  1. My biggest worry is we finally GET a Gringotts, but then it's ultimately after Diagon Alley set is retired and is completely not compatible...
  2. Forever on Team UCS Dobby's Sock. What i'd do is add an accessory pack that same year so that each uniform is represented. I'd then make it just 2 teams in the D2C with Gryffindor vs. Slytherin. GWP would be Hogwarts Student Fans Pack with 5 random students filling in odd students we'd not normally get.
  3. I'd love it to be minifigures scale, but i assume that's not feasible?
  4. Hogwarts: Garden Transfiguration Lesson - Moody, Harry, Draco, McGonagall, with Ferret - 29.99, includes part of hallway of Hogwarts garden area and small tree.
  5. Definitely. A Boggart CLASSROOM set would rock at 19.99 or even 29.99 including extra kids. But "The Boggart" doesn't' make sense to me :P
  6. What would a Boggart set even BE...that seems like a tell how fake it is.
  7. I'm surprised they haven't tried a UCS Landspeeder yet. 2 Figures - common-style Luke and C-3PO
  8. I assume that next year, 2022 D2C will be another Icons set with Fawkes and Dumbledore's office objects. I am very surprised how great this looks. I don't think i'd be disappointed at ALL if it wasn't for Gringotts. With this, it definitely is on a want list now.
  9. Yikes, while the rest of the set looks AMAZING, that jetpack looks like a 4+ build. I won't be using it on my display of it.
  10. Saturn V was totally worth it. I finally had some confirmations too after a tumultuous first 15 to 20 minutes.
  11. I don't know. I'd assume it wasn't a real set, or if it was, they got the number of the set incorrect. Any BTTF set would get my money at this point. Even Playmobil has a series of BTTF toys out now.
  12. The show is remarkably popular in certain circles. It's also very popular in fashion as the French Tuck can be seen throughout the city. I often play a game where i'm driving or walkind in my city and point out the fans of the show since they use the French Tuck. It's also been just a fun show built on empathy and caring for your fellow human being which I feel a lot of people have been yearning for as of late. It's definitely not a show in terms with ubiquitous popularity, but I'd expect it to sell fairly well. Nothing can remotely compare to the crash adn burn that is Vidyo! I assume their target are adult fans of the show that aren't normal lego users, thereby broading their reach. My wife is wanting it and she's not the keenest on lego sets and will go nicely on our shelf with the Fab Five's books. This broadening reach seems to be a major theme throughout LEGO these days. What is this Australia special? I don't recall seeing this available on US Netflix. I would have thought it'd pop up on suggestions.
  13. Where did this current rumor about minifigs originate?
  14. Oh my - I hope it's not buildable wizarding coins made up of Galleon, Sickle, and Knut's! Galleon's are gold...
  15. If the one coming out is similar to this --- What do you think the minifigure selection will be? Standard two, UCS Millennium Falcon or Minifigu Scale UCS?
  16. Yeah. I can't recall if the piece count leaked, but if it's NOT leaked, i'd expect it for the price point to be about 3000 pieces give or take. That'd leave about 400-600 pieces per object depending on the object.
  17. I've already accepted it will be sort of "meh", and that I'll Bricklink any minifigures or special pieces I would want out of the set. Anything more than that will be a pleasant surprise. I'll go with 5 if an odd number, 6 if even.
  18. This seems spot on! Random cauldron would definitely be considered an odd one.
  19. We've also been told by people in the know that we'd be surprised "What Lego considers icons" - this list seems too good!
  20. There's a new one coming out called the Lego Harry Potter: Wizarding Duels: Potter vs. Malfoy Boxed Set. Seems to include 2 figures but appear to be common pieces. Also seems like a basic insert of cards and not a book itself? Can't tell.
  21. I thought the Forge or the Darth Vader's Meditation Chamber could have been originally designed to be a SDCC exclusive.
  22. I would argue that Gringott's is one of THE most iconic locations in all of HP. It's in multiple books and movies. At least twice, it's a main location for the plot progression. It also fits EXACTLY what LEGO wants in a set. More Iconic, in a way, than most of the Diagon Alley shops. I also feel the same way. I don't' want to spend $250 on some kind of "objects" from HP. The last HP sets I bought were the Moments sets and I'm waiting until all these go on sale. Here in the US, I have not seen any of the 2021 wave go temporarily out of stock. Diagon Alley, however, usually is. You'd think LEGO would realize this.
  23. She's probably annoyed and jealous that Salazar is outdoing her by creating the Chamber of Secrets. "I should have though of that...". Probably why they are called Hufflepuff. Seems so innocent and cuddly like a teddy bear. Perfect psyops to hide in the shadows Cedric didn't follow her philosophy by hiding in the shadows...
  24. That's the secret to Hufflepuff's. Some sources say they had no dark wizards...so obviously they are the BEST dark wizards.
