Okay guys, let's not turn this into a "re-release wish topic". You can create a new topic if you like, but there is probably already a future set wish topic.
-
Thanks. You need to post the address to the image itself, so the .jpg. That was something I was wondering about as well. But it seems to be normal. The old one also had a "sagged" rear.

So there will indeed be a new Taj Mahal. Admittedly, I already heard some rumors about a new one, but I didn't know it was a re-release. Lucky for me the re-release only has 5923 pieces....pfew.

You mean quoting a picture? That's always allowed if you are emphasizing on something -
Interesting! There's those 5 escape Pods. They also labeled the starboard side as a "docking ring" and the port side as having an "airlock"

Thanks. Ahhh it's great to hear another view on the escape pods. I was really in doubt whether the sides were the escape pods. Some images online showed that these were escape pods. Other images stated that the pods are in the cargo bay. The cargo bay seemed more logical, since the hatches are placed there. But I couldn't come to a final conclusion. Stuff like this floating around the net: And this: So the sides are access hatches, which actually makes sense. Thanks. I'm sure your wife will understand.....being sold and all...

I do indeed like it -
Thanks Ramen! It's best to use an image hosting service like Flickr or Bricksafe. You can upload the image there and paste the url in your topic.

Technic Hall of Fame Discussion

We will NOT move the HoF topic. The HoF belongs to Technic. As far as the SMF is concerned....that's basically one big HoF, since all the models there are extraordinary. There's basically one unspoken rule and that is that you don't nominate your own MOC -
No worries. Just so you know Other than that...welcome to EB!

Hi, Sorry, this is not a market place. We do have a buy and sell section, but that's for members with a higher rank.

Or we could make a tool which can easily frontpage a MOC. And you know what....I just started working on something. With what I have in mind we can frontpage a topic with just a few clicks and edits. That would make it a lot easier for us to frontpage MOCs and I could possibly have more people in charge of frontpaging. Don't expect it to be done by the weekend, but I will let you know when it's done. -
There goes the neighborhood That would be really great Bob!!

Unfortunately frontpaging MOCs is a manual exercition. You need to copy image, create the topic, etc. Not a very big deal, but it's not something we can do with a single push on the button. I have been rather busy and Milan also has had other things on his mind. I do concur we should frontpage at least one Technic MOC every day, or week, because we have so many great MOCs on this forum. This also mostly boils down to precious time we need to devote to maintain the topic. I don't think it has anything to do with splitting the forum. We appreciate pure Technic MOCs as much as you guys. And we also do understand that and important aspect of showing your MOC here is appreciation and exposure, which means HoF, Frontpage etc. Maybe we need to think about some sort of curator role to maintain HoF and being able to Frontpage a MOC. I know I simply don't have the time to do that. -
Yup, same here! A part of the group are regular attendees, so when you come more often you really get to know each other. And I must admit....some of the EB members are actually quite nice

Thanks mate. I will PM you about the magic tricks The reason I am still silver is that 90% of my reviews need to be published asap. That means they bypass the RA. I need to make it to gold just like all the other students

Thanks! I have thought about 360 degree, but you know what.....my photo studio is too small I can't rotate the model. You can see that I Photoshopped the front view image. And I don't think it will fit my plateau. Maybe I can come up with a solution on my desk, but that would mean there's no empty background etc.

My pleasure! Yes, they can be removed very easily, provided that you will be able to rest the Falcon, or have someone assist you. Maybe I need an Efferman stand as well. You mean the modified version by Lucio, Right? That's actually an incredibly good idea

Thanks! I did have some troubles with the underside. At some point I was very frustrated. But I had made a small mistake, which caused my consecutive frustration. But it's definitely less hard if you can turn the model upside down more easily. Why choose?! Thank you sir! And you
