I'd love to see Maleficent, Jafar and probably Medusa I was thinking... maybe LEGO can make a line based on the videogame "Kingdom hearts"? I think it's a good excuse to make the whole thing boy-oriented this time.
-
I just really wish we could see villians. They make the whole thing exciting. Come on LEGO! The Disney sets are finally here! Don't miss the boat! You know... I'm okay if they don't put villians in these sets, but then they SHOULD create a line with more accurate colors and with the villians too! These sets are already too "cute"

I like the idea of these new agents being more "colorful"! We still need to see higher quality pictures of some of the characters. "Infearno" Dr. Inferno reloaded or what?

Does anyone else live in fear... (of new sets missing pieces)
Brickity replied to Farmer Harv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yes it happens to me most of time when building a set, I get that little fear. But it doesn't affect me to a point that I live in fear :p -
Haha why for my dad? I did that because I didn't want to go into the whole discussion of "I'm interested in the build only cause it's a nice house... I don't care about the pink box... many other males get the sets...." etc. I'm just too lazy to go through that and make him understand. He's kinda close-minded when it comes to THIS kind of stuff. And yeah I really liked the house, can't wait the get the Simpsons house also. By the way, I noticed that friends sets like these come with a LOT of hair accessories. I think it would be nice if all the hairpieces for the regular female minifigs had those little holes on the top and the sides to be able to use them, and not only on those soft plastic hairpieces for the friends "minidolls".

I bought my first friends set, Stephanie's beach house. It's a really nice set, the only thing I didn't like was the lamp hanging above the kitchen being too low. I modified the chairs in the entrance so the regular minifigs could sit in them. I also didn't apply the unnecessary butterflies in the roof lol. I must say I hid the purchase from my dad...

I'm so excited And I just can't hide it... NONONONO I know, I know, I know, I know I know I want you I want you! $200??... meh, worth it! Lol

I already want the simpsons house! I don't care if it's the only set I get for 2014, I love it that much! It just seems very different from all the other LEGO sets.

I am blown away. This house is incredibly detailed *huh* It's so complete and... ah!! I LOVE IT!
-
Haha I know right? It will take long until they get used to the idea of me buying pink girly boxes + disney princesses I'm sure my mom will understand right away, so I might just tell her to buy a set for me. Anyway, I thought Ariel's hairpiece looked good on her, but it looks horrible on the regular minifig. It looks like if someone grabbed play-doh and made a hairpiece out of it

I actually don't like that mary jane minifigure, I expected her to see her as she appears in the ultimate spiderman series.

I might get that tower. Thanks for the review.
-
$70 ... I might just pick up the tower and Stephanie's beach house from friends. I really just wanted to buy the castle for the variety of interesting pieces but it's too pink and pricey
-
Thanks for the reviews guys! I need to pick up that castle set and probably the tangled one too. How much did you pay for the castle, just2good?
-
Wow those are awesome! I love it when they take cool professional pics with lego minifigs! I particularly love the one titled "A pilot's dream" but ALL of them are great!
-
All I can say is... LOL. I don't know how this theme will do, really.
-
Finally! short sleeves I may not like the heads but I'm sure we'll see nice torsos and legs Oh and of course, pieces! By the way, is the Simpsons house the only set announced?
-
I agree, powerman's face is awesome but the rest is MEH. Also, just now I noticed how the majority of the females in this theme are redheads

The flower print on the hair from the series 3 hula girl faded easily with a slight scratch, and also the skater from series 1 had his face printed with a strange paint... it looks very opaque and grainy, don't know how to explain it. Also, this didn't happen with collectible minifigs, but I once bought 5 keychains from the lego store, two of them were females and had the same face print (the standard one that was released around 2007 in the Castle theme) I left them in the LEGO bag in the car, when I came back a couple of hours later, the white paint from the pupils disappeared COMPLETELY when I touched them with my fingers! It was horrible! I won't forget that day, in that moment I felt like my LEGO hobby was over.

That's why I said "If that happened"... leaving all the blocks aside that made it impossible.
