  1. Out of curiosity, what sets do you think could sell out on the first day of sale? What would be the most popular?
  2. Check out youtuber - Potterminifigspals. She did a great video on combining the old and new ones.
  3. i do think this will, sadly, limit it's appeal. I won't be getting it for this very reason as I simply don't have any space that large to display it. But, I hope it does really well. Of course, knowing me, I may still get it and just keep it in the box. This is what I did for the Falcon during their last double VIP-points...
  4. Oh, true. there was that vague rumor a while back - when Madam Hooch was leaked but before the First Flying Lesson was revealed. With the Trusted Ones (TM) on here stating that we'd be surprised WHAT would be an Icon - A Remeberall seems too obvious
  5. It's probably going to be weird "icons" of random objects, like a Gryffindor Scarf and a cup with Hogwarts crest.
  6. There a list of what sets are what specific store exclusives?
  7. I wonder if that set even exists or was a "typo" in the leak, given how close the rumored number was vs. the real number of Vader's Chamber.
  8. I know this may be off-topic, but potterminifigpals is in trouble all, based on her most recent youtube video. Holly, not sure if you'll see this - Your youtube content has brought my wife and I much joy during this trying times in 2020. We respect you and are so glad you have made all that you have for us with your Harry Potter videos. You bring a lot of joy to others through your passion for Lego. Your videos have helped bring joy to the world. YOU ARE NOT ALONE, you are valued, and we are here for you. IM if you need or want. You are NOT ALONE.
  9. Bricklink would probably be your best bet. It'd be pricy but a LOT cheaper than buying the set completely. It is a nice display set, which is why I finally bought it. I actually saw Hogwarts Castle displayed in an listing for an apartment in my city and it look so fantastic. I too was a completionist until recently
  10. Lol - some people are just triggered snowflakes. They'll continue to buy Lego and Star Wars.
  11. It's listed in the shop with that - that's the official name on the box.
  12. Dobby and Dobby's Sock is BACK on the table What could these mysterious things mean - people, places, or things?
  13. OH my. What is the percentage breakdown for those that would be good for vs. hating it?
  14. I would imagine the new Boba figure would be in another set once the BOBF begins airing - depends if they make sets around it.
  15. Interior of Moff Gideon's Cruiser leaked. Looks interesting but not blown away by it.
  16. So many things i don't get. This and the baffling statement made recently that they don't like to look at aftermarket prices in decisions on future minifigures (and by inferrence, sets). Sometimes their marketing makes zero sense to me. I suppose for the purposely advertising point of view, I'd imagine it has to do with budget allocations and what sets they analyze either NEEDS marketing or could bring the greatest return on investment FROM advertisements. This probably shows they don't have as much interest in the cartoons when they are just starting than the live-action series for this wave.
  17. I haven't bought anything this wave yet and waiting until they go on sale. Definitely will be buying Hogsmeade and a couple others. I too have been a little disappointed since I just got back in and loved all the 2018-2020 sets and thought they were the essence of what Lego and HP could be. This wave does have a bunch of fun stuff that I'm looking forward to getting. I feel your pain @MaxHeadroom and understand the disappointment of the lack of DH sets. I think we can all be better fans of Lego and HP if we try to understand where someone else is coming from expressing deep emotion and disappointment. 2018 is hard to top and not everyone shares the same opinions.
  18. Apparently some people think their opinions mean fact and then get annoyed when someone doesn't agree with them. Thankfully it seems most can understand the difference of opinions on sets and be ok with it. As someone that recently got out the dark ages within the Star Wars sets, there has been overall VAST improvement. I was there, during the original couple of waves twenty years ago. So much has changed and so many cool sets and minifigures. For me, I'm still catching up on TCW so haven't even hit the Bad Batch intro in Season 7, so I feel I have an outsider opinion on the set - a remarkably well done set overall that misses perfection on a number of things. Figures really do the characters justice, but I can see why others would be disappointed.
  19. Is there something that could be MOC'd to make the fur?
  20. I agree with the vast majority. Amorer and Paz are absolutely fantastic! Horns in particular are exactly what is needed!
  21. I'd also enjoy seeing a Modular-style 80s Cafe or the Courthouse. These would possibly work as cross-appeal. A McFly House would be pretty neat too but can't see it being too popular besides die-hard fans.
  22. I could see a nice MOC of the Movable Staircases utilizing these for paintings/portraits. Or a Dumbledore's Office showing past Headmasters.
  23. Good point. VAT would most likely be included.
  24. I hadn't realized how bad conversions are for Australia. Lego needs to do something about this. I converted your prices @Brikkyy13 to US dollars for and Mandalore Throne in Australia is ~ $25 US, Fighter is $69 US, and Gideon's Light Cruiser is ~$200 US!
