  1. That is indeed the case sometimes. You do see TLG using a certain piece in multiple sets, while it is only useful in one particular set. Since they are producing this piece anyway, it's probably cheaper to use this piece than to use it in a different color. Maybe one day, I can get tangible information about this phenomenon. Yup. And I will try to do the write-up, along with the build. So when I have finished the model, the write-up should be (nearly) done too. I have been planning on doing this lots of times, but for some reason this strategy doesn't seem to fly. I will give it another go. </offtopic>
  2. Exactly Since this is not a major release, with an event, like the Bugatti and it's already available in stores, I don't see any objections. The internet will be flooded with them soon anyway. Thanks for thinking about the embargo though. I appreciate that
  3. I love it too. I didn't expect it to go this well. But I need to give credit where credit is due, because @dhc6twinotter came up with the idea of the fairground theme This
  4. Eurobricks member KevFett2011 has created this wonderful model.Click on this link or on the image to visit the topic.
  5. Doh....yes, of course! This can be the issue. Totally forgot about that.
  6. Yup, and I agreed with you Never mind hehe. Move along, nothing to see here
  7. It was is a valid comment
  8. While this is absolutely true (as you can read in my review), I didn't see this when I tested the gearbox.
  9. That is quite hard to tell, from just your description. For me at least. Maybe other members can tell you from the top of their head. I recommend looking closely at the gears (following the drivetrain) and checking where the movement ends.
  10. Hmmmm didn't think of it that way, but you are right
  11. I think, and you basically confirmed this, that they are being sold in Legoland Billund only.
  12. Hi. Welcome to EB! What you basically want to check is the gearbox. Simply move the wheels and look at the pistons, and feel the resistance of the wheels. When you gear up the pistons should move faster and there should be more resistance. Continue this process for all gears. That's what I did, and it worked perfectly.
  13. Hi. Welcome to EB. Non of those people have posted a picture of the part list. If it will pop-up somewhere, I'm sure it will be shared here.
  14. Yes!! nice work. Thanks. And you can embed, by going to the details of a picture, selecting the 1024 wide image and copy-ing the image url https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1802/41530879250_ca82c48b4e_b.jpg
  15. Have you made your album public?
  16. You probably can do something like this. I absolutely love the minifig stand! That's why I chose for the Pure Display stand with the Wicked Brick minifig stand. Come to think of it; not sure whether that's possible.
  17. 41 cm is indeed with the Minifig stand in front of it.
  18. Cannibalize your ride and create a B-model It is a nice rollercoaster btw!
  19. What exactly do you mean?
  20. The model sagging on the stand? Or what exactly do you mean?
  21. I will leave that up to our train moderator @JopieK
  22. Our specialties are mostly other substances than drinks To be honest; I am not really sure what I am allowed to hint. I still need to find out. I am always careful, even when it comes to showing box images for "upcoming reviews".
  23. The current embargo date is indeed the 1st of August.
