    Well between this, the Dark Falcon, the smart brick version, and the new UCS release, I guess we're probably not getting a new regular OT Falcon until at least 2028. Kind of unbelievable how long it's been at this point, huh.

    Oh yeah there are plenty for every gen, I just singled out 5 because I think it's in the perfect sweet spot for being old enough to have a lot of Gen Zers who are nostalgic for it (along with 4, 6, and 7) while also having a ton of popular options (largely by virtue of having so many mons) and no coverage as of yet. And I'm sure they'll do more for the earlier gens too, 1 in particular will probably get at least a couple big sets every year since it's the most popular and the one where there's the biggest money-making potential (nostalgic millennials with disposable income).

    Gen 5 would be great and seems plausible since there are a lot of popular options. Any of the starters or box legendaries, Zorua/Zoroark, Hydreigon, Victini, maybe Haxorus? Seems inevitable that we'll see one of them sooner or later to me.

    It's big but imo it still feels a little small for the original price, especially the inside. I get they were limited by the design but the interior is absolutely tiny compared to how much space the whole ship takes up. It's probably not the worst set I own though, off the top of my head I'd probably give it to either the 327th battle pack or Battle on Takodana, both of which are the kind of sets you buy pretty much entirely for the minifigures.

    As someone who does actually own the Justifier (only because I found it for 60% off), I certainly wouldn't say it's a bad set, more just unremarkable and obscure like you said. The biggest problem imo is that it just feels underwhelming for the size and price, and I think that coupled with the aforementioned issues just made it an easy target of mockery.

    The new info is pretty exciting, definitely interested in both of the Cloud City sets, Mustafar, and perhaps the Y Wing as well. Yeah this is something I'm confused about too. I can't imagine any reason why they'd release too sets that are part of the same location in one wave and not design them to go together, even if there's not a physical connection. The distribution of the Vaders is weird too, I always felt like including him and the concept version in the same set was a bit odd, even if they're ultimately two distinct designs. And now that we have this new info I also find it strange that regular Vader apparently comes in both the duel and the other set, cause to me it'd make more sense to throw in someone else (even just a storm trooper if the budget isn't there) and have it so you don't get two Vaders for buying two sets that you'd obviously want to display together. The only thing I can think of is that they felt like they had to put him in both because he's essential to both scenes, which would imply that the new set is at least partly the dining room, but then why is Carbonite Han also here??? Maybe it's just the Dining Room and the Freezing Chamber but that sounds like it'd be pretty big and I don't remember the last time Lego did a big location set in the January wave. Perhaps it'll all make sense soon but for now I find it a little puzzling.

    These both look great! I especially like the mechanical detail around the minifigure scale ship's engines.

    The January wave having more anniversary figures is nice, definitely explains the otherwise meh minifigure line-ups. I do wonder if we'll get any others, hopefully so since so far they're the most interesting part of the 2026 sets. Chewbacca makes way too much sense not to do, seeing as how they already have the head mold in-production. I will say though, why do they keep including exclusive minifigures in buildable figure sets? I would have figured that the people buying the buildable figures tend not to care about minifigs as much, but I suppose the intention might just be to get people who wouldn't buy them normally to pick it up. Idk it's just annoying.

    The battle pack only having 4 minifigures is disappointing but not surprising honestly, the 327th was $45 with only 4 minifigures and some droids (which I would say Lego typically doesn't consider to be full minifigures). Nonetheless it is pretty disappointing, I was hoping to get at least one of these but I definitely won't at that price. I'd say the jury is still out on most of the others though, the minifigure selections aren't amazing but they're pretty logical for the subject matter (jsf line up is disappointing but not unexpected). What it'll really come down to for me are the builds, I could definitely be convinced to pick up the Mustafar and Bespin duels but it'll depend on how they come out (especially Mustafar since I own the one from a couple years ago, but it's puny enough that I wouldn't say no to an upgrade).

    Jokes aside I actually do think that a protracted period of major new Star Wars content might be great for Lego Star Wars, it'd give them more room to cover more niche/obscure stuff that gets skipped over in favor of covering popular older movies and the new stuff.

    One doppelganger per ninja would be interesting but I feel like that would eat up so much of the prints budget unless they're reusing parts from the regular ninjas. Maybe they'd do them like the Forbidden Five and split them up over winter and summer though, I guess that'd still allow for some basic villains too.

    Just saw the list of new sets. Don't have much to comment on but the concept of "Evil Cole" is cracking me up. Is he already a character in the show or is this a new guy? Is he exactly the same except evil, or is it like a mirror version thing where he's Cole's total opposite?

    Definitely agree with others on here that it would be seriously disappointing if the next set is a statue of the Master Sword (or Hylian Shield, or Triforce, or whatever else there are already a million statues of). Honestly I'd be happy with pretty much anything else, it could go in any direction and I wouldn't be disappointed given the sheer volume of characters and locations from across the series that could be covered. My feeling is that they might do something from Tears of the Kingdom next, seeing as how it's hugely popular (or at the very least it sold very well). It would also let them reuse at least the hair and headpieces from the BotW Link and Zelda, which would free up the parts budget for other new molds. Not really sure what they would do though, the Light Dragon would be cool but I'm not sure if it's iconic enough? TotK doesn't have a ton of iconic locations specific to it though aside from the general setting of the sky islands, which I suppose could be a set but would lack the iconic-ness of the Deku Tree and the OoT Final Battle.

    Wow those look bad. Most of them look so squished down, it's like they're trying to make them chibi but it's not cute it just looks bad.

    They both look good. Honestly the AT-AT is a bit tempting as I've been wanting one for a while, but I think my lack of free space plus not enjoying the movie is kinda pushing me towards not getting it haha. Sandcrawler isn't my thing as much but it's nice that we're getting mudolorian and Kuiil (in a cheaper set).

    It is definitely abnormal but part of it is probably due to them really being the only main characters. It's not like with making sets for the sequels where you had Rey, Finn, and Poe, plus main antagonists who regularly show up to focus the sets around. But to some extent it is also just Lego being weird and wanting to include them in every set for some reason cause there were still sequel sets that didn't have any main characters/villains in them.

    I feel like that wouldn't fit with the general design ethos they've had going with all the sets up to this point, but those two are arguably the most desirable minifigures they haven't yet done for LotR so you'd think Lego would have thrown them in Minas Tirith if they weren't planning to make them later on. If this theme keeps going then there's no doubt in my mind we'll get them eventually, though as @Black Falcon said a display set at some point would make a lot of sense as I don't know if Pellenor Fields itself would be as popular as a lot of other options they could do for a larger set. Maybe something between $50 and $100 that has Eowyn, Theoden, and the Witch King, with the main build being the Fell Beast?

    Not really related to your point but these names are so funny to me. What's next, lieutenant arm hair? This looks pretty great for a potential $10 set, nice job! I don't know how willing Lego is to actually put these kinds of sets out (I suppose time will tell if the Mando speeder was a one-off) but I feel like they're more important now than ever if Lego wants to keep kids interested in Lego. Also would just be nice to have a cheap set with both of them. If I'm not mistaken, the last time C-3PO appeared in a set under $50 was the 2022 advent calendar, and before that it was the 2020 landspeeder.

    I know this isn't a bold prediction at all, but I feel they'll definitely do a bigger wave than they typically do for a TV show. Starfighter is primed to be wayyyy more popular than anything they've done since Mando, and even if it does just fine for a movie, it'll still have way more eyes on it than almost all the Disney+ shows. A wave on the scale of the sequel ones seems unlikely but I think 6 sets would be very reasonable (plus maybe one or two spoiler sets later on). Agreed, and if they're waiting that long then they may as well just have it (maybeeee "them") tie in with season 2. Probably not what most people want but that just seems way more realistic then them waiting until to cover season 1 until it's two years in the rear-view mirror.

    Agreed on the Starfighter speculation, I think we'll get a decently big wave for it but there's zero shot it's going to monopolize the year like Mando did for 2026. I mean, we already know that it pretty much certainly won't since we have a pretty decent list of leaked sets to work off of. I just hope it's more like the 2010s movie waves where it doesn't eat into the other waves of the year as much (not expecting this tbh just hoping).

    If the trends of the last few years hold then we should be due for another Ninjago City set next year (they've doing one every other year for a while). Even if they end that line, I imagine they'd keep doing sets in the same vein since they seem to be pretty popular.

    New official images for the Legends sets are out, my thoughts haven't changed much from my initial appraisal but I do think it's neat that you can remove the Ultra Dragon from the stand.

    The Hutt Droid set looks neat, very cool to get a new Embo fig. I am a little disappointed Rotta isn't in it though, it probably doesn't make sense within the context of the movie but unless I'm misremembering, this was the last M&G set we didn't know much about right? So it doesn't seem too likely we're getting a Rotta fig...

    A new Helms Deep would be interesting but I don't think it seems too likely for next year. I agree with the suggestion that it'll probably be something smaller, not sure what but hopefully it can cover some of them big gaps we've still got.
