Of course, that's my opinion... and we're all different. -

My thoughts: Alien Trooper: I can't help it but think about another fugly Space police/Alien conquest minifig. Chicken Suit Guy: I wonder how the body and legs will be, or maybe the minifig is just going to have the chicken head. Maid Marion: I'm thinking of 3 possibilities... the pink girl from Robin hood, a female elf as someone said earlier (Maybe her style looked a little "wooded", so that's enough to call her a maid marian) Or the girl in blue at the bottom (Her clothes seem very similar to a maid marian) http://farm8.staticf...30d445f43_b.jpg Heroic Knight: I'm thinking Knight's Kingdom style (the blue knight, don't remember his name) Cyclops: This one will be one interesting minifig. I don't know why I'm imagining it with Aurra Sing's hairpiece Mermaid: Since we already have some mermaids out there, I bet this one will be completely different with a new hairpiece. A very feminine one comes to mind, like Ariel maybe. Fortune Teller: That's right, Jack Sparrow's hair. Maybe she will look a little bit like Ann Lee from monster fighters? Dr. Splitz: No idea what this was until I googled it. A simian I guess... Roller Derby Girl: a diner waitress from the 50's? Maybe the person who translated it wanted to call her roller derby girl... since she has roller skates as well. Judge: Olivia's hair in grey Battle Mech: No comment Caesar: Frodo's hairpiece I guess? Downtown Cop: Maybe this one will be a girl? Cause the last cop we had was male. Plumber: I don't see a good future in this guy I think he's going to be as bad as the deep sea diver and the butcher. Waiter: Elegant waiter with moustache with Lupin's hairpiece in black Hollywood Starlet: First I thought about an actress in pink with a fur shawl, I don't know why. But I'm sure this is going to be Marilyn Monroe (Alexandre Boudon's drawings) -
For some reason the sets under each theme didn't appear (Even browsing in the "normal" section) They do now, thanks
-
I was trying to check the prices of the sets on Toysrus.com but... what happened to LEGO? At least 50% of the sets aren't listed anymore
-
Eh... this is just not my cup of tea, I really don't like anything about this theme. Maybe some minifig parts can be useful, but nothing more.
-
That Tauriel face looks more like Arwen (just without the freckles)
-
New hairpiece! These sets are much better than the ones released in summer IMO. Does the last set include EVERYTHING shown in the box art? If so, I must get it!
-
Dazzling! Like commented above, the camera movements are amazing.. such a smooth animation (not to mention the lights! ). One thing I'm wondering though, is how did you deal with this song being copyrighted?
-
I had always wanted this set as a little boy back in 2003 (after acquiring the bridge set, and seeing this one on the back of the instructions) It looks really playable, plus it recreates the scene really well. My only complain is Norman's head, it looks horribly printed.. like if someone had drawn his face with a sharpie. I'm saying this because I also got that head in the same state with another set.
-
Wow, I'm speechless But I wouldn't pay £25,000 considering there is a lot of stuff I don't like. I always like to pay for things that I REALLY want.
-
Oh yeah! I don't get to notice some things until I'm told about it. Thanks The halloween set seems to include very good pieces! Spines The lightning bolts on the rocker girl's torso should've been silver
-
I don't know what to think... the halloween set seems okay, but the rock one seems too cheap and strange, specially the rocker chick's recolor. Also, what's that white thing surrounding the punk's mohawk?

Hmm something tells me that the upcoming Galadriel minifig is going to be significantly different than this one, here's why: 1. The actual Galadriel minifig probably hasn't been finished yet (still in prototype process?) Or maybe she was designed after the videogame version of her. 2. In LEGO videogames, when they design minifigs that haven't been previously done in real life, they're usually too simple or they just have the most symbolic things of the characters (Their faces are usually the most simple thing, most of the time they don't even look a little bit like the character, only their hair and clothes) So, probably this game was finished some time ago when they had zero designs for the plastic Galadriel minifig. I hope you guys get my point, hahaha.

What do you do with LEGO set boxes?
Brickity replied to Robominer's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I used to keep them, but they occupy too much space. I literally feel like I'm storing trash... of course, there can be some exceptions. -
I know right? The price on the other hand... Especially in Liverpool, they always have an amazing stock of them but the prices are scary. I can't wait to see at least one more set. If the sets are going to be released in December, then I think we should expect pictures around the end of August?

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Brickity replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm getting fonder of these, it would've been nice if Santa had printed boots though. I saw the back part of the cowgirl's hat, and it made me wish we could get the hairpiece alone with no hat The minifigs I dislike the most are the businessman and the cheerleader, I don't even feel like buying them just for the "useful parts" part. -
Why isn't it listed in stores.lego.com anyway? It seems really strange there's one in Guatemala and not even a "fake" LEGO store in Mexico
-
I really can't wait to see the other dwarves! Why did'nt we get clear pictures of the other two though? They were there at the Comic-con. I just noticed we haven't seen any of the females, I hope we get Tauriel at least, I see a really interesting hairpiece.

Why is there a hole in the center of the rancor pit?

Thanks for the pics Bizzy! The actor and the cowgirl seem to be my favorite minifigs! They're both amazing. I also like the football player, too bad the fairy's skirt is green -

I'm not that fond of the Conquistador, probably because there's a similar minifigure (The gold knight from Drawbridge defense) I do like his legs though -

Can someone please explain me where the alien's mouth is? I don't understand her face, all I see is a green pug. The DJ, I like him but I'm not that excited.. maybe something printed on his hair would've been nice... probably green highlights? (That makes the hairpiece less usable though) His headphones are awesome either way! Also.. Is the fairy's skirt actually a transparent blue or just green? In her stand she has that green skirt, but in the "graduation" picture it looks transparent to me... maybe the green is a prototype? Makes sense doesn't it? That's exactly what I thought! Actually, if she had a better face print (Probably winking would've been nice!) I wouldn't mind the boring outfit, but she has that huge grin Alas poor yorick! -
What Happens to the Comic Con Stuff?

My guess is that someone that worked in that gets to keep the things he want?
