    Where are the dwarves' colourful beards!!! Yeah, none of the dwarves looked like what I pictured them to look like, I would have made them all much more Gimli-like. It's not like they shave or keep trim countenances on purpose, but for the movie and for distinguishing one from another it makes sense. Yeah, it seems all the rage these days. Gets a bit redundant, especially when they add such characters to classics for no apparent reason. I guess it must boost sales.

    You should read some of the old quests. Battles lasting one round was not at all uncommon. The boss battle in Quests #20, if I'm correct, was finished in just one round. ...Good days!

    Exactly, now just pretend that the exchange never happened, which, surely, it didn't.

    Swils, I could be wrong, but wouldn't it be a better idea for you to keep the marksman's hat, because you have a shield that can damage multiple enemies while all of Xander's attack only hit the targetted one.

    "Will you change into your clothes now? I am sure, if you are really meant to be caring for this place you must have some official garb," I suggest as I pass. "Say, do you fellows get a lot of visitors to these parts?" I hand five gold to Erdy. "Thank you, friend. Just wondering, since I know have a few gems that I will have to embue, I may not have enough gold to pay for it then, in the odd case that I don't, would you be willing to accept full payment at a later date?"

    "Honestly, we just so happen to be passing this place along our way, but what are these "Power Trees" of which you speak. And what are paying for...exactly? I mean, obviously we are paying to enter the premises, but what then? You fellows don't happen to be Shamens, do you? Shamens are said to always run around bare-chested."

    The wings are obviously wrong on the large gliders and the minifigs, as usual, are incorrect, but the best I could deal with.     Watched "The Hobbit-An Unexpected Journey" and it really was brilliant, fantastic...but I really don't want to pull out my thesaurus and start adding adjectives. Best movie since "Lord of the Rings," and I will have to have a marathon of those soon in order to check whether those even meet up.

Perhaps my maps and charts are wrong. I should take some time to map out the chart, or rather chart out the map a little better once we're through with this whole...quest. Adam, do you know how close we are to this place on the map where it says the 'Power Trees' grow?"

    Flare, just in case you missed it: "Erdy, I think you may find the amulet more likely to be useful than the muffler. The muffler is only useful if attacked by enemies with the specific strength of sealing us, whereas the amulet can be useful against any enemies. In the unlikely case that another enemy we meet has the power to seal you, you can always just switch amulets. Adam, you may as well borrow this "Magic Viper Skin" since I can't equip it at present anyway. While I am at it, let me heal you to full health since you obviously took a hit with that poson. I hope you three don't mind being on watch tonight, I feel somewhat sapped of energy, if you will." With that said and done, I sleep in my bedroll.

    Sorry, but Flare got the Demonic Scissors that Sarge now uses when there were a lot of others that could have used it much more than he. (QM, please don't kill me!!! ) I feel bad for Arthur, the others are discussing his mental condition right in front of him. If anything drives him over the edge, I think that would.

    Thanks, Sandy. Some of the gifts just seemed so incredible that I didn't think it were possible that they would be with us to stay. I was thinking of giving Eric a "permanently encouraged" hood, so he would never need to drink mead again, but I thought it would never be accepted. Cut looking back, some of the gifts given seem a lot more powerful than that would have been though. Flare's new cannon and Costy's coat are terrifying. Something tells me Costy is soon to be Doc #2.

    What exactly does this mean? The items will only be useable on the quest we are presently on and once we're finished that quest they'll sit idly in our inventory? Or we're just not supposed to equip them in the Grogmas Gifts topic? Sorry for my not understanding.

    I inspect the new pretzel suspiciously. "Where has this come from?" I wonder aloud. Suspecting that it may have fallen from my cart, I quickly do a count, but on double-checking confirm that all 2,356 pretzels are still intact. I hold it up to the light. "I'm saving this for later," I mutter.

    It helps that you got the damage calculations completely screwed up again. Although the waste of time was on your side, not mine. Glad this mistake wasn't made in a more severe fight...although perhaps I should look back... Happy New Year, all!

    A note comes in from a far-off battlefield: Really "Father Grogmas," what in tarnation is that? I don't believe a word of it, but because everyone around me seems to think that there is actually a possibility that you really will give away gifts, I would at least be willing to let you give some to my friends; but don't think you can get away with trying to slip some my way, I know better than to ask for presents from a being such as you...if you even exist! To Benji Carvenhall: Quiver of Deadly Poisoning, so that he will be able to bring down the demons we face with more ease than before. To Alisha Mortek: Chastity Belt (Grants Blessed Effect), so we won't throw herself around and continually distract fellow questers. To Leo: That he will come back to reality and stop living in a dream world. That he will follow a righteous path on not continue on in the ways of damnation. To Daxus Octavian: That his soul may rest in peace and that no demons may corrupt his body. To Erik Tyrvarr: Cowl of Diplomacy, since he's already such a kindly fellow who tries to make peace with all of those he comes in contact with, I just want it to be official. To Mizuki Kimura: 100 pieces of gold, because she's the least rogue-like rogue I have ever met, Also a Carton of Milk (Grants +1 Permanent Health), to go along nicely with her chocolate cookies. To the Vampire, who's name I do not know: That he'll get a chance to feel me new steak on his head in the arena. To the Elf, Alexis: Cloak of the Marks(wo)man (Gives user 1/6 chance of assassinating enemies), so that she will not fail any future quests and that her flesh will be less exposed. To Eric the Barbarian: Bear Cloak of Strength (+4 power), so he won't feel the need to guzzle down strong drink all the time, which is clearly due to some sort of inferiority complex. To Erdathcath Madilinas: A variety of venoms and bombs to add to her hefty collection. To "Sarge" Mcency: New Pegleg (Grants ability to deal Wood-elemental damage), because his old one is rotten and looks like it's ready to crumble under his weight. Again, I doubt you'll follow-up on anything said here, but in case you do, then I don't want to pass up an opportunity to get some of my old fellow questers some free gifts.

    Um...Flare, I should have killed the skeleton on the third round. Power 23 * 2 (Encouraged) * 2 (Light-elemental-damage) = 92 - 10 SP = 82 damage dealt on a regular hit. "Darn it, why did Grabian not die," I mutter so no one can here. "Mr. Grabian, your friends attacked us in cold blood, it would be our legal right to claim all of their wares for the inconvenience they caused us, but because we are so kind, I would just like to demand for the gold we spent on the wares." Suddenly I hear Adam muttering, "Fine, fine, let's be on our way, but remember Grabian, if we ever return, I'm expecting a hefty discount, eh?" I look at the 100 gold eagerly, but then turn to Erdathcath: "You spent 200 gold for the mythriil shard, so I suggest you take the full 200 now and when the inventor pays us back for having bought it, we can split that up evenly. I can't really accept it now, since it is, technically, your money. I will gladly accept the ruby though, and I certainly think it is in our best interest for you to carry the muffler, since if I am ever sealed, you can nurture it right out of me."
