  1. HUSH!? I think I just wet myself! Batbrick Away!
  2. You seem to have one singular run on Batman as its totality, comics right now seem to be entering a new level of storytelling despite some drawbacks. This part however, is true, I can't wait to see better pics. Batbrick Away!
  3. Not wanting to offend, but I think it is a little too unlike a fairy for my tastes. Like the Lego fruit, sometimes I think I'll take it oversized a little but with a better quality. Micahberger's has the dress quality and is far more recognisable, but I wish you luck in trying to find the perfect fairy formula! I am also curious as to how he does this. Batbrick Away!
  4. Not wanting to kick up dust here so don't take my post as an example of trying to gain something, but is there something special one has to do to recieve a flag? I'm just curious as there seems to be a little open endness to it Batbrick Away!
  5. Yeah, is that in RIP? Jezebel Jet or something? You haven't seen Baby Doll yet, she's in Season 3. Total and utter agreement here, they just don't. No. Not ever. Not in a million years. No. Just no. They shouldn't die, especially not the biggies like Two-Face. That said, I really hope Nolan does choose Catwoman for the third film, as long as she doesn't wear an armoured suit like Batsy. Can you imagine that? No, definitely something a little more, heh, shapely. I'm not sure if he could direct her though, Nolan isn't exactly the master of femme fatales, Rachel was an admittingly one not character, however spiced up Maggie made her. Batbrick Away!
  6. , good point!* You can't be serious, me and my friend just have this English humour thing going recently... I must say though old bean news has been rather slow on this controlling device what-what! Is there any more news or videos found recently? I want to know the final characters. *Get a job! Natbrick Away!
  7. Good point, what do you plan on doing to it then? Oh dear, you just can't find one can you? Well, atleast now we can make it a race! Yeah, I hate life. Exactly, plus a Nerd is based further upon more practical subjects like a Maths, Science or Computer nerd, a Geek is more obsessed with superheroes, Star Wars or heaven forbid Dungeons and Dragons I remember it, I just thought you were referring to a new Batwing one seater. I like them, obviously I won't judge until better pics, though everyone else seems to The lime green is nice, as are the mosters so far, and I HAVE ot get that red bike for Robin. The drill is great too, and like you I have no problem with the blue helms, I want them. Oh yeah, remember back in the Dennis O'Neill and Neal Adams days when they left Wayne Manor for a long time, and returned to find Manbat there? I'd love to make it one day, but "one day" is the key term here sadly. Good point, I've seen the beach episode, gosh that was strange. But a bit of surreal is all in good fun right? You're obsessive too? I line all moy comics in chronological order, as well as my DVDs in order and preference, as well routinely keeping my Lego displays in shape. , have you sent them yet? I try to do that too, but some of my friends don't have interests really, which is.....difficult. Thanks for that list, allowing for expansions of unlisted extras, I must say you don't have as much as I assumed. But then you read a LOT at the Library don't you? Though I can't say much, I only started finally buying them late last year Talk about it. No, I dislike the new colours, they make it look just like any other Batman comic with drab colours etc. So generic, while the classic had bright vibrancy that totally defined what the story was about, a world supposedly on the border of insanity. Still, do you know if the old one is still available for order? Agreed, the Riddler is so underrated, a classic Bat villain. I liked that theory better, it would give Batman 3 a great plot too, since the metaphorical destruction of hope is so important, the eventual knowledege of two-Face would destroy hope, so Batman would have to step up as a true hero, despite his drawbacks, getting connections back to Gordon and fighting the escalating "freaks" crisis that Two-Face is causing by slaughtering the mob. Agreed. Accident? Yes. Still a break of the policy? Yes. I love the Nolan series and this doesn't faze me a lot, but as I still say, I'm awaiting the day a director just adapts the comics without making his own breaks from them. Batbrick Away!
  8. Hi folks! Welcome to Bat Mocs'N'Mods Treat 5! Brainbox is back in full force now but seems to be getting mysterious haircuts, which we will find out why soon.... Today we have: 2 Mods 2 Updations 3 Creations And a close shave..... Here we go, as usual the Batmods are up first: Part 1 - The Mods: Batbike mod: Okay, the original Batbike from the Harley set way way too wide and chunky, so I devised a mod that would make it into a beast of a bike, but one that wasn't quite so ugly: Mods done were removed flick fires, colours changed to black, removing of grey technic pieces to make cycle thinner and overall creation of a cooler bike: Final shot of the improved Batbike (not ot be confused with the Batcycle or Batpod ): Harley Quinn Truck Mod: Okay, as cool and fun as the hammer was I wanted something a bit more practical for Harley and room for a back seat. Mods done were removed hammer, better red/black colour configuration, added second seat for the "puddin", lowered crate, better controls and more filled in overall (less holes"): The back: And the whole thing in action! Part 2 - The Updations: Whirlybat update: Added a more aesthetically and aerodynamically pleasing nose, as well as a nice piece that provides a little restraint where batman sits: In action: Harley Truck update - Now Two-Face Truck! Enjoy it while it lasts gents, I demolished it to make the Iceberg Lounge sadly: The truck packs four hidden guns at the front. Why four and not two you ask? Because Two-Face likes to pack twice the expected punch! Final shot: Part 3 - The Creations: The Tumbler: Total and utter credit to Wetwire on this one for his fantastic Tumbler design. I merely modded it more to my tastes. Changed things from his designs are the front windows which I decided upon after looking at various Tumbler pics, the front glass which now has the famous "weapons" mode cockpit, and the sides which I decided on having less black "flags". Note that the last part I mentioned was done after these pics. Final shot because I don't want too many: Batsled: No, I didn't like the one from the Batcave set, it was a little too flimsy and too big. So here is my new one: I think it is missing something, but I'm not sure yet, so look for an update in the future. I am happy with the flames and batarang holders though: Like another Bat vehicle of mine, it looks a lot better when Batman is in it: Both Batman and Robin in there respectful vehicles: Bat ATV (or Batbuggy): Less than enthused with TLC's version, but inspired by the practical idea of Batman having his own small all terrain unit for out of the city, I made my own: I must say I'm extremely happy with it, the quasi-silver spoiler pieces helped a lot, as did the simple seat, controls and 1x1 trans slope: One more shot: More of shots and everything else here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=295368 Part 4 - The close shave: Here it is folks, in a many attempt to finally put an end to Brainbox's eternal punning, fanboyism and all round admittingly superior knowledge of the Bat cave extras, Batbrick prepared to chop him to pieces when he next entered the Batbrickcave: The device was a huge failure multiple times, succeeding in only giving the geek a free haircut each time, which he attributed to natural causes. Batbrick cried out: "But he isn't a penitent man!" Batbrick slumps against the transparent wall, saddened and annoyed at Brainbox's ignorance of what just transpired. Oh well, maybe next time! Hope you enjoyed and do please comment, thanks! Batbrick Away!
  9. Or we could have more useful figs like an Adam West styled Batman and Robin! Seriously tough, if a Wayne Manor was made huge with exclusive figs, I'd like these ones: Bruce Wayne, Batman (new suit), Dick Grayson, Tim Drake, Alfred, Ra' Al Ghul, Tali Al Ghul, Ubu, league of assassin guy or two, and maybe Lucius Fox and Barbara Gordon. If only they would "whet the whistle" with Batman so to speak, with special henchman and Gotham Cops.... Good point, they are selling well over here too, how are they over there? Oh, wait Exactly! But you need to say "Frak" in there somewhere: "Could everyone just calm the frak down!" Thanks, I'll update it soon. Batbrick Away!
  10. This is the part where Brainbox and I take over No seriously, atleast where not hate mailing the sets consistently, so without further ado *crack knuckles* I am too, I like them. People are being very judgmental on them just as they were with Agents and those turned out to be some of the best designed sets of the year. We don't know how they'll turn out. I admit so far they aren't looking stellar, but they seem to have some great parts included as well as lime green, which is a very nice colour to have frankly. Plus as Jinzo keeps saying, the awesome possibility of more glowing bricks. There's a red bike!? *Looks again at large set* Oh my great aunt! I am SO buying that set just for that alone. That'll definitely be a bike for Robin, finally a bike for Robin! Very good point, we'll probably get a steampunky theme one day, but for now this is what we're getting so we might as well look on the bright side. And I see quite a few bright sides there. I love that, and the biggest set looks very nice to me. Batbrick Away!
  11. Great stuff! I just knew those Space Police would come! I laughed at the bill collector joke at the end, that just strikes me as plain Shwartz. Love the robot interactions as well, though I'd love to see some more "robot" humour like when they first met. Great, looking forward to them as usual. Batbrick Away!
  12. , this is brilliant Dr.S. I love the the whole thing, brilliant method of keeping the sharks up, I didn't see how they were connected for a while there. I didn't even know TLC made dolphins, but they sure do look menacing now, great work! Batbrick Away!
  13. I love Draggy's theory, but I'll make up something different. The sister hired this guy to kill the mother and that is the reason he was there, upon discovering this, the woman totally shoves stake knife through her sister, but can never find the assassin... That or the sister was going out with him EDIT: Just looked up the answer, very nice. Batbrick Away!
  14. Thanks for the fun game dragonator, I really enjoyed it! Have to say though I was a bad choice for a traitor Batbrick Away!
  15. Yay! Veggie Tales reference, my little cousins used to love that show! Great ep, I love Shwartz' coming around at the end. Batbrick Away!
  16. Massive disagreement here, Two-Face is literally Batman's second most frequent and deadly enemy, not to mention one of the most diverse, interesting and realistic villains. The fact that we never got a chance to even touch upon his Two-Face psychosis in TDK was a waste, plus he would be the perfect enemy in the third film, killing off the gangsters like in Dark Victory, which would not only consolidate the "freaks" taking over but a perfect mirror for a Batman like vigilante gone wrong. It was set up so perfect yet now not only has one of the greatest villains in comic history pulled a Venom Spider Man 3 on us, but now we ave to wait who knows how long to get a perfect adaptation of him. Don't try and delude yourself, Two-Face surviving would in no way be out of place, I loved TDK but it had its faults, and Batman's no killing policy with Two-Face's death was one of them. Another thing is this "Nolan verse" treatment, it seems to be diluting the essence of the characters, so I'll be awaiting the day someone has the balls to just pick up a comic, go "wait a minute, this universe is far better than any live action adaptation!", and bring that comic world to life. Batbrick Away!
  17. Agreed, plus the castle sets could just be impulses while the real meat comes out later. Everyone still needs to calm down and realise it is a list for the first half of the year. Batbrick Away!
  18. Wow! Brilliant, brilliant work! I thin kthis may be my favourite Castle moc yet, I love the fiery vortex from which the black demon is emerging, as well as all the other details. Thanks for sharing! Batbrick Away!
  19. There was a brilliant Spy Clops chopper mod to make it more normal people accessible. I really like modding too, I think the U99 was my best work. Huh, good job, you may prosper yet. Or fail, we comic geeks know a lot about failing. the girl I'm interested in is all over the place. She's going to Queensland now for a week and a half for holidays and then apparently from the newspaper Gallipoli for winning a competition! I feel out of my depth I like it too, though the ignominious louts at my school refer to me as a "nerd". Nerd!? A totally different thing I say! Good luck, I'd like to order some bricks one day as opposed to just buying sets, but there are too many! Have you made the Batplane? Or Batwing for that matter? (one seater) Speaking of lots of sets, what do you think of those Power Miners? Highlighted the ones that actually matter and weren't you just tying to sound cool ( ) I'd love to make Crime Alley one day but to be frank, I'd have to make all of Park Row, and that'd mean a full Gotham city. Which i'd also love ot be frank, I really want to slowly create this city, which is why some locations won't be done sooner as they are a bit "out there" for the actual city. I plan on Gotham Bank too using the Spiderman Doc Ock's Hideout windows. Definitely do Mr.Freezes lab as you say, I don't know about bricks though... My awesomeness at Table tennis is rivalled only by my little brother's skill, we are pretty much even. I love that, the footage is it going straight up and then suddenly you get this corny riddle! Ah yes, complete with the most pointless use of an ejecting side car ever used in film! Is that good or bad? I hear it started to go a bit far... Yes, she had the orphans I believe. They have all five volumes at Birchalls here. Looks like a nice story, I'll be sure ot get it sometime. The episode is very good, I've read a few panels of the comic and want to get it some day. You are a sad individual, that's what. Tell me when you send them then, I never check my emails. Good point, but I think I like bringing people to it more. Think about it, isn't it so much better to have people who actually care and are interested in the source material? My good friend will turn, oh yes, he will turn! :skull: Good luck, do you mind my asking what Batman TPBs you have? Speaking of which, I just ordered Haunted Knight from the uni as well, but it wasn't in stock so it'll be here by the end of october Killing Joke up next then, is the original still in print? I really, really don't want to get the new one with Bolland's inking. That is the fourth time I have seen that this week! You know, Eckhart and Nolan confirmed Two-Face was dead recently, which sucks. As great as TDK was, and a great arc for Dent, they truly did waste Two-Face. Batbrick Away!
  20. I hope we get the Shankara stones in the Temple of Doom set, what would they be like? A new mold? Batbrick Away!
  21. I could make so many Gotham prostitutes and trannies form that....... Batbrick Away!
  22. Thanks Schoc, you make a good point, but me being me spare cash is hard to come by! Oh naturally, you enjoy not having a life don't you? Huh, what do you know! That is rather cool, I still have some time yet, thanks. Very nice, I love the tray poses, so proper: "Oh I'm ever so English sir!" Batbrick Away!
  23. Yes I guess it was, but I mean a total exclusive the likes of Cafe Corner, but as a giant Wayne Manor. It'd also get lots of new figs that way. That must be just getting aggravating now.... Thanks, the castle point is a good one, we have not heard of any sets yet we know they are coming, I reckon we'll see Batman yet. Batbrick Away!
  24. Thanks Aayla! I won't judge these as I can barely see them, but I do like the look of them. The chef impulse is great. Batbrick Away!
  25. Eh, guys, you do realise that the list is only for the fist half of the year right? Batman always comes out later, so don't panic yet Batbrick Away!
