My first and only entrie for May the fourth!

I'm not a Star Wars fan, much less a SWAFOL. Nevertheless, I regularly get sets and figurines from this universe for my own medieval-fantasy creations: Kylo Ren is very useful for creating a dark knight, most Jedi make great peasants... For this contest, I decided to highlight the figure of Kylo Ren and two "first order" stormtrooper. The scene takes place in the hallways of the Supremacy and it seems that they are facing an intrusion. I wanted to build an immersive scene in this tiny build and I add a « roof » for the display. I think I’ve never watch « Episode 7 » but I found this picture on the internet which was the inspiration for this Moc:

[freebuild] Avalonian Wizard's Tower
Sympatik Brick replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
I love this build… everything looks great… and the minifig looks like my own sigfig! The picture is great… is it a real build or made with Stud.io? -
Ok! Thank you!

For Minifig habitat. I’m not sure to understand « Purist minifigures ». Should I use only existing minifigs? Or can i build my own minifig (maybe only with official starwars minifigs parts?)

The pleasure was shared and it is particularly interesting to have feedback throughout the creative process. Thank you for your patience, your advice and the quality of your creature that forced me to produce something equivalent... I even thought for a while that we had some chances to win this contest. Thank you a lot! Thank you! There are actually two splashes of colors: the flower... and the tongue of the snake which are quite complementary. Contrary to what many people think: there are no Bionicle pieces in my creation for the simple reason that I have almost none. I was very annoyed when Socalbricks introduced me to his creature because I thought it was impossible to do something so alive without Bionicle parts... then I thought about my collection of Lego Vikings (the only sets I have collected) The three main pieces of the head are: - for the lower jaw: 53456 in Dark green from the Fafnir Dragon's head (only in the set 7019: Viking Fortress against the Fafnir Dragon) - for the upper jaw: 53455 in Dark Green from the Midgard Serpent's head (only in the set 7018: Viking Ship challenges the Midgard Serpent) - for the tongue: 24199 in Magenta from the Fire Dragon (only in the set 41175: Fire Dragon's Lava Cave) Each of these pieces are only found in one Lego set in the color used and is from a different creature: Luckily I own these three sets.

GoH 10B: Marginean Blacksmith (part.2)
Sympatik Brick replied to Sympatik Brick's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you! It is not impossible that I continue the "puzzle" until I get a "complete" Moc! This is exactly what I wanted to add to the scene: a little life, the crackling fire, the candles and the presence of some minifigs for which I could not have found a place in the first creation. Thank you, I wanted to put a little relief on the ground compared to the first part, even if there are no complicated techniques here, I am satisfied with the rendering! In reality I made the figurine of the blacksmith on the right a long time ago but I kept it "hidden" for a possible contest "CMF" like the previous year. It was on the occasion of this conours that I joined Guilds of Historica the year before and I thought the CMF competition would come back on a regular basis! To incorporate the shield I used this piece upside down, and I took advantage of the window to fix the shield, which itself retains the piece from the Ninjago tops. I received a letter from my LUG these two light bricks as a gift for my first participation in an exhibition (100% GoH)... the same day I finished this creation! Thank you for the tip! I'll try for sure! Thank you! I knew how to use this trans orange part the day I’ve seen it. I bought a little Ninjago set mainly for this part! -
GoH 10B: Marginean Blacksmith (part.2)

Thank you all! -
The wine cellar is an essential place in life in Marginea... people meet there, gather around a glass of wine... while others deliberately get lost in the cellar... but the staff keeps watch.

Thank you. Yes. I regularly use the yellow sleeves… and most of the great things you saw were not new : The scarecrow, the scythe or the wagon… all of them were already built at the begin of these contests… I am happy with these parts so I didn’t tried to make new ones. Hercule’s hairs are not easy to reuse because of the classic « orange » color… but fit well with the beard in my opinion. I didn’t know anything about blue milk before your post… but a lot of the jedis’ bodies are usefull for peasants!

The last few hours had been quite eventful. Harry was fighting a losing battle against the Basilisk until he received unexpected help from Fawkes (who brought with him the Sorting Hat). Harry reached into it and pulled out the fabled Sword of Gryffindor, which he proceeded to plunge into the serpent’s mouth. With Fawkes and the sword returned to their owner (and a certain house elf in need of freeing) Harry left Dumbledore’s office. The old wizard, now alone, examined the sword, which now seemed to be imbued with a unique power…

GoH 10C - End of an Avalonian’s castle
Sympatik Brick replied to Sympatik Brick's topic in Guilds of Historica
Thank you! I started building the castle and then the upper dragon… it was so fun so I build the underground after. -
@Clone OPatra Is there any rule about overflow? If in the upper part my Moc is a little bit larger (less than 1 stud in each dimension) is it ok? Another question is it ok to have overflow at least on the invisible part of the build ?

GoH 10 B: The Witch of Heedwor
Sympatik Brick replied to Captain Flint's topic in Guilds of Historica
Everything is great here, the snow looks real, the Tudor style is amazing, the proportion are perfect! -
Thank you! I didn’t know I would spend so many hours to build this « tiny » Moc. But I was so amazed by Socalbricks’ creature that I had to surpass myself. If I tell you that all my cheeseslopes in lime and medium lime were used in this moc... you will understand that I had no choice to mix! I guess if I had had enough of one of the two colors I would probably have mixed anyway!

Viking Life in the Frozen Wilds
Sympatik Brick replied to Sympatik Brick's topic in Guilds of Historica
It’s my first ever « Mitgardian » Moc. I hesitate a lot before to join Avalonia. I was also really inspired by this guild. It was funny to build this boat « upside-down » -
Neat build! I especially like the brown / nougat / lime colors and all the flowers and vegetables. I don’t know this extension of Catan… I will definitely have to look after, at least to see the other drawings.

Sure! Steal it! I have so many things to steal too in all the beautiful Mocs I see here, in brickscalibur or summer joust… I guess some other builders did the same before me but I remember well to try this tip on my own with one of my 8 Vikings female. I was so sad these were not fleshies!!! I’m sure you can use some fleshies bodies on your « yellows » too! Just put yellow hands! 😝
-
Thank you… the « yellow skin tip » is not new for me… you can see it in my « New Hope » grange, my « Golden Dragon » tavern or in my round windmill… The « yellow skin tip » can work with other colors too… I used the goblin torso (serie 13) in another minifig here! (and in the « New Hope » grange too.) Edit: I’m happy with my cows, and I hope you’ll find somes. Thank you! It was the perfect timing. These modified plates came in PAB here in France a few months ago…
