  1. The vast majority of kids wanting a sail barge, the look won't be crucial, the PLAYVALUE (<--hello TLG, remember that you're a toy company, not making vanity objects for rich adults?!) is MUCH more important, same thing with the SD ... so yeah, a step back imho Same thing with that brown tank thing full of droids. Sandcrawler, much better
  2. Yes, I don't understand why a search function and indexing don't have higher priority? Rather more important than fancy banners matching the season
  3. It's something you have to live with. It's due to the fact that TLG now uses clear (milkywhite actually) pellets and injects the dye during molding. This seems to be a rather difficult process for one of the most advanced plastic manufacturer in the world There's a rather long thread about it, lemme see if I can dig it up Edit : Here it is : http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=30439 Cheers, Ole
  4. Of course, back when trains actually mattered to TLG, we had everything Part 812, Train Level Crossing Center Rail Cap Insert 2 x 14 x 2/3 Which fittet into this : Part 813, Train Level Crossing Base Edit : These parts no not fit with PF btw, it was just a history lesson Cheers, Ole
  5. Fixed! Sorry 'bout that
  6. Hmm, I thought I fixed that? Please give me a link to said thread, thanx
  7. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2983
  8. Certainly hope not! TLG's own colour names are weird and feel very retro active (I'm positive that the colournames where red, blue, yellow, white, black and such in 60-80's, not what they call them now) I guess BL have allways been carefull not to rub TLG the wrong way, but making a deal with CUUSOO maybe won't fly too well in Billund. Starting to sell 'sets' certainly doesn't as far as I've been told Don't like this direction BL is going either. Wouldn't be too surprised if there will be 'other building brands' (aka asian copy crap) for sale there soon, This IP stuff is soo 1999 anyway
  9. It shares some features yes, but it's the same as that green dood I like the three studs on this fella
  10. A MOC of Pripyat would be cool too
  11. Future, so uncertain it is Cheers, Ole
  12. That's actually a leaked conficential photo there, buddy .. Yup, it's that PF replacement system, rocketpowered ftw!
  13. This should change in the future though. In 2012 they started a pilot project where they mold an entire bag's worth parts in the same colour and bag right at the machine, so no more logistical nightmare of picking stored parts and weighing them at the end That should give zero errors Has anyone seen bags like that? I don't buy new sets so I haven't seen them
  14. 3677 was not "junior-ized" It was s standard City train of that era and actually more detalied than either 7939 (that horrible 4 Junior's windscreen, argh!), the 7938 (pretty much NO detailing at all) or the two 2006 IR/RC trains preceeding them Creator trains are different
  15. Local ads, there's loads of bargains to made
  16. Your name and signature certainly suggest otherwise
  17. Phoxtane, I really don't think TLG went with the new (at the time) anti freeze colours because of those theories. They we're just bored with old trans yellow It's also interesting that two different kinds of plastic have been used for those trans-neon parts : Faefrost, I've been told my parts are indeed mostly proper productionparts that for some reason just never made it into sets Dagsbricks, parts are owned by me and my son and I think he'll outlast the both of us
  18. Do you have the pulley for the micromotor? You can damage it if you stall it without that. And they do cost a pretty penny
  19. Seriously, how many of these threads do we need? I know EB's search function is useless, but Google is not Here's the first 3000 hits : https://www.google.dk/#q=site:eurobricks.com+9v Cheers
  20. 9V = 100% totally and utterly dead. Molds are right next to the monorail molds under the parking lot. If you want 9V, stock up now! PF is here for good (and yes, it's evolving, nice stuff will come soon, allthough TLG is loosing the battle to 3rd party suppliers) I've heard of NO new train parts though Cheers, Ole (<-- 9V/12V man only, PF sucks imho)
  21. BL should read up on IP (that'll be the english version, not the chineese). This is not going to end well and I _really_ wish that BL would concentrate on fixing the core business instead of all these silly ventures .. sigh
  22. What? An honest answer from one of those so-called crowdfunded microbusinesses? I'm sorry Mike, that's not how it goes .. you're supposed to give us a good run around for at least six months and then dissapear off with the money to some secret Caribbean island Yes, as ME Models is slightly smaller than TLG, their manufacturer is most probably not. So _loads_ of parts have to be ordered and more importantly, they have to be sold, hence eBay While the product is not for me, I wish ME godspeed on their endeavour Cheers, Ole (who lost loads of money on another crowdfonding project, arghh!)
  23. If TLG reveals major points of the new movies to come, I'll have to quote Owen Lars : "there'll be hell to pay" (Because I know a similar thing actually happened in '99 with a certain leaked video) So NO TLG spoliers for SW7, that IP is just to valuable for TLG (and Disney too)
  24. There, fix it for ya
