Keeping his head down, Althior purchases a Shark's Hand, then makes his way to a quiet area to sort his cards.

But I feel like visible hands defeat the whole purpose of the game. I'm guessing Sandy has thought all of this through (and if not, it can be solved pretty easily). It saves us a lot of questioning. Also, I don't know if this has been addressed anywhere, but say my opponent plays a Plant 4 and I play a Plant 6, gaining their Plant 4. Would I theoretically be able to play that card within the same match?
-
I'm saying that the NPC will probably pick their hand first, avoiding the subconscious choice that Flipz is referencing. Sandy picks the five cards in the NPCs hand before the Hero does theirs, therefore avoiding using the knowledge of the players hand into the decision of what cards to use for the match. But yes, then there's the problem of knowing both hands at once. It shouldn't matter, though. If the NPC starts, then they don't know what their opponent will play on top of them. If the PC starts, then they would end up playing a trumping or higher card anyways to take their opponents care. Either way, all cards get played against each other, albeit in a different order. As long as the NPCs pick their cards first, it should be fine, right?... Damn this is confusing. We just trusted Jeb to be honest when we did this in Quest #100 and he kept his deck secret.

I'm guessing that the five cards the NPCs use will be pre-selected, no matter who they're going up against. Everyone, even NPCs, have their own strategies.
-
I'm guessing Sandy will run it like a battle (being in charge of it that is). Especially since round 1 is all against NPCs apparently.

Not in their opponents deck. In 100 I don't think Nur knew what cards Auntie Cinnabar had. They'll just need to select five from their deck I think.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
K-Nut replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
If it gets me a purple Hakweye, I'm sold. I feel like doing a lone Avengers Assemble set in the middle of a full wave of AoU sets would be confusing, though, with the vastly different variations of the figures (AA Thor vs AoU Thor, for example). -
You could potentially tie with it, but unless it's given to you, I don't think there's any way of getting one seeing as you can't win it off of an opponent.

It's a very, very nice set. I'm not one to pick up lots of sets in a theme, so I usually stick to the unique looking ones. I managed to find one for a reasonable price from a few towns over from where I live on eBay. Managed to pay a little less than retail for it actually (89.99 USD with 14.99 shipping), so I'm very happy about it. I've always really liked the set too. I really enjoy the unique design it has. We don't end up with many hangars these days, let alone with a control room on the side.

Heroica RPG - Quest #116: The Tale of Two Faces

"Very well then," Althior clenches his wounded side and trudges behind Blitze. "This had better be worth it," -

Althior leans into Hoke. "How do we know he's not stalling? Taking our attention off the real matter at hand?" He turns back to the Alchemist. "Can you get started on your own? We'll need to get some of our men back on their feet before diverting our attention." -
I'm guessing our best bet for Suicide as quad characters would be a summer wave this year or next year. I feel like the winter wave of next year will be BvS sets since the film is released in March.

You have absolutely no idea how hard I face-palmed at that. I think WBD had the Wolfgang show up with it once I got KO'd just to continue the tradition.

Finally was able to get myself a copy of the Home One Mon Calamari set from a few years back. Also picked up Vardy's Ice Vulture Glider for a quick build.
-
That's what I got. Was I supposed to get something different?

Heroica RPG - Quest #116: The Tale of Two Faces
K-Nut replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
"Really? I don't think you had any idea. You would've allowed a hundred more attacks before you got anywhere close to solving the problem. That may be alright with you, Blitze, but in no world is that alright with me," -

"If that is what is necessary then yes!" He shouts at the Alchemist. He turns his attention back to the battle. "Personal interests get in the way of bigger things, Blitze. Would you let your daughter kill countless people? Or would you put her out of her misery now?" -

Althior is thrown back, crashing violently against a local shop. He picks himself back up, blood trickling down his face. He gasps for air, now with his lungs having sustained substantial damage from the beast. He glares toward the Alchemist. "You had your chance to reason with us. All you did was piss off the girl and turn her into this! How many people are you going to let her kill, Blitze?" -
Heroica RPG - Quest #116: The Tale of Two Faces

Althior stands up, slowly, coughing crimson blood into his white glove. He looks at the Monster, then the Wolfgang, then the Wereleopard. He quickly tosses Hoke a remedy. -
Finally, finally, was able to purchase a sealed copy of Home One. Very nice design and minifigures that have held up over the years.

Especially when you're supposed to be Knocked Out...

I think they're talking about the one from the 2014 Wave. If anyone hasn't noticed this for themselves, the Series 13 Goblin headgear is about as close as we'll get to get to a classic Green Goblin option.

Althior rolls his eyes, "Do them one favor and they'll never let you go. Damn Ulric trying to run the city," He attempts to revive Ecrub while the Asp repeats. If revived, Ecrub is instructed to repeat his action.
