  1. Angel Kitty was hilariously passive. Not the best Toy Story special, but it was still nicely done! It's nice to see some second-tier characters getting some time in the spotlight.
  2. Althior follows the plan
  3. Looks pretty good to me! I heard a while back that Smith and Courtney were going to be in each others roles (Smith as Boomerang and Courtney as Deadshot), but honestly I really like the idea of Smith as Deadshot. Hardy as Rick Flagg should be cool too. Definitely color me intrigued.
  4. It could work for Fred, though I'd prefer a different style for him. Trickster completely slipped my mind! I'd hope TLG would give us other rogues first (Mirror Master and Heat Wave mostly), but I wouldn't be opposed to a Trickster figure. It's probably for another theme, but I can dream.
  5. Althior spins on his heels, thrusting a gloved finger into Blitze's face. "You had your chance to comply, Alchemist. We'll do what we must," He turns back to the monster. "We should go for its legs first. I'm guessing that will slow it down," He looks to Hoke. "Up to you, boss"
  6. I'm betting it's probably for the rumored Scooby Doo theme. It would work for Human Torch, but I doubt TLG will be doing F4 with Marvel's recent boycott. Not sure if anyone in DC would work for it besides Barry. If they do Booster, I bet they'd either use his game hair or (if they're to lazy to make a new mold) GA's hairpiece.
  7. Althior pulls out his scepter with a death grip on it. "There's something you don't see every day," He remarks, coldly. He uncorks a Tonic and drinks it. He catches the Fang as he makes his way toward the monster, ready for combat.
  8. Althior steps back, his jabs at the alchemist not working. "What time are you tucked in, kid?"
  9. Althior grips his scepter tightly "What was that you child said sir? About your wife? Will she never be her?"
  10. "It's a little thing called the justice system. We take you in and see if you're our guy. If you're not, you walk away. You have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide." He pauses "We're taking you with us one way or another. You decide under what terms,"
  11. Could be. There could also be a workshop of some sorts with a few helmets like so in the supposed tower set.
  12. Don't know what the blue helmet would be used for (the IGOR suit from IM3 comes to mind), though perhaps it could be a suit Ultron controls? But that second one does look a bit too similar to the AoU suit to be a coincidence. Nice find!
  13. We just got a review of Series 13 earlier today. You know that, right? These could provide for some neat figures. A headless horseman figure could be really cool. That's a neat looking helmet too. Not sure if the Hairpiece will be used for CMF's though. So far it's only appeared on two figs in licensed themes (Aquaman and Green Arrow). Personally, I think it would look odd on a yellow fig.
  14. "What is it then? If you quit inching your way around the question maybe I wouldn't have to use this tone. We're investigating multiple attacks and attempted homicides by someone using a blue liquid that's 'not quite a remedy'; exactly like what you seem to have there. Now, would you care to answer the question, sir?"
  15. Still, they've always had just about all the key players in sets loosely based on the game (we had Lex and Supes for LB2 and Loki and Dr Doom for LEGO Marvel). It seemed like this was a very unique wave in comparison to the other DC waves, and I thought it would be because it was to tie in with the game. Short Sleeve flesh arms? Neat that it looks like the YJ version as opposed to what we see in LB3.
  16. Agreed. That's me talking even without being the Lantern fan I am. Some form of set with Star Sapphire, Indigo 1, Saint Walker, Larfleeze, and Atrocitus would make sense for me (seeing the role they play in the game). I'd kill for a Kilowag too, but we can talk about that later. On a separate note, I'm rather surprised how little the sets seem to tie in with the game besides characters. Grodd, GA, Aquaman, Captain Cold, and Manta have very small parts in the game and aren't even part of the story. Darkseid isn't in the game at all either (besides the DLC). The GL set and the Brainiac tie in the most, but besides the Brainiac ship and the Javelin, none of the models really play into the game. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this wave and don't think it could have been better (besides more lanterns ), just I find it odd how little it does play in with the game.
  17. "Answer the question. What are you doing with the Remedy? Maybe we can be on friendly terms afterwards,"
  18. You get on top of these reviews pretty fast these days! Superb review as usual, WhiteFang! Series 13 may be one of my favorites released by TLG, and your review does nothing but help that image. The interview is a very nice inclusion as well. It's very interesting to see how much thought and effort goes into these figs. Again, very nicely done!
  19. "Not as tied up as you might be in a few moments," The Mage smirks, "What are you doing with that remedy, there? Nothing suspicious, I hope,"
  20. "Do you know of an Omri Blitze? He's a possible suspect in our little investigation here," Althior follows
  21. "Let's see what the temple knows about our friend. I'm not really one for breaking and entering if it can be avoided,"
  22. Gotta be the King for me. The detail in the printing, crown, and cape all sell it. Definitely stands out above the rest for me, personally. I really like the Goblin, Wizard, and Hot Dog guy as well. Definitely a top notch series.
  23. EB XMAS Raffle 2014 by K-nut16, on Flickr All I want this year is some special bonding time with some of my younger relatives. Though things will be broken (that's a given with nosy kids ), there's no bonding experience like (re)construction. Pretty last minute attempt, but it's better than nothing. Thanks again to CopMike for hosting!
  24. "We should head to the Temple of Ennoc. It's where our friend Mr Mando was attacked. I received similar information about it,"
  25. "Very well then," He walks out of the office, searching for Dr Cula, without so much as a thank you. He returns to the office where he first entered. Assuming he's still there, Althior asks where he could find the leftover ingredients OoC: I've updated my statisitcs page since I no longer have the Cloak of the Elven Necromancer or the Rat Queen's Hide since there was an error in the marketplace thread. I added the gold from those accordingly.
