New Galaxy Explorer? https://www-stonewars-de.translate.goog/geruechte/lego-10497-galaxy-explorer-neuauflage-in-2022/?_x_tr_sl=de&_x_tr_tl=en&_x_tr_hl=en&_x_tr_pto=wapp https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-space-497-galaxy-explorer-remake-90/ -
I agree with that, but with one caveat: if you never MOC, its kind of a giant missed opportunity.

Ongoing Transformers Rumors and Discussion

Totally, and if you're still nerdy enough in your 40s/50s (ahem) to care about TFs and Lego, you are very likely in some tech field that pays decently. I know it's a total stereotype, but...it exists for a reason. :D I really think that after a certain price point, especially for "collector" type items or deluxe sets, Lego should just charge what it takes to get everything printed. I would rather pay $20 or whatever more and get a really nice set than have to deal with crooked stickers that get a ring of dust stuck around their edges forever. -

Closest I can find is this: https://brickset.com/sets/76017-1/Avengers-Captain-America-vs-Hydra Not counting sci-fi tanks of course (SW, Ninjago, Nexo Knights, Exo Force, etc). -

I doubt we'll ever get anything that transforms into a gun. So maybe tank Megatron but not G1. I kinda hope they do Starscream next. I have to agree the price is too high. Especially since we aren't getting any minifigs. A set with no minifigs is usually less than $.10 a part. And it's not like there are any large parts even. But, TF fans are crazy, perhaps Lego knows that and priced this set accordingly. -
Display == dis play? 😁 To be fair though constantly changing up your display can be a form of play. Re-posing, re-positioning, rotating items in and out of the display, or even transforming.

I like it! The truck mode almost reminds me of a Model Teams set, which I think were roughly the same size (slightly bigger?) and had a similar level of detail. That's amazingly impressive considering it transforms. The only think I don't like are the eyes. Something is slightly off; are they too high? The lack of knees is pretty standard; I can live with it. I'm sure someone will figure out a good mod if needed. Can't even imagine the kinds of mods and transforming trailer builds we're going to see for this set! -
Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?

Fabuland 2 would be amazing and popular -- therefore Lego will never do it. -
Why all the hate for Legends of Chima?
danth replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You should see all the Vidiyo characters... Anyway what do we have in Ninjago? Snake and Dragon heads? What else? I know Monkie Kid has monkey and pig heads, and probably others I'm forgetting right now. I just want more heads for Neo Fabuland MOCs, but what we get out of action themes isn't really the right aesthetic. -

Just want to remind everyone this is all urban legend until there is some evidence for it ever happening. -

Surely such a lawsuit would have made the news. Do you have any links to such news articles? -
Totally agree BTW, more women is a good thing. Wow that driver is going way too fast; hope the poor Micky D's guy doesn't lose an arm in the exchange.

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion

Understood, I guess I was trying to offer a possible solution, you know, trick people into liking alt builds with no instructions. 😁 I have some doubt about the whole story where "LEGO desperately wanted to continue back of the box alt builds, but those pesky parents DEMANDED instructions for them, so LEGO had no choice but to remove them." Always sounded like a made up excuse to me. -
What, you mean every ATM and bank in real life isn't being actively burglarized at all times, by criminals in Hamburglar masks and prison jumpsuits under their jackets?

Lego City 2022 Rumours, Leaks, Information And Discussion
danth replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Well, now they're making sets that say "Build with story, not instructions", so apparently Lego isn't worried about it. I think if you want to cultivate an imaginative style of play, you have to do something like back-of-the-box builds with no instructions. Maybe with a blurb as well: "Can you figure out how to build these models without instructions? Or better yet, build your own!" Turn it into a challenge. -
Ugh. That dragon turtle set is really good. Lego has been killing it in dragon design the last few years and this year is no slouch either. I haven't bought many Monkie Kid sets but Dragon of the East is tempting.

Maybe, but I don't have any expectation that Lego would pass savings on to their customers. In fact, I'd be perfectly happy if all the Lego execs took a pay cut so we could get paper inserts showing other sets, prints instead of stickers, and alt builds on the back of each box. -

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Now we just need the air tank in a nice modern gray. (Dark pearl gray doesn't count) I can live with Light & Dark gray mixed. -

I really hope the whole app thing isn't part of a sneaky plan to eliminate paper instructions. That would be vile. -

Better pics of the Submarine are out and it looks good. All three builds are cute IMO. The coral dive build is pretty clever. I like the minifig included -- @Classic_Spaceman pointed out she comes with the Classic Space helmet in dark gray! The set is really good for mech MOCs, if you want "fire mech" colors (dark red and yellow). -

Good eye! I liked that set even before I knew that. All the builds are cool, and it's really just a Fire Mech building kit in disguise. I wish we could get bubble canopies like that in colors other than light blue though. -

I took another look at a bigger picture of that Missions set. There are lots of prints, I think. The 2x1 cheese slope and flag with Classic Space symbols appear to be prints. So that's nice. There's also the 1x1 trans blue cheese slope with robot eye prints which I didn't even see before. And at least one 2x2 printed computer slope.
