  1. Another really good design, Mr. Ottens, but please explain to me how you are going to figure this gap and that flappy piece out
  2. The easiest way to do this is probably using flex axles with 1 stud offsets, but I have never tried this before.
  3. Wow! Like the way this is going. All I can say is to cover the towballs attached to the live axles. If you cover them on both sides appropriately, then they won't pop out, especially since this thing looks big and heavy.
  4. Used, New? Anhyhow, that's a great deal!
  5. In my experience if you're struggling on any project just start an either completely bonkers or impossible side project. There are two ways I have experienced this going: either you manage to make this side project, or you realize how futile it is and come back to your main project with a new urge to complete it. This has worked for me, as it helps sometimes taking a break from a model. For example, I have taken a break from building my MC20 and have started a simple rc truck. Try and see if this works. Otherwise, good luck on the raptor project and all the other BuWizz stuff!
  6. How did you get the offset between those curved 1x1 tiles?
  7. Wow that's a serious investment! I got slightly worried when you said you 'recycled' the Bugatti though, I was imaging somebody dumping a big box of blue parts into a recycling bin...
  8. Although I might be late to this discussion, I think that TLG shouldn't really bother with trying to file lawsuits against poor MOC builders. In my opinion, MOCs are a subtle form of advertising for TLG, if you may. And, wie Gimmick gesagt hat, wird es jetzt schwieriger, fuer die Chinesischen Firmen Ideen illegal zu kopieren. I think that this was all for the better - but get your CaDA supercar before they collapse under the heaps of lawsuits that TLG will pile on them.
  9. Any chance we can get a picture of the engine bay?
  10. I like that! Especially the usage of those round 2x2 bricks in the rotating thingy. The fan blades look great aswell.
  11. Great review. Although I rarely buy displayable sets, this might be one exception...
  12. I think there must be more than 178 pieces, surely...
  13. Nice! Really look forward to seeing those beauties in action!
  14. Although I am aware that we're going off topic here, it's a must-watch. I won't spoil anything though!
  15. Any similarities to Joshua from War Games?
  16. Sometimes modularity can help redesigning a model, but also increasing strength in a chassis. If the different sections fit together very well then it might help making a MOC asap (as sturdy as possible). I can understand that this form of modularity is sometimes hard to achieve, so it's perceived that modularity makes a model more flexible. Again, it depends on the builder and the time they want to spend trying to get perfect modularity.
  17. I like where this is going! I can see the overall shape of the harvester coming together. Very nice recreation of that "y" shaped transition from green to white.
  18. Has anybody got any prototypes ore builds for adjustable independent double-wishbone suspension? I have a setup currently using a worm gear plus an 8-tooth gear. The worm gear tends to move along the axle about a millimeter due to its shorter-than-2-studs length. Has anybody gotten around this? I don't have space to use LAs, by the way.
