LEGO Star Wars 2023 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Lion King replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just finished building Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Jedi Starfighter set. Although I hate applying stickers, I still love this set! I still have the old set fro early 2000s - I mean, Obi-WAN’s Jedi starfighter is my favorite spaceship from Star Wars movie along with my favorite character (Obi-Wan). The old set has no stickers… -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 25. Rumors and discussion
Lion King replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Agreed with Karakoram. i still don’t think Wild West should be off limits for Lego to design a set or minifigure. I know Lego is very careful to come up wiht a design for ingenious peoples/Natie Americans. I mean I abou sell love collecting non-licensed sets and minifiures. Anyways, I don’t want this discussion goes too far as well. I heard that some boxes were ripped open at Walmart. Well, that’s quite unacceptable.- 574 replies

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
As we don’t have too much info regarding the next modular building other than the amount of pieces, I would love to see some more people with disabilities in this building set, such as a person in wheelchair and accessible ramp or with guiding cane. We have the bassist from Jazz Club that wears a hearing aid, which it implies he is hard-of-hearing, which it’s awesome. Of course, we can add the existing minifigures with disabilities to Modular Buildings Collection. -
No, not just red and white. It needs to have a ball for a tip of that cane as well! And a black handle. I mean, it should be more accurate and realistic. I ‘m a visually impaired man with a guiding cane and a service dog here. There is a bassist in Jazz Club that has hering aid on. You mean autism, not Autumn? - Autumn is a character’s name from Freinds.

Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Sure hope so…. A paper crown piece won’t happen in AC becuase AC generally doen’t have new molds. However, paper crowns are fun! Sirius and kid at a mini Christmas party would be perfect. -
Wizarding World 2023 - Rumors & Discussion

Oh I know… but Arthur being attacked by a snake prior to Christmas is dark. It would be strange to see a recovering Arthur minifigure in AC. -
Agreed. Normal baseplates are popular for Modular Buidling while the plates are used for City, that’s a big difference. Of course, you can use normal baseplates (green, blue, gray). I found it strange to see the new road plates next to the modular building n that video but I don’t think it’s a tease video. I will be honest, I will ignore road plates and focus on modular buidlings (I’m a huge fan of Modular Buidlings more than City - because enclosed buildings are what I needed). I find it odd to see Assembly Square in that video so the more I look at, the less convincing it is. So I decided to not look into it too much. This video is intersting tho! Oh, and Modular Buildings Collection is existing since 2007. If it’s. A new plate for a new modular building, it won’t look right next to other previous 18 modular buidlings.

As for OotP’s Christmas scene, we had seen Arthur being attacked by Nagini before that scene at Grimmauld Place. An injured Arthur minifigure, anyone (sarcastially)? -

I think you read too fast becuase Bugbot20082 didn’t say “Death Eater’ in his suggestion for AC. Clearly, the wedding sene is peaceful prior to the ambush. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Follows Closely, no, I mean in the tease video, those awning, doorway and windows look almost same as the cafe from Assembly Square has. I know it is the flower shop in that video… I’m visually impaired so it’s easy for me to think wrongly what I see… Anyways, I think it’s best for me not to look into it too much. By the way, the florist’s shop looks neat! -
Check out lego’s page on IG or FB

Hmm it’ intersting that a tease from Lego uses road plates but it looks like this tease is more for Modular Building.

Still waiting for Mario minifigures…

Ooooooo. Those awnings, doorway, and windows are almost identical to the cafe from Assembly Square? -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Exaclty, that’s wht I was thinking the same way! Currently, I am hiding Bookshop and I didn’t realize it’s a split building (2 16x32 baseplates) and this gives me some more ieas. A 16x32 building is a nice addition to our cities. It is also easier to arrange our cities if we have 16x32 buildings. Here are my ideas for the 16x32 building: 1.) Bowling Alley 2.) Fortune Teller’s Shop 3.) Antique Store 4.) Jewelry Store 5.) Residential (we need MORE liviing… Townhouse, Apartment, Condo, etc) 6.) Daycare 7.) Travel Agency 8.) Clinic 9.) Community Movie Theater (sure, we already have Palace Cinmera but it’s a small singe-movie scene theater with apartment above it just like I saw one or two in my area). 10.) Botantical Garden with sculptures Although marketing is not my thing, I jsut don’t know how they will work out there? -
LEGO Dreamzzz 2024 Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I just don’t see any issues with magazines being released in North Ameirca? It’s annoying… I want some of those exclusive minifigures! -
Agreed. It’s easy for me to lose my track while there are so many Space-themed stuff around here and there. Anyways, I don’t mind space sets that include aliens. I like collecting minifigures and molded creatures (fantasy, sci-fi, normal, etc).

Anyways, I’m kinda disappointed that we will not a third non-licensed series in 2024 (that series remains unknown) but I’m glad misunderstanding is cleared now. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Lion King replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I would be delighted to see two modular buildings per a year. Expanding our cities is much fun! Plus,12 months of waiting until next modular building avaialbe is quite painful for me. However, the combined paces of two sets? Eh, it’s little too much. if I was a designer, I would release a 32x32 building in Janaury and a 16x32 building in July. However, I don’t think it will work that way tho. -
Ohhh, their first names have nothing to do with punny last names then.
