  1. I prefer the written articles with pictures over the obnoxious mostly know nothing you tubers, social media influencers or whatever. I watch the promobricks one just so I can get the English translation since they usually release details first but I find her very annoying with all the hand waving & head bobbing. It's just so unnecessary and distracting to me. I use to watch Holly a little way back before she became so full of herself and kept repeating the same things over & over and started waving her hands all over the place for no reason. After her whole, "they booted me for I have no idea why" diatribes I couldn't take anymore. Never could stand to watch any of the self absorbed guys that got booted or quit LAN. I've never watched Emmasaurus as her selfie with box posed pictures just rub me the wrong way. I guess they all appeal to many of the younger fans but I can read a well written informative article a lot faster than I can watch any of their mostly blathering content.
  2. I'm in US so I ordered them in January one of the times they were briefly in stock. I know that earlier in the day on Monday they were in stock but disappeared pretty quickly.
  3. I also buy pieces from sets I would never buy otherwise. Waiting patiently on those purple carrots in the Avatar sets. I have no interest in the Avatar sets otherwise but I did buy a few recolored plant parts. I did put off getting the Lunar New Year Parade set this year as I want it more for some of the parts than the actual build, that giant Rabbit is scary. So unless Lego puts it on sale really cheap I'll probably just get the parts I want if/when they become available as it's really too expensive for the few parts I want from it. If I can get a whole set for around the price that I would pay for the parts I want from it then I will go ahead & purchase the complete set. For sets I really like I sometimes purchase additional quantities of some of the really interesting parts. Definitely grabbed extras of a lot of the new parts from the Lion Knight's Castle as well as the complete set.
  4. I've had mixed results getting GWP with PAB orders. If I order all Standard parts I don't seem to get the GWP. If I add Bestseller parts or any sets it seems to trigger the GWP being added to the order as long as my total for everything exceeds the minimum purchase amount. Once or twice the GWP was added to my order but removed if I only ordered standard parts without anything else even if I was above the minimum threshold.
  5. The official 100 Year Celebration of the Walt Disney Company Event already started on January 27th at the Disneyland Resort in CA. So it will be at least half over by October.
  6. I just got my January 18th order yesterday. Still waiting on all the others I placed after that. It wasn't the order that has the Banners & Cape so still waiting on that one. This one had some of the shields, the bardings, some animals, spaceship tiles, earth green trees, coins, forestmen hats, torsos, legs and a few other odds & ends. Strangely I got a double quantity of one of the spaceship radar panel tiles I ordered and the transparent printed Baron Wall piece from the Haunted House which I didn't order.
  7. Their sub-category breakdowns are messed up for a lot of items to me. Was trying to see if there were any decent wheel options for Medieval carts other than the large Wheel with Spokes and there are at least three different sub-categories for wheels in addition to the Vehicle Parts & Train Parts sub-categories. Yet they put Upper & Lower Torsos all together in one Minifigure Torso & Legs sub-category. Not to mention the frogs being listed in the Decoration Elements sub-category instead of the appropriate Animals & Creatures sub-category.
  8. Roebuck listed 8 minifigs on the previous page of this thread. The leaked picture is very blurry so very difficult to make out exactly what everything is.
  9. Yes, I notices the hen piece also. At least it should be a bit cheaper than the printed ones if they release it to PAB. Weird color for a chicken but any new animal is always good. Are the bright pink (lego bright purple) window frames a new color?
  10. Tempting as it is I'll wait to see if Lego offers a decent GWP. If they were offering the sets at a lower price then I'd probably buy some.
  11. The recent piecemeal approach to adding and restocking parts has resulted in me placing 5 separate orders over the past several weeks. When some parts show up I'm hesitant to wait too long before some of them end up out of stock again. Finally was able to order the Sand Green Bamboo part as well as the White Medieval Veil part last night but still waiting for the Earth Green Skirt part to come back in stock. Ordered a bunch of other random parts I'd been holding off on with my order last night since it was 2x VIP points. Sorry I never ordered some of the way overpriced corn pieces since they now seem gone for good. If they ever show up again I'll grab a few.
  12. Yes, it's nothing I need but like I said if it shows up at a discount I'll definitely grab one. Still hoping we eventually get the Neville one. We unfortunately never get the annual yearbooks but I think the figures they use in those are fairly easy to get other ways. I'll need to keep my eyes out for a few of these that I don't already have. Those Gear Up options for some themes look really interesting with a bunch of accessories. I just ordered the generic Valentine & Easter books, already have the Christmas & Halloween ones. I saw a Jurassic one that looks interesting, I love that trans orange specimen jar they use but I already have several of the polybags that came with it & the Dr. Wu book. I get some of these because they contain exclusive parts we can't buy from PAB and extra parts are always welcome.
  13. Is that the one that looks like it's repeat builds from the Yule Ball Advent Calendar? I don't need it since I bought two of that Advent Calendar & have the Astronomy Tower. But I'm a sucker for the side builds so I'll probably get it if it shows up on sale somewhere.
  14. As for the closure for the rest of the world it didn't make a difference then. Now is a different story since we can order the new parts while the rest of the world is still waiting. Part of me wonders if they are letting us get the new parts now because we still can't access the newer BAM online feature. I know that really hasn't turned out to be a great option so far since they never added anything new or replenished the more desirable parts.
  15. They may have left Standard parts ordering open for us in NA but they didn't replenish anything and they didn't ship anything while they had it closed for everyone else. So essentially it was closed for us also even though we could place orders. I didn't bother because there was nothing new to be had. My brothers friends ordered a bunch of parts for their daughter, whose an architecture major, before Christmas and they just recently go the parts. I don't know if the parts were supposed to be for a Class Project but she just built a replica of their home. I don't understand why they are letting us order new parts now while the rest of the world can't.
  16. Glad I'm not into most of the Marvel stuff. I've bought the occasional set here & there if it seemed really interesting with great parts. Likely the only one I might be interested in out of these would be the NWH one even though I'm not a Spiderman fan.
  17. But they don't use the cardboard sleeves when they pack cloth pieces in CMF's so still possible there would be a way to include one.
  18. So what are the chances we get an invisibility cloak with the Harry figure? Hoping the missing figure is for Katie Bell. I don't remember ever seeing Luna in a Hogsmeade scene. If this AC is Hogsmeade themed & these are the Minifigs included I'll be back to buying two copies.
  19. Too bad the 2x VIP points is happening starting this coming weekend instead of March.
  20. I don't have any of the original sets so I'll most likely be getting these. Hope we get clearer pictures soon. The current ones are way too blurry for me to make out much detail. I like the idea of the Temple of Doom one but I really didn't enjoy much of that movie at all including the whole sacrifice scene in the temple so it will most likely be the lowest priority one for me.
  21. I'm pretty sure someone posted a list of what parts were needed to convert the roofs of the 2021 sets to gray. It wasn't ridiculously expensive. I had most of the needed parts from some bulk lots I had purchased so there wasn't much I had to order from Lego. I'll see if I can find the list. Found it, originally posted by Metanoios :
  22. The Accessory Set says there are 16 random designs and you get 10 in the set. The stag tile says Expecto Patronum & the flame looking one says Incendio so they are spells. There was another pinkish one that's probably another spell. The Hogwarts Crest one appears to be printed on a black tile. The Desktop Set says 10 surprise tiles but no description on the Lego website yet. The pictures look like they are different than what is in the Accessory Set just like the Disney ones were. I wish they were doing a HP Extra Dots Pack so we could try for more of the random tiles at a less expensive price.
  23. I'm sorry I fell for this one until I started reading all the other crap they posted. If none of the Moderators actually gave this person the OK to post despite their claim they should get banned for this. The silence from the OP is deafening.
  24. Thanks for the info. I have no interest in either brick build figure. I think I'm definitely going to want the Snow White Cottage and Sleeping Beauty Dragon. I hope there isn't too much else coming I'll be interested in because I know I'll be wanting most of the Harry Potter sets and the Indy sets.
  25. Is that the Dr. Strange Cape?
