Given how prominent Gringotts is in nearly anything Harry Potter, especially at WB's Harry Potter theme park, it's not WB that's blocking a Gringott's D2C lego set. My money is either on Marcos or whowever higher up it is at Lego not wanting to produce it. I'd be shocked if they didn't include Gringotts in their "perfect design" of the Diagon Alley set.

Is it just me, or does the new Monkie Kid set City of Lanterns look like it's modular in the same way as HP 2021 series?

They did hire someone at Lego last year to clamp down on leaks. I suspect this is why there is fewer leaks.

I too am getting quite a bit of doubles! Sort of incredible how much duplication it is. Lego accidentally doubled my order for Chamber of Secrets so now I have 2 of them. I'm debating whether or not to return it or just keep it at this point. Does anyone know of any MOCs combining two sets?

I agree. While there's a couple I'm interested in, I've eliminated a few from purchase. I'd be curious if the prices change what the top 5 will be - especially if the 2 cheapest ones will have more likelihood now. Science Adventures is now a near must for me in this one. It's difficult to spend $300 on one set that has neither no reviews and site unseen. I'm planning on 2 right now but still debating. After last year, my expectations are remarkable low for HP. My attitude now is - GWP gets delayed? Meh

I still can't get past some of what was left out or rearranged. Specifically thinking Prisoner of Azkaban. Descriptions of characters are least of it. I mean, she clearly described ALL characters rather oddly and other than perhaps Harry Potter, Ron, Hermione, Malfoy Snape - the lot of them were not exact copies from the book.

At this point, they just should award @RichardGoring and @Textorix the winners...These are absolutely stunning!

While I still expect January, and think you're right with the leaks - there is a MAJOR supply chain issue and can see delays becoming the norm these days. One of my friends is high up in a company and this for a living at a major global company and he says everything is delayed everywhere. Right now there are 62 container ships waiting to dock in LA, up 10 since a couple weeks ago. They are expecting it to stay the same or get much, much worse. I would recommend get used to everything being delayed, including essential items, and doing holiday shopping now.

I've never seen 3 year old retired sets. What did you find?

Maybe a First Responders set with a quarantine section will be next years GWP? Would be a nice way to honor them.
