You can call me Ole No, that just means the rest we're really crappy, haha That divers theme sounds decent, but I'm sure it won't hold a candle to Aquanauts! Sets are getting rather expensive (Jurassic World + SW) again .. Yeah, i'll wait until I see that truck in the flesh, but for now I think it looks rather drab .. cranearm looks boss though, best one TLG ever did.

He is a wizard. All earthly explanations are futile. We mortal men should not think about such things, only obey our master ..
-
And why would you do that? LAs don't have the stroke anyway I guess they intially will hit the 30-40EUR mark
-
Then they'd need to be inside the truck body. And it's not likely TLG are gonna do them in black (no red parts sticking out that I can see), so I guess the outriggers will be very conventional (and I very much dislike that hand operation of the final stage of the outriggers)

Ahh, that DACTA guy is an eyesore But I'm still gona shell out that 280EUR to brasletty sometime in the future as I'm a sucker, sigh (Need moar panels, arghh)

Lego classic town and space minifig questions
1974 replied to Chris1594's topic in General LEGO Discussion
No pics, not moderated yet Reissue 'vintage' spacefigs have the wrong helmet, easy to ckeck -
Thanks fro the info Shawn 2,5k for one minifig? <1974's head explodes> I have all Classic Space figs + Blacktron + Futuron, but hen again, that's only nine, so not that hard to keep track on

No, it's clearly visible on the last section of the truck's crane arm (red piece), but if it's just one panel, similar to this : Or made out of several new panels/liftarm type of thing, is unclear I think the crawler crane's lattice boom is going to be just like what we see on that pic = 1207 pins, 642 axles, 48 panels and .. you know the drill Well, nothing to see, just something to read

Want to make non-LEGO LEDs
1974 replied to aminnich's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Diode not needed, unless you want to continuously apply voltage the wrong way for eons of time I would advice a resistor for each LED, yes You can also get flashing LEDs btw, but hey have internal circutry and need 5-12V (depending on type) -
Mercedes logo is printed on a boatstud, great for 8110 owners! First boatstud print? Man, I'm gonna get loads of that truck and flog the useless parts of BL Free pneumatics + profit = ca-ching!! I don't there's six 15L liftarms? 5 max. But with the extra lattice part on the hook shown on the box + crane body, yeah it *might* be one meter, but that's a rather poor way of measuring it and wouldn't fly in the real world at all
-
And he reports a new panel/"boom piece" sorta thing on the crane arm. Looks very specialized (that's the cool version of <insert that tiresome argument>, btw) Hey, pretty crappy that EB won't allow that word ; juni0rized Are there any Jack Stone reviews here?

Want to make non-LEGO LEDs
1974 replied to aminnich's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
What country are you in? It would not be hard for me to find links if you're shopping at one of the large outfits (Farnell, Conrad, Digikey etc) But it's really basic stuff, 500-1k resistors, 5mm white/red LEDs, some thin wire and heatshrink. Not rocket surgery -
Looks a bit like the last helicopter ... and that white one looks like the last plane It's probably going to be a sub 300 piece 15cm mini model
-
If all those hoses are not sitting exactly right, it's not gonna work well (especially the slewing) and you can't really make that out in the instructions as such. I'm confident it's one of the most "I've build it, but now I must take it apart and try again to make it actually work" sets, followed closely by 8043, 42009 and maybe 8110 (if help threads are to go by here) Anyway, the most challenging MOCs are the ones I haven't build yet 'cause I can't figure out how to put my ideas into bricks Cheers, Ole
-
Btw, what about the other sets of 2h2015? What are they? What ya all think will be the going price for the new pneumatics? (<-- that sounds odd!) I think I'm gonna buy a few trucks and part them out, keep the actuators and dump the rest @ BL
-
But that would have made it quite similar to the 42009. It's just a regular lattice boom which is nice

LEGO M Motor

I think you're right about that (the supply chain, not inter motoric sex)
