    I just ask for recommdaiton on ready-made kits rather than DIY ones. I have BlingBrick (I think it’s called correctly) and I like it. But I was told that if I remove any section of modular building (floors plus roof) very carefully or I would disconnect lighting system. I would like to look into other options. I’m not sure about DIY since I’m visually impaired so it would be challenging for me to make lighting system myself. So I will pass.

    As expected, I’m not surprised about 48x32 baseplate. I have seen some modular fans wishing for a museum on 32x32 baseplate. The amount of pieces is too much for a single 32x32 baseplate, in my honest opinion… I welcome a 48x32-wide museum!

    Not sure about CMF series… Pseudo CMF series will do better (take a look at Vidiyo and Mario). Xtra (theme) itself is dead but it’s still possible for Animal Crossing polybags.

    Thanks! I thought Portal Out was referring it to Arkham video game since this thread is focusing on tie in video game sets but I was not sure.

    I would say yes becuase Harry Potter’s Patronus pieces (stag, hare, otter) have been recolored for City. But we will see!

    I’m asking for recommendation: what kind of lighting kit you have used to light up your modular city? I may sound picky but I am looking for some simple and not too much wired. I don’t want to modify the bricks.

    Yeah, I know. Designers often use frogs in different colors - white, lime green, pink, chocolate brown, olive green and ohters. They can keep/ use that classic frog mold while making a new frog mold.

    Yeah, we still need new molds for wolf, boar, golly, kangaroo! The updated so portion mold would be so good. Bat, frog, fish and octopus will need to be updated as well (I knw designers hae been using frogs as building techniques but still…).

    Hello! I just started building Brickstopia (my modular city’s name) since April I have Police Station, Boutique Hotel, Jazz Club and Bookshop. I’m working on Downtown Diner, and I will work on Corner Garage and Parisian Restaurant later. So… I just decided that I want to light up my city! I have read this thread but i see the last post dated back to Feb 2020. I wonder if there are any update on lighting methods as of Oct 2023?

    Yeah. And I think they just start to use new colors in existing pieces that other sets don’t have? I can’t remember. Which new colors for those existing parts… Guess I will dive back into researching.

    I think I will throw a minifigure in one of those ideas - they would pose in a hot pink swimsuit and a flowery cap next to those flamingos… One flamboyant minifigure with flamboyant flamingos. :)

    I agre with Classic_Spaceman that Viking did say hi. I actually consider Viking as “classic”. We have seen Mediveal Creator 3in1 sets, such as Viking Ship, Space Shuttle, Medivedal Castle and Pirate Ship. Adventurers feel classic to me. Sure, Castle, Pirates and Space are The Big Three within Lego but there are so many non-licensed themes that we consider them as “classic’ or “retro”
