    Mates, I dont want to open all secrets and answer all your questions now. Detailed presentation is part of the plan, so lets save something for that;) I can comment some objective things: 1. I really dont like color scheme of 9398. Without stickers it looks like it was created at scrapyard from two different cars: front from black civil car and white back from pickup. And only stickers help to avoid this absurd. We decided to make new model with racing stickers, but also saved possibility to make it look good without them. 2. Color was selected long before pools, but pools confirmed that we going right way:) 3. Windshield was reinforced with thin liftarms, cause there were problems with roof if you grab model by hand. 9398 has shorter roof without that problem. 4. Model was stretched some studs.

    Thank you. Glad that you like it. ReBuilding was a big challenge for us, and there are any compromisses here. But again I am glad that you like it. Thank to my codesigner, cant say his name now, but all his proposals about improving help us to make Boss much better. Sorry, there is no 19L soft axles here. But, Hope, you find the way to use new rims with white stripe in you supercars.

    This little part was changed after first parties of 9398. Information was already posted about it. Winch is here. The way how it works you'll see later. New wheels with 6 holes appeared with white circle on it! Color is dark blue.

    Take a look at a side steps and bull bar - they are metallic. Wheels have white circle and 6 holes (not 3)!;) Waiting for online presentation in april

    +1 Power pullers are too heavy for remote controlled moc. Too much load for any lego transmission. Look for 3rd party tires, you'll love them;) and save much money:D

    Good start, hope next set will be not Chima or Turtle Ninjas:) Coming back to Boss: There many work to do to present new model in such short period: 1) build winning model in cooperation with winner 2) analyze it 3) improve design in cooperation with winner 4) improve colour sheme + stickers in cooperation with winner 5) check model to agree all TLG building rules 6) produce details with new color 7) prepare presentation, instruction, and needed detail sets for every member of commission 8) accept model by comission 9) complete comission's recomendations 10) count all parts needed for set several times 11) develop design of the box 12) prepare materials for online presentation All this work must be done while making other work, not linked with crawler ( developing new models for 2014,2015...) This is the first experience for TLG to make model in cooperation with lego-fan in short period of time. We must understand and be patient. :)

    Great model, baja theme is popular this year:) I also started building process of trophy baja truck two weeks ago:) but my is smaller, lighter with one buggy motor. Now it is chassis with mototrs and rollcage:) cant finish it, cause every time I want to build - remote control comes to my hand and we begin to burn:D

    Thank you. I'm still in envy - you've got so many technic sets as winner 2010. For AFOL fame is nothing, many sets for details is the best prize, no?:) One win is enough - Next time we have to use another nickname to win

    Designs are perfect for supercars, but bad for trial. The weakes part - 12t gears at diff. They will slip at obstacle when you lock diff. Better and safer way to lock this diff is to connect rear and front axle shafts directly with another axle and drive ring.

    From Belorussian builder pajero4x4. Dont know, if 108 mm fit in arches or not?! Iam afraid they touch front bumper or wheel arches. Lookin forward to his building...

    +1 May be someone can help me: I need tires with diameter about 62-70 mm, real look proportions and off road tread pattern for any lego wheel (43.2x26 is prefferable) Nearest is 4WD MTZ BAJA SCALE 1.55. - about 80 mm, very cool, but much bigger my needs... I want something to replace lego's 62,4 x 20.

    Of course- buying 9398 is practically cheaper. TLG present Winning crawler model as exclusive limited edition set, not mainstream. Someone will like it, someone will not. :)
