LEGO Creator 2023 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
karrit replied to Jiesdeo's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Interesting that there isn't anything listed at the higher price range over 100.00. Looks like a lot of polybags 30641-30645. Curious about the Cozy House one. Maybe the set with no price or piece count will be the big one. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion
karrit replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I found most of mine in two different Walmarts. There's also a regional Sporting Goods store called Scheels that I found them in. I have all that I want now so if they show up elsewhere it doesn't matter to me art this point. I've occasionally seen past series in Walgreens Drug Stores and King Soopers (a Kroger regional Supermarket). Haven't seen any Series 23 in Target yet and I just recently found the Muppets ones in two different Targets but I already have all I wanted of those. In the past I've gotten some in Kohl's but haven't seen the series 23 ones yet near me, just the latest Super Mario ones. I got some of my Muppet ones in Barnes & Noble. Joann's usually gets them but I think they've raised their prices above regular retail this year to $5.49 on minifigs & polybags. Also if you have a Lego Store anywhere near you they carry them. -
Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
karrit replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sadly still no sign of the newish early 2022 parts here in the US. Luckily I was able to purchase some of what I wanted when they were briefly available at the beginning of the year but there are still some I'm hoping to eventually be able to get. -
If my local store has these in stock next weekend I'm in trouble. I will definitely need doubles and maybe triples of a few of them.

Found in Walmart in Loveland, Colorado. I didn’t leave many behind. -

I did really good when I felt the packs in Walmart yesterday. The only thing I messed up on was taking an extra Robot & thinking I had the Wolf when I didn't. Don't know why I took 3 of the Dragon. I got 3 of the Knight & Dragon, 2 each of the Snowman, Nutcracker, Elf, Reindeer, Turkey, Robot and 1 each of the Popcorn guy, Captain, Fairy. I've never seen the 6 packs available on Lego.com on the first day, they've either been out of stock, back-ordered or not even showing. I didn't bother looking at midnight this time since I had already gotten most of what I wanted in Walmart earlier in the day. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 23. Rumors and discussion

Found Series 23 in my local Walmart earlier today. I ended up with 11 out of 12 of the figures. Somehow I missed the Wolf, could have sworn I definitely found that one but nope. I was also able to get duplicates of most of the ones I wanted more than one of. I did end up with a double of the Robot and a third Dragon so those will be going back. Need to find a few more of the Knight, maybe another Nutcracker or two, a couple more Elves and the Wolf. I might try for another Fairy too. At least I don't have to gamble on the 6 pack boxes this time around. -
There's usually a double points offer around Black Friday. I know one of the more recent double point events excluded a lot of the newer and some of the more expensive sets from being eligible for double points. I believe the was the May the 4th one so that only affected Star Wars sets.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

If the Disney series releases in May it should still be in bags shouldn't it? I thought the boxes were expected to start with the September 2023 release? -

My experience with the 6 pack boxes wasn't good. Ordered two of the Marvel ones & got the same 6 figures in each. When I ordered the Muppets ones I knew I wanted doubles of a lot of them so I ordered 3 boxes figuring the odds should be in my favor to get all 12. All three boxes had the same six figures. I'd suggest either getting the figures from a source guaranteeing all 12 or splitting the order between different sources. I may take a gamble again this time because I know I want duplicates again. -
Not yet in the US. Some European countries have a BAM section under Pick and Build but the selection currently is very limited and mostly parts that have already been available for several years in the store BAM towers. When they first announced it they said it could take a year or more for newer BAM parts to maybe be added eventually sometime in the future if at all.

The Walt Disney Company was founded in 1923 which is why it is the 100th anniversary. It did start with the Alice cartoons. As for minifigs I would love to finally get a Lilo to go with my Stitch, even better if they include a Scrump as her accessory. Yensid would be awesome. Maybe a Bambi & Thumper. Definitely Snow White along with a dwarf or two or the Evil Queen. Oswald, Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy, Dumbo. More likely they'll pick one iconic figure to represent each decade and the requisite Mickey & Minnie.

Maybe we'll see some newness after midnight EDT in the U.S. But I'm not ready, haven't had a chance to compile my wishlist yet. -

I've checked a Kohl's, a Scheels, a Target and a Walmart and found nothing so far. The only one I made a special trip for was Scheels. Now I've seen a report of someone seeing them in a Toys R US section of their Macy's store. Curious if they will be rrp there or have a slight mark-up. The TRU in my Macy's was quite small so I'm not about to make a special trip to see if they have any Lego stocked yet. -
Hope my nearest store gets the updated PAB wall & BAM station. They did get the Minifig Factory. I don't know how much of an improvement that BAM station is though. Seem like there would be less parts to look through so they would constantly need to be replenishing. Plus in busier stores it's just going to be a mess very quickly.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

No one knows. Nothing new from any sets released this year is available yet. Some new parts were briefly available in N.A. early this year until they updated the PAB service. The way things look now it could be a year or more before new parts are added. -

Possible at some point. There's still a lot of characters we've yet to see. I'm sure if they do another one it will include remakes of some of the recent Mickey & Friends ones lowering the number of actual new figures we might get. I still would like to know why they won't make the Snow White & Seven Dwarfs set that was on Ideas. -
Ditto, I'd like to see this picture also.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Every time I see a new post in this thread I'm hoping it's someone reporting new parts actually finally being available for purchase. I did manage to get a few things back at the beginning of the year when they were briefly available in the U.S. but there's lots more parts I want that have yet to be released. Here's hoping it really is soon. Time to start making my wishlist. -
I'm really glad this was the set that won. Hoping it won't be too expensive.

The one store I usually go to has their BAM tower fairly well sorted. Two sections each for heads, torsos & legs. The other two sections are a mix of hats, hair & accessories. The other store has everything totally mixed together all the time and only recently started using it again. The Disney Park shopping district ones have always been bad because there are just too many people constantly in them they can't keep them sorted.

I have yet to find the 1x2 Masonary Profile brick in any color in a PAB wall. Unfortunately for me the two stores I normally visit are 1 1/2 hours away so it's not like I can shop them on a weekly basis. I only get to go every month or two. It's a treat to visit when I go to Disney but the selection has been severely lacking in FL lately and has always been even worse in CA. I didn't find the staff at Disney Springs to be very helpful this past trip unlike previous years.
-
Nate, the selection in the PAB wall looks a little better than what was there two weeks ago. The BAM towers are emptier than when I was there. I visited several times while I was there and there were absolutely none of the larger plates that are there now in your pictures. Pretty much everything is more or less mostly the same as what has been available at the two stores here in Colorado over the past few months. We have had occasionally a few other more interesting parts but they go quickly so if one isn't there on the day they put them out you miss out. When I was there at Disney Springs there was never anything larger than the 1x1 & 1x2 pieces other than some of the 1x4 plates and maybe a few 2x2 and 2x4 bricks and the red pennants. No windows, Scaffold pieces, wheels & tires or larger plates that are in your pictures. From what I remember there has always been some duplication in the Springs wall so that's nothing new but there are definitely way more duplicates the last couple of years. Believe it or not the Disneyland Store is worse because they will have multiples of three & four bins with the exact same parts and their wall is mostly just the basic bricks & plates. My local stores unfortunately usually also have empty bins ever since the pandemic started. The one store has about half the size wall as the other and the bottom two rows and some other bins are usually totally empty there these days. The other store with the larger wall tries to keep them well stocked but they usually do have about 6-12 empty or nearly empty bins. Usually if it's something rarer there might be a handful of pieces left that you can see what you missed out on. I seem to keep missing out on the plant parts by a day or two whenever I get to visit my stores. My smaller supposedly busier store has new management this past year and up until about a month ago their BAM tower was full of sale priced polybags, mostly the Friends Flower & Chocolate Box one that they can't seem to get rid of at any Lego Store I've visited over the past few years. My other store tries to keep the BAM tower decently stocked and the bins mostly properly sorted by part type. The Manager there is great and she has one specific person responsible for overseeing the ordering & replenishing of parts for the BAM & PAB but they don't seem to get the most recent BAM parts as quickly as the Midwest & Northeast stores seem to.

I got multiples of Statler & Waldorf Muppet figs just so I could use the legs & torsos to populate my Diagon Alley with some more generic wizards. Probably could actually use their muppet heads for a little more variety too.
