I don't want discuss these products, paste any links and "brand" names. Please don't do that here. No matter if it is legal or not discussing it here on EB, but the problem is here. Closing eyes will not help. Dear moderators, if you think think we should not do it here - do what you should do.

Bad news, First of all, sorry, don't wanna hurt our true-LEGO fans from China Chinese thiefs copied LEGO technic Offical sets this year, following the high sales wave of novelties, just some months ago appeared, and now we can buy all epic flagships of last years including all power functions elements and pneumatics. BUT, This was the first step, now they quickly reached our technic MOCs with their dirty hands. First is Madoka's Avtoros Shaman 8x8 (very first was modular building theme MOC, just 2 weeks ago). Very successful model, just watch YouTube stats and you will see. Who will be the next? Crowkillers, Sheepo?!! I am sure they already built our models, and right now find the way to simplify them (as with Shaman 8x8) keeping original well-known design and make money selling as sets... Well, to say the true, I don't see really bad when they copy design of parts to be LEGO-compatible and sell their own developed set. They can be very successful with new, more powerful motors (that's easy, why not?), rc elements, or even new better tires -all that we ask LEGO for a long time. But they don't want. Just steal, replicate and sell. They sell them as LEGO products (sure some of customers can't see difference between LEGO and LEGO-compatible copy) following design of the boxes. As someone said, I am afraid that this Chinese sh@t fill bricklink market place step by step, no matter bricklink rules and legacy. All We can do as AFOL - to tell our subscribers why it is important to not support thiefs (without any names, no promo), and why their toys are cheap... for example, there are a lot of expenses than Chinese thiefs don't pay developing testing testing and testing marketing advertising environment social safety certification Waste utilization social communities support! ... this is a short, not full list chinese thiefs don't do all that things, beside that, they pollute environment and use cheap/child Human Resources producing low quality, non-safety certified plastic crap that is looking like LEGO including box art. We are disappointed, but should not stop our hobby, passion. Just support LEGO and tell everyone abut thiefs. What do you think guys? May be we can use common stop motion picture with information that every our video-viewer should know? Any other actions by us or just close our eyes and leave this as problem of LEGO group?

[MOC] Avtoros Shaman 8x8
rm8 replied to Madoca 1977's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Avtoros is already informed. Since global company LEGO Group can't instantly protect its rights, then, what small local Avotoros company can do against them? Bad idea to sue Chinese companies on their law territory, just waste of money... I am afraid, we will see other MOC's soon. So I opened other theme for discussion. Don't wanna fill this thread of brilliant model discussing thiefs. -
Moscow Jeep Trial 2016 November 12-13

Madoka is going to cut us in half by his katana...at least by design skills. But if he'll teach us his mastership, we will show em how to drive on roads without roads, only directions- 27 replies

Oh no...Guys, please don't convert creative hobby to intellectual property club. Just build, and don't say "my idea" when it is 100% the same as someone shared before. Many OUR ideas are often modified ideas of someone else. Yes, you can credit other designer, if you think it is fair. But no need to discuss that in style "to be or not ot be....". Sorry, but this topic is boring, if you want to talk - just visit technic pub ( find pub entrance by yourself)

SBrick General Discussion
rm8 replied to Nofer89's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I have to agree with guys:( I have 4 sbricks, and 1 of them with "Firmware version 0 and hardware version 0" is also not working in 100% slider. I also can't update it, no temperature and voltage information. And before last iOS update I have no problem with 100% slider. I have another problem. When sbrick and device loss connection at long range and then reconnects automatically again (without reloading app and profile), then sbrick start working with sensible lag about 1-2 seconds. It can be solved by turning off and on sbrick power only.- 780 replies

Moscow Jeep Trial 2016 November 12-13

I don't think you really need this. We have limited width of obstacles. Heavy rear axle is disadvantage for trial- 27 replies

Cool! How grippy they are comparing to LEGO 62 mm tires? Are they heavier comparing to 62?

Hi, I've brought you simple fun mod of 42050 B 42050 B is useless as A model, but good base for crazy wheeled "stick" My MOD is = 42050B + 2x (Buggy motor+LiPo + Sbrick) + Servo motor. I've tested stock 81 mm tumbler tyres and larger 94 mm Unimog tyres. 107 mm Xerion is bad, cause tractor thread pattern is bad for fast speeds. Used iPhone as speed tracker. Not sure that it is 100% right, but cmparing to other models shared online, speed is 99% correct. Not a speed record, but it is not a bone chassis with motors also. I knew I can't beat speed record, so I've made another record: the fastest LEGO model with custom CHROMED parts (Chrome Block City, thanks to Aurelius) p.s. In the background "AK-47 Kalshnikov" development and production plant. Historic building.

[MOC] Street/Drift car

well designed! Aspahlt is too grainy. You better go to shopping mall and make chaos there on flat surface. What inspired you? Something with "86"number? -

[HELP Buggy Motor Battery
rm8 replied to EvilEnderman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I don't know the price of that lipo, but p Sbrick is better investment, then disable battery block thermo overload protection. Do you have small AAA battery block or Lego lipo? You need shunt it - that is easy. That will be enough for small car with one buggy motor. -
