  1. Thanks! My one regret is the visible dust if you zoom in too far. D'oh! Thanks! Yeah the Renegade is a set I love in concept but always found lacking in execution, like the designers wanted a bigger parts budget but had to make due with less. There are some other really nice remakes out there as well!
  2. Wasn't there an Animal Crossing thing happening too?
  3. Sure, but I never said I liked trans neon green that much. 🙂 I don't dislike it. But it's my least favorite Space canopy color. And I don't think you can really compare transparent colors to opaque anyway.
  4. Did you scroll down to the lighter shades? Sorry, fixed link to go directly to them. Anyway, I was only halfway serious, and everyone is free to like this new color and disagree with me. Oh and here's some more proof. I took a screenshot of the video review of the set someone pasted above. I put it into paint and used the color picker tool to get the color. I saved it as a custom color, then opened the Edit Colors window. I then took a screenshot of the Bile color webpage and pasted that into the same image. It's the same color!
  5. The old space canopies looked like gemstones - rubies, sapphires, emeralds, and amber. I don't really see them as comparable at all to this new color. But that's just like, my opinion man. 🙂 Am I wrong though? https://icolorpalette.com/color/bile#LightDarkshades 😁
  6. Don't get too hung up on the word "good". People are crazy for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Marvel anything, Disney cartoons, etc. You really can't say the same for Avatar 2. It's much more of an unknown than any other Lego license of late. I don't think a "sequel" means anything these days when compared to franchises that have 9+ movies each, especially when it's a sequel to a decades old movie that you almost never hear about. Most sequels are terrible, and after 13 years of nothing, Avatar 2 has to be pretty amazing to not feel like both unnecessary and disappointing. I think it's very likely to be just a colossal failure. It feels far more risky than just, say, a Space themed Creator set.
  7. Those sets are absolutely gorgeous compared to the new set. And they don't have that atrocious bile yellow color. (P.S. I don't care if that yellow is close to a color on real emergency vehicles. It's visual vomit.)
  8. I guess Lego is all in on licensing, and doesn't think it's worth it to have original and creative Sci-Fi themes if they can slap a license on sets instead. I mean, we don't even know anything about this movie or if it will be any good, but who cares right?
  9. These are so cool to finally see in actual real life bricks!
  10. Nice! Reminds me of the Star Hawk II from Unitron.
  11. Apparently we're getting this piece in trans yellow from a Dr Strange set:
  12. It looks like it could be from the pics, or perhaps instead, yellow pieces behind it. Very hard to tell, for me at least.
  13. Thanks for this, I actually asked about this in the 2021 thread. I suppose the piece is also trans-clear like in the pic.
  14. NGL, I want a stupid plushy space man too. I NEED some actual Space Legos, but I'll take a plushy in the mean time. I guess.
  15. I mean I always thought half a buck was 50 cents, but then again I'm in the States. 🤣 Alright alright I'm going!
  16. I actually hate neon yellow. I found myself growing nauseous when looking at the new yellow color and also the pictures above in this thread. I thought I was being silly but after googling it, yellow can actually make people want to throw up! https://thevirtualinstructor.com/blog/some-interesting-facts-about-color I can't find any real info though, other than that one site, so I would take it with a grain of salt. It's not unheard of though. A lot of people online have reported feeling the same. Could be a semi-common synesthesia thing. But anyway. Yeah, I hate it. It's the color of bile. Which might be why it makes me sick!
  17. Sorry if I missed it but has anyone figured out the construction of the eye of Gargantos? It looks like there could be a bubble piece in transparent yellow but it's hard to tell. Maybe trans clear on top of yellow plates? Or maybe a dish piece and not a bubble?
  18. I'll be shocked if we get ANYTHING for Classic Space other than some stupid Target gift wrap & plushy space men.
  19. Wait a minute! "Inspired by NASA's Artemis Base Camp Concept" My hypothesis is back in effect! This message keeps the Disney lawyers away! They can do this only because it's NASA inspired! 🤣🤣🤣 No wonder they've merged Classic and City Space! They have to if they want to do any Classic Space type thing! 😂 Or make another Lego Movie.
  20. Trying to understand the tiger stripes...just prints, or weird combos of curve slopes/anti-curve slopes?
  21. They're great! I need them in better colors though...imagine those windscreens in trans yellow or green or blue...🤤😍
  22. Wow... It's Classic Space...but it's City Space! What a crazy timeline we've entered. Mmm, brick build crater plates! Also...human minifigs on a very obvious cratered surface! Yay to hypotheses being blown to smithereens! The blue and white color scheme on the minifigs almost reminds me of 90's Tyco Bricks!
  23. Ah, I thought the Macaque Mech's arms & legs looked too big for the normal clicky joints so I was wondering what was going on there. Might be super useful if they're strong and compact.
  24. That totally makes sense and I remember him talking about some of that stuff. I have no problem blaming COPPA/Youtube. Bummer for Jang.
