LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
Yperio_Bricks replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As expected the history themed minifig steal the show once again. Wolfpack Guy Pirate Lady; Steampunk Inventor Cat Lover Rest -
Better pictures of the upcomming CMF are out. The pirate lady looks better than expected and it looks like she comes with some kind of a cloth skirt. Too bad the arms are dual molded, as they become useless because of the yellow The cockatoo looks great!

[MOC] Rock Raiders "Keep your head down!"
Yperio_Bricks replied to -DoNe-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This is a great moc! When Rock Raiders came out, i had already entered my dark ages, so i only learned about this theme in the past few years. I have to say, I really love the colors! Having the small 'islands' with the helicopter and creature seperated from the rest of the build works great and makes the moc even more interesting! I like how you built the ground panels, with the cheese slopes used for the corners. As it was said above, the water is a nice addition to the scene. And superb rock work of course! Btw, has the brown creature/bigfig/thing an official name?- 20 replies

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Yperio_Bricks replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Ok thanks, we'll see when the set will be released. Fingers crossed for the Kraken Knights! Then I'll build a medieval moc for the first time since i was a child -
Thanks for the elaborate answer I still see issues though. If they indeed have a stock of old sets and people who subscribe have a chance to get these olds sets, they will eventually run out of these sets and people will get mad while the sets themselves will appear on the secondary market for astronomical prices. Only scalpers will profit. On the other hand, if they re-release old sets (with new parts replacing parts that are not in production anymore), Lego would probably make more money if they sell the sets to anybody. We'll see what the future brings but i somehow doubt this will work out. Anyway, personally i have zero interest in a subscription

Thank you! Thanks a lot! You are right, unfortunately the palm tree leaves are rather expensive. I got the light green ones from the PAB wall in a store, but the other colors i aquired for 61 cent from PAB online over the past years. I thought i need them for pirate mocs, but i have not build a pirate moc for more than a year I thought that the orange containers are general purpose containers. I still want to build them in the future, because everyone recognizes them. Your TX-225 looks great too and the working suspension is something that we do not see normaly. So props for designing the suspension! I also very much like how you built the sides of the flatbed I was lazy and just used the bricks modified Also i must say, since i never plan anything, once i reached the back of the vehicle, i had no idea how to attach the fins The butterfly is beautiful, i love it Got it with the mushroom sprite CMF.

[O7 - LS] Bridge Assault
Yperio_Bricks replied to AgentBrix's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Great moc and action-packed scene! I love to see a Jedi leading Mandalorians into battle - so good! The dark base with the terrain and vegetation really makes that bridge stand out. You're off to a great start -
[Q10 - M] A simple meeting to start
Yperio_Bricks replied to Jody Meyer's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Magnificent corpulence So good! I really like your story and the comic style. Although i very much like the ships at the end, my favorite part has to be the giant hallway! Very inspiring, as it makes me want to build something like this in the future too! And it's great to see some familiar Light Side characters in this collab with @Sentinel_Brix But you really should add a line, explaining that the picture links to a video on flickr. Otherwise it is a bit confusing. -

When will the IDEAS Minifigure Prize Machine will be released? Do we know anything about the results of the poll as to which faction should come with the set? -
*Your entry has earned 16 XP (S:5, T:6, A:5) Mando Mayhem - 5 - Welcome to the Jungle After the New Republic made contact with the mandalorians and both sides agreed to an alliance, mixed groups of New Republic soldiers and Mandalorian warriors were sent out to the various planets and moons in the Mandalore sector. Tasked with reconnaissance they should track and observe operations of the Imperial Remnant in this region of the galaxy until combat troops arrive. On the swamp moon of Zanbar one team made contact with an imperial combat assault tank, transporting supplies through the jungle. Soldier: "Let's follow this tank to its base...." [Unfortunately i did not have the parts to build the canonical orange containers.]

I have a hard time imagining how that would have worked. Does Lego have a large warehouse with thousands of copies of hundreds of old sets or would the sets be re-released?
-
Great job on the ice cave! I really like the water pool ad the stalagmites and stalagtites as well as the upside down techniques. The story is superb as always! You captured the way of the orthodox Mandalorians well (in person of the bulky Mandalorian warrior. I always find them a bit dumb, slow and shallow (like Paz Vizsla in the Mandalorian series) and you captured that very well I am definitely in team helmet-off Mandos ) An a big thanks for your contribution to the mandy Mayham arc

Corner masonry bricks already exist from other companies and i guess they would be a lot cheaper than producing these bricks in a small CNC production run.

Sponsored Lego reviews: Do you mind?
Yperio_Bricks replied to Lego Mike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I agree A sponsored review is always an advert. LAN only exists for marketing and advertising reasons. But recently i have seen more Lego youtubers reviewing sets from other companies as well. I guess Lego's competitors are catching up and send out more free sets for reviews. Also to rather small channels. I also agree with this! Things change when a hobby becomes a job. -

[LS] The Old Jedi
Yperio_Bricks replied to AgentBrix's topic in Mysteries: A Star Wars Role-Playing Game
Sargis Aram is a great character and it's great to have a Jedi in the game. I really like the presentation of your character, meditating, with rocks levitating around him. I am looking forward to learn more about Aram and his adventures Welcome to Mysteries! Welcome to the Light Side! -
Hej hej, great to have you aboard! Welcome to the forum @shieldofgods
