    Olive green color does look better than the way they described it. If you focus just on the color, it kinda gives a haunted mansion vibes. At least the Parisian restaurant had other color highlights to break the drab olive. I do think it came out nice, but not as grand as I had hoped it would be. This isn’t as imposing as the hotel, despite its size. Jazz Club was the worst in recent times, just my opinion. JC looked like an afterthought. Good one!

    So it seems that Disney is ditching their original plan of casting seven magical creatures, and instead will move forward with the remake with seven CGI dwarves based upon one real life little person. I am really really hoping that this Lego set will be from the cartoon and not this remake.

    That movie has had so much controversy already even before its release. Lego might as well just release the Snow White Cottage with the Seven Dwarves ahead of the movie featuring the seven magical creatures. But if they do delay this set, Lego ought to give us Beauty and the Beast in the meantime. Long time missing.

    It has been a vehicle for at least the last two… What could go well with a museum? Cotton candy cart (for the side garden)? Forklift for hauling boxes of dinosaur bones? A Jeep/ SUV (reference to Jurassic Park)? An alien spaceship/ saucer to go with the Space exhibit?

    How long before they typically re-list the out of stock items? someone posted on a different thread about some new animal molds being available but it went non-orderable in a matter of hours! The new Viking minifigs have nice printed legs so I can’t imagine these not being popular.

    Agree - Lego needs to give DC some love. How many years did it take them to hear the yearning for some X-men sets/ minifigs? Maybe in a couple years we will get another non-Batman DC item...

    I have no inside information but this (AI) image fits the descriptions, and the predominantly green color looks a bit...unconventional, to put it lightly.

    A thought just occurred to me… which minifig animal costume hasn’t made it into being made into an animal? I’m only referring to the minifigs in an animal costume, but not humanoid animal minifigs. giraffe llama fox panda

    I feel these three are far more interesting and usable rather than the just released ones... mermaid/merman tail with jean stitching?!?!

    They could probably include a baby llama... then there is an excuse for them to make a mama or papa llama included in a later set. Case in point, turtle.

    The other reason I could think of why they might release this in December is that there is a big/ expensive item from another theme releasing in January? Just my random guess. If they were going to release two Modulars, why so close to each other?

    I would not mind a second modular at all!!! I feel that the modular line could form several "streets" with certain groupings of the modulars together. For example, Corner Garage and Downtown Diner could go together. AS and Detective's go well together as well. Green Grocer, Pet Shop, Book Shop and Brick Bank form a street for me. I feel the Town hall and Fire Brigade somehow clash. Parisian Restaurant seems to be in a street all its own. LOL Never understood why they thought the Bugle would threaten a printing press modular.

    So it seems they release about 2-3 new characters each year? Who might be next? Which characters are popular enough to be featured by Lego.

    Not really a player of the game, but I do plan on collecting all of these minifigs!

    I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for minifig parts that could be put together for a custom Viking seer/wizard/witch? I am expanding the Viking Village and thought this character might be an interesting add. Thanks for any suggestions!

    Hmm, maybe a different color this time? You can complete a purple space fig with parts out there. OTOH, we are yet to see a formal light bluish gray air tanks. The one out there is the old light gray. It would be nice if Lego comes up with a bright light blue spaceman once and for all.

    Ooh, yes! I would vote for a bigfig Venom rather than venomizing just about everyone in the Marvel universe.

    There's that nice Moana set, too but we got her in that small anniversary train anyway. And how about the Princess battle pack with duplicates of so many minifig releases? Really baffles me why Beauty and the Beast has not been in the minifig realm - they've already had brickheadz and princess/ minidolls galore, but no minifig?
