Wuagh! For a moment I got extremely excited with just seeing that figure..
-
WOW! This was really unexpected, all of those figures are incredible. Can someone explain me what is Dr. Doom doing there?

LEGO Collectable Minifgures Series 8 Rumours & Discussion
Brickity replied to Piranha's topic in Special LEGO Themes
My favorites are the Hamlet one (the ruff! ) the football player, the guy in the Bavarian costume, the cowgirl (I like her boots and hat!) the alien, the diver and probably the skier.. The fairy looks like she's from the flinstones' era! And I expected something different for the Businessman and cheerleader It's a good serie either way -
Wow! I love the interior of Bag End! It's really detailed, I specially like the book area. Weren't we going to see more sets though?
-
Oh wow! This is my favorite set from the line, I'm definitely going to buy it! The inside seems fun and well detailed.

So Angeli was right! I guess.. cause when he saw this "half wrong list" he said some of them were not what he first heard/saw.. Can't wait for that Dark lady with tiara then. -
These minifigs look good at first glance, but they're not something I'd scream for. What is there going to be at the NY Comic-Con anyway?

I hope just the hat, the eyes look way too simple for Santa -
They'll be giving out those minifigs? Wow.. I hope I can get at least one from Bricklink...

Comic-con starts tomorrow doesn't it? Can't wait to see pictures popping up! I haven't acquired neither series 6 nor 7 though, it makes me quite upset! My shopping mall was supposed to get them a long ago, I don't really know what happened. I'm missing lots of sets from this year! US trip emergency! -
Medusa! She was in Toth's designs.. or maybe a fancy witch like the ones in Shrek.
-
My favorite one is Bombur! I also like Bofur a lot. I'm thinking Balin's face isn't so accurate, maybe the shape of his eyes and the mouth too high.
-
Ooh Goodness these are fantastic! Can't wait to see all the others!
-
Thanks for the suggestions guys! I'll definitely get the GE first, as it is the oldest... and cheapest
-
Ahh there will be so much Disney stuff going on next year, so I should forget about my Disney Classics
-
I love the Grand Emporium and the Town hall, but I don't have enough money to buy both.. at least not now. Both seem to have really good pieces... Help me out please

Hahaha, I think he's talking about the first one.. cause that's some serious heavy make up (And that head was mostly exclusive to Paradisa sets) I think TLG found that head too vulgar, so they replaced it with the standard one. The "take-out" of that heavy make up face was a huge mess made by TLG, they started mixing both heads in the sets.. I'm personally fine with the amount of heads with make up... though there are some (for example the bride, hula girl, etc) that gross me out!

It reminds me of this toy I had as a little boy: I think it's good for a set.. and I think that The Lego Wizard's idea is good, hmm.. at the moment of pulling something the roof opens while the sandman jumps from there.. kinda..

Well this theme is over with no doubt, unless a new HP saga begins (and with the children) which sounds impossible, as Daniel would be needed in the film anyway, and I read a few days ago that he was trying to do everything possible to dump his Harry Potter image

There are some good pictures at Brickipedia.

Thanks! I hope I can find them when I go on a trip.. cause they NEVER (or at least not yet) appeared here in cranky Mexico, ugh I must move out of here if I want my hobby to be alive. By the way, what's the problem with the scottish piper's kilt? Many people seem to have a problem putting it. -
Hey I actually like it! This should've been a set. I specially like the ring splitting in half feature, adds playability.. I think you should remake the balcony scene with MJ, the original set lacked of scenery, it looked as if MJ was walking down the street running from the green goblin.

What would it take for you to stop purchasing Lego?
Brickity replied to Blackicep8ntball's topic in General LEGO Discussion
In summer of 2010 I bought some minifigs, a keychain and some other sets at the Houston LEGO store. In my excitement, I opened everything in the car just to put all the minifigs together in a bag. My family and I left the car just to walk around, and when I returned to the car, I noticed the faces of the keychain and minifig magnets faded! (I touched the faces with my finger and the prints *swooshed*) Just because the temperature was a little warm, the other minifigs from the actual sets were in perfect condition. In that moment I felt a little unmotivated to buy more LEGO.. I'm not buying a single keychain/magnet set again. -

Are series 6 packets still available in american stores? -
I got very excited when I saw those a few days ago and thought it could be a possible line for next year, but it is already going to be full of licensed stuff isn't it? Why haven't they come up with a Disney classics line already? It's like, an essential theme among toys..
