I would wonder if they would make a "third dimension" to the 2021 modular style. All the current ones seem to be "2D" in the sense it's only like 8 studs and seem like a Harry Potter Fallout shelter view. I'd love them to do it though and I love this list and would easily buy them all.

From what I can tell, people in Europe are starting to receive them. Has anyone in North America had them magically delivered without prior notification?

They made an entire line from that Trolls movie...so I'd be shocked if there isn't at least ONE set, especially given there's no young Dumbledore minifigure yet.

I'd call it a 8-stud deep shell of it's former self. I'm definitely mixed on my feelings. On one hand, to say the set is a "tower" is laughable and looks like it was designed BY children. I sometimes don't even think these "Anniversary" sets make good parts packs either since nearly all the sets feels like a 4+ set. Or if someone waited until the last minute boss's deadline to get it done. Fluffy set was the prime example of this. I admit I had more fun building some of them than I expected but putting them all together they don't feel very stable. For the Hospital Wing, I had hoped it would look better based solely on the outside and be an actual tower with another layer than it has - HOWEVER I look forward to what the interior shows I really think the Exterior of these sets are literally afterthoughts. It's ALL about the interior - their intentions are Vignette sets designed to show and recreate "scenes" of the movies. Figures as always seem OUTSTANDING. Easily my favorite part of these new sets and glad they don't seem to disappoint.

I agree with GlacierPhoenix - there are laws specific to toys for children that require safety testing. Asume it's more of a production and plastic issue in the Mexico plant (which seems to score with the canceled Christmas Living room set.

I'd suppose if they used the same pieces and technique for the structure of each, that wasn't used in earlier sets, then all 3 would have issues. Not sure HOW they can mess that up though. I'd think production is already underway at this point for them.

It seems to me that Star Wars Lego is heavier on ships and "Swooshable" sets. I'd then suspect more remakes over the long on on things like the Skiff vs. the Palace and big location sets. With Book of Boba Fett taking place at Jabba's Palace. I'd bet money that there will be a Palace set in the next 2 years if it's not already coming out in 2022.

If we got prices, we could speculate which is the D2C for 200 pages....:)

ooooo, that set modernized would be an absolute must buy. I don't know if getting hopes up the 529.99 set is a D2C Jedi Temple...but I want anyway.

Definitely didn't say what it was offhand. It is more that the old USC's seemed to have a box within a box protecting it, while this one just had 2 inserts on the side. Mine got crushed a bit on a corner but I planned on opening it so I'm just partially annoyed and not rage against the machine annoyed. Miss those older USC ones. Death Star I bought last year was perfect upon arrival.

MY AT-AT arrived in the mail today. Appears damaged, dropped on one corner. I think that extra box would have helped. Surprised it didn't have it's own extra box, like most of the other large D2C's of recent years. I'm hoping that's not the case for upcoming sets in 2022.
