    I would say the 8258 Crane Truck would be a very good candidate for the most technical technic set. And maybe 8043 Excavator ? Both are very complex sets and the gearbox in indeed technical in both sets.

    Damn, this Bugatti set is sooo good looking and the rims are to die for. Although the price is kind of insane, I will probably get this when a discount will pop up.

    Great review and awesome pics ! As for the set, it looks very good, but i think the price is somehow on the high note. The major problem for me is the space it takes to display it. Also the minifigs look some kind of simple, I wish they had more accessories.

    Out of all sets, I think I like this one the best. Till now I do not own a forklift and the price/looks are decent.

    I would say buy both the 42043 and 42053. The Arocs is a great set all-in-all and a must have if you ask me and the Volvo is also very, very nice, with lots of pneumatic goodness.

    I too wished this set was in the line with 8258, 8285 and 42043, but still it looks very good. Any idea when it should be in stores for us to buy ?

    Uuuuu, I am so happy that LEGO decided to make another truck in the Technic line, especially a Mack. Until now I got the 8285 and 9397 (btw, I think the Logging Trucks is an underestimated set, imho it is a decent looking truck) and I can't want to get this one. LEGO wants my money again

    Super review and pics Jim, always a pleasure to read your reviews ! As for the set, I am very disappointed by it, the outriggers and the crane look unfinished, and the overall design is poor, imho. Price wise, the set is way too expensive.

    Hmm, I have mixed feeling about this year sets. The Tow Truck is nice and different, maybe a little too big for my taste but a nice set overall (I would have preferred a re-release of 8285 tow truck with better functions, but I do not think that is a popular opinion). As for the other two sets, they are ok. Maybe after seeing some reviews in the summer my opinion will change.

    Have this set for over 2 years in my collection and all the pieces are in perfect shape. It is and was always in display. It is a great set but 200$ is a bit much (i paid for mine 100 euro with almost all stickers worn out and cracked). There are some hard to get / unique parts so maybe it is worth it. I would buy it at this price only if all the pieces are there and the stickers are in good condition. However, keep in mind that this is a awesome ser and LEGO will never make one like it ever again, so if it is in good condition go for it.

    I would say 8258 is one of my favorite Techinc sets, but very close is the 8461 F1 Williams Race Car. A great and unique model.
