Hey I like your avatar! They can reuse Legolas' hairpiece just as they did with Tauriel, because in the end Tauriel has wavy hair too and they gave her straight hair... and both of them wear similar braided hair in the movies... but in the council of Elrond scene, Arwen has completely different hair (She wears her wavy hair down) And I think the ponytail they used for her in the prelim is an indicator of a new hairpiece, because they could've just painted Legolas' hair in brown, aye?

Well, last year I could only get a Batman set, some collectible minifigures, and some stuff from Bricklink... and that's all! LEGO in Mexico is expensive, we don't have all the sets and most of the time they don't restock (at least in my city). The sets I had on my wishlist were: 1. Shelob attacks 2. Escape from the Mirkwood spiders 3. Haunted house 4. Town hall 5. Grand Emporium 6. Bag end 7. A friends set, probably the café. 8. And the minifigs series 8 & 9 But the friends sets, and probably the LotR/Hobbit sets are gone (Minifigs always arrive here for basically the same price) It's incredible how LEGO being an expensive toy sells like hotcakes. And for 2013... 1. Pick up everything I wanted from 2012 if it's still there. 2. The iron man Malibu mansion sounds promising, I'll likely get it. 3. 2-3 sets from the Lone ranger, probably the Colby city set, the stagecoach and some other set, maybe the indian camp. 4. Arkham Asylum 5. Council of Elrond and the Wizard battle. 6. Man of steel sets. I KNOW they will be great 7. Jabba's sail barge. I don't have the previous version and I'm sure the minifigs will be great re-designs 8. Lots of minifigs from Bricklink, a harry Potter set from a mexican auction site and some PAB cups I have faith! I know I'll come out of the LEGO store with lots of bags (By the way LEGO said all of my VIP points from 2010 would expire in Dec. 31 )

Here's the original picture: I do believe it is going to be an exclusive set like Fives pointed, I just hope it isn't that expensive Just in case it really happens.

A user uploaded an image on Brickipedia. It's a custom but it looks great! Maybe if he gets made he won't look that different from this. Sorry if it's been posted already

Pete Corp from Flickr made an interesting custom slave Leia a few years ago:

If Rebo is really going to be made then I can't wait to see him! You're right about the face, now that you say that the face was likely intended for Leia she definitely looks like her to me. But I DO think they will redesign the body, who knows, probably she is going to have printed arms, the strips below the bra, printed shoes, etc. And maybe actually a new hairpiece with the ornament, LEGO tend to surprise us even when there's a reusable piece, you know.

I saw the Hobbit movie a few days ago. The Attack of the Mirkwood spiders and escape from the barrels scenes never happened in the movie I just checked and I think they belong to the 2013 movie? If so, why did they release them in the 2012 line?

I wonder what improvements can slave Leia get... completely new hairpiece, skirt cloth and hopefully a new face... not Tamina's face.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I think I might find the sets I want, since they're mostly modular. I hope the Houston LEGO store isn't that bad!

I'm probably going on a trip to Houston, TX and I wanted to know if the stores in the USA, in general, are out of stock in LEGO sets. I live in Mexico so I want to know if it's worth to travel right now... I know that with the holiday shopping many things are out of stock already, but If I go next year I'm afraid that some sets will no longer be in stores anymore. Are the LEGO stores and supermarkets THAT empty? Thank you!

I love Santa's face. Wishing a merry Christmas to everyone!

I was going to pick up the mirkwood spiders set at the shopping center but it was gone and they don't restock. I hate you Mexico.

Johnny Depp and Helena now officially have their 2nd LEGO minifigure It's amazing how movie directors love them acting together. The sets look great, if I had enough money I'd buy all of them!

REVIEW: 71000 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 9
Brickity replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This is by far my favorite series! The only ones I don't like are the heroic knight and the plumber: I see nothing special on the knight and the plumber fits more into regular city sets, not CMF's. At first I got disappointed with the maiden's hair, because from the front it looked a bit sloppy but I'm getting fond of it. I love the waiter's "plastic" bottle with a picture of grapes on it And the hollywood starlet is my favorite female fig so far!- 171 replies

Or perhaps we're getting a Galadriel minifigure after all? Can anyone tell if the piece the waiter is holding with his left hand is new? -

Elizabeth Swann's hair in blonde looks great! The plumber and cop look disappointing from the back. -

I wonder if that hair mold is the one Dolores Umbridge used? The ends on this one look more fluffy though -

I think Medusa would look better with her hair in a different color, and I'm pretty sure she's going to have some sort of long ripped skirt cloth (kinda...)- 1,076 replies

I have a feeling we'll be seeing pictures this week or next. -
Wow the bag end set is quite expensive, I'm not sure if I'll get it now Also, the box art makes the mirkwood spiders set look so much better, but when you build the set alone it looks so empty and lacking of something. Maybe the trees could've been a little bigger? Or the spiders a little better designed..

Uh.. if it's castle then I hope they do something completely different tnan what they've done. Maybe gothic? irish? indian? There are so many options.
