  1. I love the statue design, and the fact that you changed and upgraded the original look. Especially that slope/beak piece and the "eyebrow" slopes give the head a slightly scary look.
  2. Currently Bricklink only has 1 entry for the bat piece https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=1766#T=S&O={"iconly":0} Today I found out there are two slightly different moulds (that I know of), when trying to connect them to the 2L bar with stop ring: One (I assume the old model) sits above the stop ring (left), and the newer one lets you press it down the bar all the way to the stop ring (right), meaning the hole inside it is bigger. Also they differ in texture, with the newer one (again on the right) being more matte and feels more textured: Does anyone know how to report it to Bricklink so a new, alternative entry can be created?
  3. wow this may be my favourite set of yours so far! love all the play features and hidden spots
  4. Blue coats, because they were the original 'bad guys' :) But honesly I don't care for the soldiers that much, for me it was always all about the pirates, the soldiers that came with my sets were always 'extras' in my Pirates adventures
  5. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=2545pb01&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11,"cond":"N","iconly":0} Why are there SO MANY shako hats for sale from German sellers? Do you think they are fakes?
  6. Not really a Pirate raft, but COULD be! From Gnome Raft - Summer Joust 2023 by @BardDandelion
  7. Part count is embedded in the images :D I'd love to see this set from the back, and also maybe a peek inside the King's tent? @SevenDeadlyStreamers could you also export some images with white background, instead of black? It'd be easier to check the details that way.
  8. This would be my deck: I tried to choose the most Pirate-looking characters in the game. I wanted to re-do those characters in Studio, but there are too many minifig elements missing from the Bricklink catalogue :/ Edit. I did the Wallbreaker and Barb Barrel :)
  9. after seeing the updated Ironhook torso @Danny_Boy4 designed here, I cannot be more excited to have one officially reissued by Lego. also all the suggestions from @Breakspear above are on point! female Islander and a refreshed version of the merchant "Steve" in particular
  10. Flickr if you have an account or Imgur for a quick fix. Also WOW you have two of those! Are you planning to build them both and connect them?
  11. This is hilarious, haven't seen a set like this one before, super unique and on point at the same time :D
  12. @Marooned Marin could you please move all the off-topic exchanges from [ENTRY] 6278/6292 Enchanted Island Remake here, so that entry thread is not littered with all this drama?
  13. This is so cool, missed out on this post and the commercial above. Love it!
  14. I've corrected the brightnesss of the photos because they are way too dark, and my eyes hurt trying to focus on them. Enjoy:
  15. based on that small photo - WOW, looks incredible, I love the brick built croc and the head monument in particular. I cannot wait for better quality photos! I had this set as a kid at it was my top 3 fav Pirates sets from my collection
  16. I like it! But how is that palm tree attached to the base? My only negative comment will be about the round brick-built roof - it looks too thick for my taste, using plates and maybe slopes (i.e. part 11477) would make it look more smooth and better overall.
  17. Also, can I suggest editing your photos and making them lighter - they are awfully dark
  18. I was thinking that it'd be cool to make a list of play features (i.e. press x for something to happen, or lift this lid to uncover a hidden object, etc) in the existing Pirates sets. Please send suggestions that come to your mind and I'll add them to the first post. For example: 70411: Treasure Island: - pull the tree to open the cave entrance - there's a small hiding spot next to the cave to hide the map
  19. Honestly, not my cup of tea, looks too simple and plain for my personal taste. Even the fist wave of Pirates sets was a wee more detailed. I do like the shape of this building though, I'd love to see it a bit modernised though.
  20. I like this! I'm not a fan of brick built boats, but this one works as a tribute to this classic set (which was my first Pirates set ever). Was there a boat that inspired your design - the front in particular?
  21. I had this set as a kid and loved it. Fantastic remake, I love you how made it bigger and more realistic, especially the more yellow version with a tree stands out! Yet another amazing build.
  22. Ehhh, imagine if Lego released this set instead of the Eldorado remake :/
  23. Can someone who owns this set set it up next to the PoBB (the island version) to show how those two look next to each other?
  24. Looks great! I also like that you decided to take the Pirates flag off the raft and put it on the rifle - looks awesome
