LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 24. Rumors and discussion
karrit replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Between Barnes & Noble & my local Walmart I was able to complete my series 24 collection today. I still need to get some extras of a few of the figures but I was able to get a few multiples of ones I wanted more than one of. I should receive my two 6 pack boxes from Lego tomorrow so hopefully I'll get most of what I want. -
I'd love an updated remake of the potions polybag. That was the first and for quite a long time only Harry Potter set I owned. Got a bunch of them on clearance in Target after the holidays that year. I'm a sucker for sets containing transparent bricks so I love the ones with potion bottle builds. A Hall of Prophecy build with a shelf full could be interesting.

Oooh, I'd love a slope pack especially if they were to use colors like Earth Blue, Earth Green and Dark Red. Not a fan of the Vibrant Coral so would have preferred they had used something else in the Lots of Bricks set.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Yes but the available number of pieces keeps going down every day. I haven't even bothered to search the different categories for at least the last week. The piece count in my bag went down by one the other day but that was because one of the parts I had fell off the best sellers list so I was able to add it back. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Depends on what the characters are if I'll be bothered to try to get some. May just purchase a full set from somewhere if they are interesting enough. I'm sure there'll be plenty of other stuff to spend my money on. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
karrit replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
As I'm from an older generation, Sonic doesn't provoke much interest for me. I know who he is but never watched any cartoons or movies with him so have no idea who any of the characters are so I'm not the target audience nor would I buy any sets or possible CMF's based on this theme. Looney Tunes and the Muppets were CMF themes I was interested in and did buy but I doubt I'd buy any sets if they made them. I also bought the Marvel series of CMF's because some I was interested in and others I thought had parts that would be useful to moc some generic figures to populate Diagon Alley. Harry Potter I was all in and bought a full box of each. Batman, DC, Simpsons, SpongeBob aren't my thing and mostly were before I got back into Lego. I think the first Disney CMF series was the first one that I actually searched for because I had to have Stitch and most of those I actually bought from the Lego Store at Disneyland. -
I bought a few of the new broom brush part off PAB just so I could make a few more copies of the newer broom. I have so many of the old version that I doubt I would bother swapping everything to the new version. It seems to be a bit too bulky to me and the foot holders are quite awkward.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 24. Rumors and discussion
karrit replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the tip. Hopefully I'll find some locally soon. The Walmart I was in today, had hardly anything on the shelves and no minifigs or Polybags at all, just some dots stuff. They did have some sets I'm just not interested in but most of the clearance priced stuff was either still priced too high or totally gone. -
Series 1 did (actually contained 22 different figs) but not Series 2 (had 16 figs). With each series being reduced to 12 designs I don't think they should include Fantastic Beast figs with Harry Potter figs. Series 1 had 6 Fantastic Beast figs in addition to the 16 Harry Potter figs but was still only a box of 60 in total.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 24. Rumors and discussion

I found mine in Loveland, CO. There were two other Targets I passed by in my travels yesterday up in Ft. Collins that I didnβt stop at due to time constraints so I'll never know if they may have had some too. The one Walmart I went into that usually is the first to get the newer minifigs didnβt have any, nor did the one Kohl's I visited. -

I found four bags tonight at my local Target but I left one since I think it was the Referee. They were in a Dots box in the Friends & Disney Princess Lego Aisle. Nothing to be found in the check out lanes. -
Icons Landmark Buildings - Rumours and Discussion
karrit replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Personally I have zero interest in any of the stadiums no matter what country they are from. I'm not into any of the architecture sets either. Some of them are nice for what they represent but I prefer minifig scale sets.- 259 replies

I thought the plant stem was new also but it's already been used in two Super Mario sets this year. Two other parts in the Hufflepuff set appear to be new colors of previously released parts. I wish they had done a recolor of one of those in either or both Bright Yellow and Flame Yellowish Orange or maybe Bright Orange for the centers of the new Daffodil flowers that are coming instead of the plain cone shape they chose. I didn't notice any other new parts other than what you've mentioned.

I hope we get to see more than just one set. I'm really curious to see what the banner sets are all about. Hoping they aren't just art style but actually depict a minifig scene somehow. If not I'll be skipping them most likely.

Botanical Collection - Rumours and Discussion
karrit replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
The Tulips are pretty weak compared to the others in my opinion. The Roses are really nice, I got enough to make a dozen. The Sunflowers are fun. The Tulips aren't much better than the flowers they've done in the Friends polybags.- 137 replies

Definitely need the big Dragon form Maleficent. The Sailing Ship Columbia depicting the Peter Pan - Captain Hook fight would be extra awesome too. We already got Steamboat Willie but if they included a Lilo minifig I'd buy it.
-
I'd much prefer they use the dress piece lower body part. The cloth skirt pieces never look good to me. They are too stiff & blocky looking.
-
Those Gem dresses are awful. I mean the piece could be useful somewhere but I rather have a normal lower body piece. I bought the two small Anna & Elsa sets last year and decided the bigger set with Aurora, Merida & Tiana was way overpriced. I still need a Merida figure but with no lower body parts it was a hard pass. The best set of the bunch appear to be the Moana one to me but I have the original sets so doubt I get this one. Aurora's Castle is too youngish but I would like a Prince Philip but not enough to buy the set as I already have the combo one from a few years ago. Princess Enchanted Journey is probably the best bang for your buck but again probably a pass since Cinderella's Carriage is done again & again. The Magic Carpet ride vehicle is interesting as is Rapunzel's Balloon and the Elephant side build is cute. But I'd rather they had offered these three as cheaper stand alone sets

In 2021 they were released in the US in January but this year it was March. 2023 is scheduled for March again.

I just searched the usual legoleaks but it was posted by classic_spaceman and someone else reposted it. Neither credit the original source whatever that is. -

Any detail on if the Newspaper is new or one of the existing ones? If it's an existing one I hope it's the tan one rather than one of the white ones. I like most of these but the Referee is the Lamest one of the bunch to me. Saw the picture of the Space Warrior and I'm not wowed by it. -
10305 Lion Knights' Castle 90th anniversary set
karrit replied to R0Sch's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Finally bit the bullet & purchased the Lion Knight's Castle with the VIP double point promo & got the two eligible GWP's plus the Dragon Ride. Now to impatiently await their arrival hopefully within a week but probably not if past year Black Friday shipping is anything to go by. Seems the earlier I order the longer it takes for it to actually leave the warehouse. *Update* I just received shipping notice from Lego that my order has shipped. Doubtful since it's the weekend. Waiting to be able to check tracking info which could be up to 24 hours or more.- 2,976 replies

I keep telling myself I donβt need it. This way when the vouchers are gone I can tell myself I could have gotten a great deal on it if only. Thus saving me from actually buying it and regretting having done so in the long run.
