Technic Hall of Fame Discussion

I think it will remain Hot Blub Tractor from now on -
I'm only following this project from the sideline, but a modular build with different outcomes seems like a nice idea. Base chassis for a truck (for example). Cabin (can have different versions) Different setups (crane, container, garbage truck) "Universal Truck Chassis" With this approach more people can build different modules. PS what Cumulonimbus said

You will indeed need a gyro sensor. Bricklink will probably have some sellers. -

That's a valid point. I will clarify this in the rules and especially in the Entry topic. This image is like the backside of the box, where the features are highlighted. Very nice way of presenting your entry. -

Hi BrickQuisitor, Welcome to EB! I love what you have done with the crawler. The color scheme looks really nice and the caps are well-thought-out -

This is EXACTLY what the Hall of Fame is all about. Couldn't have said it better. Thank you Agreed! -

Hi Victor, To be honest; I am not too fond of the model itself, but your presentation is spot on!!! I would be very happy if other contestants would present their entry this way. Compliments PS How does the front steering work? -
Laurens Valk has posted an elaborate tutorial on building your own self-balancing robot. Check out the details in the Technic Forum.

Technic Hall of Fame Discussion
Jim replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That model was a contest winner for the Sail the Technic Sea contest. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66837 And like I stated in the first post, all contest winners will be added to the Hall of Fame. (granted, it wasn't 1st, 2nd or 3rd, but that's because there were 6 winning entries for that contest) -
Technic Hall of Fame Discussion

I personally think that the concept of the Hall of Fame should be taken a bit more lightly than some of you apparently do. The Hall of Fame represents a collection of great MOCs, not only legendary ones. Looking at the Hall of Fame right now, I don't think there are a lot of "sub par" entries. In my opinion Alasdair has done (and is doing) a great job of adding the right models. Legendary MOCs can be found in Sariel's new book http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97236 -

Hi Jockos, Welcome to EB! Please try to stay on topic in the different discussions. So let's keep this discussion about the Lawn Mower. Thanks There's a thread for Technic General Discussion, where you can ask general questions. Or use the Tecnnic 2014 Discussion and Speculation for 2014 set questions. In short; I don't think I will be reviewing the set. I didn't get one from LEGO to review, so it all depends on whether I will pick it up and whether I want to spend time reviewing it. -
I will look into it

I would buy this in a heartbeat.....or quicker It looks great and it has some nice features. Very very well executed -
Astonishing MOC! Frontpaged it and of course, assigned the pro tag to you

Three times is a charm! That's what EB member Sariel must have thought when he started building his latest and greatest, and presumably last, version of the iconic Hummer. More information can be found in the Technic Forum.
