This is too good not to be a scam, right?
Jim replied to bjorn77's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
If he is going to sell his sets anyway, why isn't he selling for just-a-bit-below-average? Why these ridiculous prizes? This makes you feel suspicious right away. I wouldn't do it. And if I wanted to take the bait, I would try to pay via Paypal and/or just pay a small amount of money and see what happens. -
[MOC] [WIP] Old Skool Rat Rod
Jim replied to EvilEnderman's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks promising! Would it be possible to embed some of the pictures next time? It will be easier for the members to see what you are building, instead of needing to open a second page. Not sure if imgur can resize picture for you, but make sure to embed with a maximum width of 1024 pixels. -

Eurobricks member Hedgie made this great looking compact convertible with loads of functions. Ever seen working windscreen wipers on a Technic model?! Go check it out in the Technic Forum.

I have loads of Mindstorms stuff, but I don't do nearly enough with it to justify the amount of cash spent on all of the components. I have a half built Wall-e like EV3 robot, which I really need to finish. However, I find myself seriously lacking the time to do some proper building. But I will definitely finish this bad boy in order to do some programming for it.

[REVIEW] 42010 - Off-road Racer

Great review!! I like the casual style with your hands visible in the pictures. Nice touch. I have added the review to the index (and the Mini Off-Roader too) -

Wow! I am impressed. What a set of features! Do you have a picture of this model? Maybe I can promote it somewhere- 57 replies

Since it's not a contest, there's no real deadline. I will unpin the Topic by the end of March. Would indeed be nice to have a Topic collecting all the JFMAIR creations, although I am not sure there will be a lot.

42030 - Volvo L350F Wheel Loader
Jim replied to AndroTech's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
True! Maybe build the B-model with your existing parts, added with some Bricklink orders. Forking out another 180 euros (?) is probably too much for the B-model. -
42030 - Volvo L350F Wheel Loader
Jim replied to AndroTech's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's a B-model. Why are pictures so important? Most of the time the B-model is mediocre at best. Now you get a pretty decent B-model, but suddenly there needs to be a picture -

Sweet! I really love these designs. Very original. I would really like to have more rim options and these look awesome, especially the first one. Working on a white 8070, so maybe I will borrow your design -
I really love the moped/scooter! Could have easily been a real set
