  1. That flamethrower buggy is pretty funny. The sets don't interest me much, other than some minifigures (I don't like Mandarin or the Mark 42, but otherwise... ). It is good to see a woman rescuing a man for once in one of these sets though!
  2. That was a (very good) custom, not an official minifigure.
  3. I don't really like the suit, but a new set of expressions is welcome! Again though, I wish that Batman and Robin could get them too.
  4. I think that the upper half of the mech is ugly, but I still like it. Not as much as the Samurai mech or others we have seen in recent years, but it is very unique and has great looking figures. It fails at the legs though, but I think that they are posed incorrectly and that they will look better proper.
  5. I actually like this Superman figure, it really does justice to the movie version by making it look better than it actually is, at least in my opinion. I am also excited for a new expression, if only Batman and Robin could get them. Zod looks even better, though I am not so sure about the face, I think is mouth should be just a little less wide. The set itself does not look bad, but I have to agree with Clone O'Patra. I wish that the rear of the car had a bit more detailing on the top, at lest some plates, but for the price point, it is still pretty good. The rubble has some good parts too, like the lattice tower (actually, that is mostly it besides the slopes). I do hope that the IM3 and other Superman sets are more interesting, and this does help me get excited for them. I just hope LEGO is not showing off the one it is proudest of first again.
  6. The Clark minifigure looks interesting, but I actually don't like it. I might still make an attempt to get it if prices are low enough on Bricklink (but I doubt that). I actually do really like that Iron Man figure. I am not overly fond of the chin, but I like the deeper blue and the way it works with the red and gold. Now I wonder why War Machine does not have red eyes though, I hope that will change. I am a Brickipedia administrator (not particularly proud of it either) and no, that does not count for anything. We get people coming on all the time and making good faith edits, but assume too much. The staff and editors are all volunteers (as I am sure you probably guessed) and are often on only when they don't have anything better to do, so these can go missed for a while. Usually we don't know anything before you do, so that would be a good thing to keep in mind while browsing.
  7. If I remember correctly (and I am pretty sure I do) the Nuremburg toyfair didn't allow pictures last year, so we might have to wait until NY in February.
  8. I'll probably get that Black Zero set for Lois and Zod, maybe the Smallville set if it is decent. I'm still waiting for pictures for Iron Man, though.
  9. I am not so fond of that mane, it seems too tall and static, though it is stone, but otherwise I think that it looks great. I am still waiting to see the Croc lair though. Also, I haven't seen anybody mention it, but it seems we are getting a Fox tribe too, one of the members being Furty. (That is fun to say. ) According to Brickset, Crawley (I think) is included rather than Crunket. However, they also said Eris instead of Ewald (or is it Ewar? The names are too similar for me.), so I am hoping there is a mistake somewhere. As for Laval and Cragger, this isn't the whole set, only the temple's exterior. There should be a Croc vehicle included too.
  10. I am pretty happy with those minifigure line ups and prices, myself. I will still wait to see the sets before I make up my mind on getting any though. Did anyone else notice than on Brickfantatics' report, the Batman boardgame includes a Batgirl microfigure? I am pretty excited for that, ( ) especially if it is foreshadowing a full-out minifigure in 2014! (The Harry Potter game gives me doubts though, but I guess that the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students weren't actual characters.... )
  11. Just a few assorted figures inspired by cartoons and such here. I think that most of these are iconic enough that I don't need to introduce them.
  12. Wonderful work, Pengy. I am absolutely in love with Egghead's henchmen and Starro. Could you take an image of the whole Justice League together now, please?
  13. I think that if any exclusive figure from Arkham were to be rereleased, it would be Scarecrow. I would hold off on him until at least next year.
  14. I'm still not seeing the differences between black Spidey and Venom's torsos, myself. I do agree that if they did release Jean in a mainstream set, that she would probably be in a different costume, as that minifigure seems pretty spot-on.
  15. That figure looks very good, better than the Iron Man figure, I think (which I still need to get). The grays, silver, and red just looks much cooler, in my opinion. I still hope that he has his shoulder-mounted gun though, hopefully it will help with the bulk problem I still have. Well, I may actually have to buy an IM3 set now and not just hope that that Fighting Drone polybag comes my way.
  16. If I recall correctly, her mutation in the DCAU was not as extreme as the comics, if it existed at all, so I don't think she needed a special cell to survive or function normally. I actually prefer her that way myself, and will probably mod out the greenhouse cell for another standard one, or maybe two.
  17. The Tumbler vs. Bat set is back up on LEGO.com, for the US at least.
  18. I can't really name a favorite or least favorite design wise, as I justify things too easily, but I think that Squidward's original variation is probably the worst, due to the lack of a head mold and drastic color changes from the television version. As someone who designs figures for a hobby, I think that for a good design, not just detailing, a figure has to go above and beyond the source material which few licensed figures have done successfully. Some minifigures can be beautifully designed, but be based on something ugly (most Clone Wars figures fall under this). It is hard for me to name one figure as my favorite, even from just a genre (if you could consider licensed that), but I think I have to choose this year's version of The Joker. I am normally really picky about what he looks like, not that he ever changes much, but this figure not only satisfies me but has wonderful coloring, detailing, and doesn't feel too tied down to any one depiction. Last I heard, LEGO does not consider removing minifigure hands, arms, or legs, from the torso/hips "legal" since there is a risk of cracking or damaging, so it is unlikely that would happen. There are still a few solutions to characters with claws, the more obvious would be a new hand mold, but I would prefer that they still hold it, but the bar be turned sideways (kind of like on some shields) so the hand and claws would at least be positioned more realistically and be removable.
  19. I am absolutely in love with this even though I absolutely hate the figure it was based on . Beautiful job, Hammerstein.
  20. I have been away from Eurobricks for a while (computer problems, other projects, and then I just got out of the habit of checking) but I do have some more figures to post when I get the time. Thank you! I see that the gorilla mask is on LDD now, but I am happy enough to leave him the way he is. Those cartoony eyes are not something I get to do often with these characters. I would probably be fine with that, but I would like to discuss a few small details (don't worry, I wouldn't want any of the 1% ), but I don't think you have PM enabled until ten posts. Could you contact me when you get there, please? Thank you, sir! And good luck, I hope you will share them here at EB so I can see them.
  21. Is this what you are referring to?
  22. Eh, looking over my thoughts, my logic was really bad. I'm still not sure about Christine, but my theory was way out there... Did I only vote yesterday? On Day 1 I voted for Jean On Day 2 I voted for Zachary and then changed my vote to Isaac ( ) I did not vote on Day 3 at all, but nobody else did either, except for Adam. I tried to vote for Adam yesterday (Day 4), but made a small mistake so it didn't count.
  23. Ah...coffee and sausage. Wait? Two townies? There goes my appetite... I always have room for more coffee though! I know that you didn't ask me, but I'm sure you would still like to hear from me. Yes, I know I made a mistake by not voting for Zack and I have regretted it ever since. I was honestly fooled by Amelia that while Zack was being unhelpful, you were being confusing. You have cleaned up your act though, and while I regret what I did that day, I am very happy with the way it went. Though I agree that the person with the lightsaber is the scum killer, I do think that the vig is dead. It is possible that he (or she) has been trying to be careful, but I hope not. A big part of this game situation is risks. Mr. (or Mrs.) Vig, if you are still alive, please, please claim to someone you trust. You could be much more important than you realize. And if you are dead, may you rest in peace. Anyway, Kendra has inspired me to try and make more use of myself. Though I'm sure I won't be as great as she was, she is a wonderful role-model (may you rest in piece, Kendra!). While you do have a point about Christine, Isaac, she is still on my suspect list. She did vote for Zach on days one and two, but as Kendra pointed out, Amelia did too. Amelia was on suspect lists, and while looking back quickly I don't think Christine was, Zach was a very weak scum. He practically lynched himself. I am sure that Amelia was trying to throw off her scumminess by voting for her partner, and why shouldn't Christine have before she was scrutinized later? Zack was going to get himself lynched eventually. If it wasn't day two, it probably would have been day three. Amelia defended him, but maybe she thought that she could justify her attacks on Isaac the next day that he was confusing us. I'm sure it wouldn't have worked, and two scum for a shaky position for one is not a good deal, but maybe her plan didn't work the way it was supposed too. Either way, Christine is still a suspect of mine despite voting for Zach.
  24. That new image really make's me appreciate Fury's car more. Not much more to see in the Batboat set though, but it is still a better image I think.
