  1. Thank you Kai. I was wanted to participate to the contest within continuing my work for GoH. For the moment I kept all my GoH related builds and minifigs so I have less and less bricks left. My only way to participate was to make some little builds and it was a new personal challenge because I didn’t try the vignette format before. It was a one shot build in a few hours, i didn’t used any advanced technics to build this scene and I used the complete head of a Ninjago mecha-dragon set without any modifications. I planned first to build my own dragon head later but I didn’t because I love these eyes and the color scheme fit with avalonians builds!
  2. @Eyrezer No. He couldn’t be in the rich part of the build, and I didn’t ask you to try to figure him in the poor part, I consider he had never enter the dragon’s clan fortress. He wasn’t at the joust because he needed to find a way to join the dragon clan quickly. His visit to the watchtower was not succesfull because he was to young… He spent some time at the « New Hope » grange but even if everybody was kind it was not such an adventure. Now he pushed the door of the dragon’s clan forteress, I’ll have to build this forteress.
  3. The Brickscalibur event is over… and it was fun and interesting to see all these medievals builds. I was inspired by all 6 categories and choosed at the early beginning to make one submission for each… but I had no much time… and no much bricks left for my participation so I choosed to work on vignettes for 4 of the category. I decided to stage my sigfig Walt Herboï in a little adventure. Vignette - 12x12 (Walt’s journey 1/4) The riches that passed through the port of Barqa were numerous and accidents during unloading were not rare. The Varlyrian nobility also sometimes tended to dispose of objects that have become cumbersome directly in the port. That was enough to persuade Walt to visit. He crossed the Whiter Woods to reach Barqa and went for a swim as refreshing as it was lucrative. Rogues and Outlaws (Walt’s journey 2/4) Gold is good, but it's complicated to transport. Walt was forced to part with it at a second-hand dealer from Barqa. Dreaming of adventure, he exchanged it for a treasure map, which seems to indicate the presence of a cave guarded by a dragon not far from Marginea. As he recrosses the Whiter Woods, he comes face to face with elves ready to rid him of his riches. The old parchment in his hand does not make the elves pursue him too long ... it would have been quite the opposite if he still had his pockets full of gold coins. Monstrous Encounters (Walt’s Journey 3/4) The map Walt obtained at the port of Barqa indicates treasure hidden in the mountains south of Sionnach, allegedly guarded by a dragon. Thirsting for adventure, Walt climbs the mountain’s steepest side and comes upon a temple carved into the rock. It seems uninhabited but its contents shine brightly. With his foot on a gold coin, a terrible rumble resounds. Huggingy the wall, Walt feels the warm breath of the half-awakened dragon. Interior Architect (Walt’s Journey 4/4) In a defensive reflex, Walt grabbed a sword very close to him before to roll down the mountain. If his legs saved his life, this sword would change it ... his dream is finally coming true, he will be able to enter the throne room and offer his services at the same time as this sword to King Dagorn and thus follow the path of his late father. Thank you for your feedbacks… my rogues and outlaws participation is the least successful of the four builds but I’m happy with the elves!
  4. @EyrezerI am totally agree! I had only 7/8 parts in a bulk and it was impossible to build this Ninjago set. I tried another use for these pieces. I will probably make some changes if I found some more pieces like that. I would probably name this mushroom boletus droidus…
  5. Really impressive… and detailed! Even the landscape is build in Lego.
  6. Really nice colors. I love the automn atmosphere… especially intrigued by the little round roof! The door and birds such colored are a really nice touch in this build… I guess @Aurore will have to use binoculars to identify all these birds! (Really cool bird house by the way!)
  7. Really nice build. The 1x1 plates and 1x1 flowers are just in my opinion to regular. Maybe you should mixed them (but just a little). Full of color like always! Great job!
  8. It’s another artwork! So much details ! Good luck for the Brickscalibur Challenge!
  9. Impressive from behind… stunning from inside…. It looks like 2 differents Mocs. One side looks quiet the other is full of life.
  10. Thank you. The collaboration was so speed (Less than 3 days I think) It was really funny to build for this contest with someone at the total opposite of the planet. I’m happy you like these minifigs… 7/9 are from my CMF contest contribution and the 2 others were created for this event too. Even if I didn’t earn one single vote for this CMF contest I’m really happy with these figs. I know how hard it was to choose between these CMF contribution. I didn’t spend time to create my minifigs and concentrate my work on the building in this limited (24x12) Moc. The dark green color was an evidence (Avalonia) and I had a bunch of 1x3 plate in this lovely color… I used the same (easy) technic than in my « New Hope » Grange… just more regular.
  11. Really colorful Moc. I really like how you managed to do the water fall… and the dark brown/lime/green/dark green transition. Welcome back.
  12. Really lively Moc. I love especially the rounded docks and the water-mill (it was my first Moc project for GoH, but I didn’t figure how to do this. I’ll probably try later, now I have a really nice model) Almost everything is perfect on this build, so many clever use of parts. The only little imperfection in my opinion: Do you have seven minifigs’ hooks to hang the fishes? It would be more realistic and beautiful.
  13. No please, bad idea! It’s so difficult to find fleshy arms and hands, half of the fleshy minifigs wear SW suits with gloves! 😂
  14. Thank you. I created both nobles from Varlyrio for the CMF contest… before to choose to make only kings, queens and sorcer of all kind. They are usefull now! It was fun to use head and headgear from the Captain Hook minifig for this couple of fig.
  15. Thank you Kai. I love this Viking Woman Minifigurine (I’ve got 7 or 8 I found in a bulk) but I’m crying she’s not fleshy!
  16. The Royal Joust: The nobles’ indulgence Each year, the Dragon Clan fortress hosted a great festival, culminating in the Royal Joust. The most brave knights fought for the favour of the queen! In the royal gallery, we find of course the royal couple but also many personalities from the surrounding kingdoms: dwarves from the northern lands, elves of the Avalonian forests, nomadic orcs of the desert, and nobles from the island province of Valyrio. This was my contribution for the Brickscalibur contest in « the Rich and the Poor » category, partnering with Eyrezer.
  17. Ok! Now I’m interested in Disney minifigs!
  18. I would say Tile, Round 1 x 1 with Bar and Pin Holder in black Minifigure, Plume Feather Small in black And Golden hand ?
  19. The hamlet of Marginea is expanding rapidly, its border location between Avalonia and Kaliphlin makes it a regular crossing point for merchants and traders of all kinds. The establishment of the armies of the dragon clan significantly increases the number of mouths to feed. In the oven and in the mill, a couple is active night and day to grind the grain, make and bake the bread. There is no shortage of work, we will have to think about recruiting.
  20. Genius! (And always some really nice parts in your collection) I prefer fleshies too, less diversity but much more fun. I have a few tips to be able to use nice parts designed for yellow or non-fleshies minifigs. Beard can hide the collar for men (Here, the beard hide the yellow part from this Ninjago torso) Arms can be changed in yellow (or any color used inside the collar) to make a shirt. (Here you can see an example with the Forest Maiden and troll torso use) Probably nothing new for you but helpful to be able to use nice parts when you don’t have a lot of choice.
  21. Simple but efficient. I do need this little printed tile! Where does this skeleton face come from?
  22. Ah ah! I put the flags in back only because I had no more 1x1 brick in light grey. I used some 1x1 modified and I had to hide them. As you can see I have no more 2x4 arch in light grey too! … I’m happy with the signage too. There’s no more helm on the roof. I took it for a minifig.
  23. Love it! I would definitely buy this advent calendar if it was possible! 😍
  24. 1 points for 5.KaiNRG 1 point for 8.Aurore 1 point for 11.Kahir88
