  1. Plain P2s were mentioned, but @Renown said that was in the prelim version and that the final set could include a different unit. Three P2 Shinies plus a gunner would be an instant buy for me (and probably everyone else!), but we should not consider it to be legit yet. How reliable are the leakers in-question?
  2. I do not think that we have any confirmation that the set will only include two swappable heads; we know that there are two Minifigs, and that there is some kind of head-swapping customisation feature.
  3. If that is the case, I will be passing on the set and just BrickLinking the Fleet Troopers.
  4. Indiana Jones is over - Both the series and likely the theme as well - so I can see an Adventurers reboot/revival happening at some point in the near future (especially as a one-off Moments set).
  5. 75387 Boarding the Tantive IV: - 8+ (Not a diorama, said to be similar to the Dark Trooper Attack playset) - 502 Pieces - Minifigs currently unknown, but likely Vader, 2x Stormies, 2x Rebels - $54.99 - March 1st release No Captain Antilles (if true) is a major L, since this is one of the only sets that could realistically include him; whether I pick this set up or not is going to be determined by whether we get a proper ANH Vader. 🫤
  6. Thanks! I like both, BTW, but since we just got new Bluecoats in Eldorado Fortress (and they will presumably reappear in any Pirates sets within the next few years), I wanted to have Redcoats for Pirates' fifth incarnation. BTW, these Redcoats would be colour-swaps of the EF Bluecoats, as the originals were.
  7. Lineup (I switched the $10 slot to a second $20 set, since LEGO generally does not release non-gimmick sets at that price point outside of City and the occasional Marvel set): $150: Pirate Ship / Large pirate vessel and flagship (in all senses of the word) of the wave; dark brown hull, red and black trim, black-and-white striped sails. Minifigs: Pirate Captain, First Mate, Cook, two generic pirates, two Redcoat soldiers (one in a rowboat), large shark, monkey. $120: Imperial Ship / Slightly smaller than the Pirate Ship, but still larger than any other Imperial ship (aside from the Imperial Flagship); reddish brown hull, black, white, red, and gold trim, red-and-white sails. Minifigs: Redcoat Captain, Redcoat Officer, three Redcoat sailors, pirate (in the ship's brig). $100: Imperial Fort / Not as rockwork-focused as the Eldorado Fortress remake, but roughly the same footprint; shape is a square with loading dock jutting out to one side, contains a prison with breakout feature, a small crane, and a cannon emplacement. Minifigs: Redcoat Governor, Redcoat Officer, two Redcoat soldiers, two pirates (one in a rowboat). $80: Pirate Hideout / An overgrown island keep built around a cavern entrance from whatever the pirates have on-hand, including shipwreck parts and an old Islanders statue; bridges connect different parts of the hideout, and a sculpted skull sits above the mouth of the cave. Minifigs: First Mate, three pirates, one Redcoat sailor (in the prison), Skeleton, normal shark, monkey. $60: Battle for Loot Island / Intended as an entry-point for the theme, as well as the core of the story; this would be a sandy island with a booby-trapped treasure cove and two rowboats. Minifigs: Pirate Captain, Pirate, Redcoat Officer, Redcoat soldier, Skeleton, normal shark. $30: Shipwreck Standoff / A relatively small shipwreck with a piece of hull and a small mast with tattered sail, as well as a bit of land; also includes a cannon and some breakaway sections. Minifigs: Two Pirates, Redcoat soldier (with another cannon), Skeleton. $20: Pirate Raft / Basically a direct remake of the Castaway's Raft. Minifigs: Two pirates, normal shark. $20: Sea Shanty / A small, cobbled-together shack (like the Smuggler's Shanty). Minifigs: Two pirates, monkey. Note: This is a wishlist/response to a prompt only!
  8. That would look amazing, and could include some really cool features! Maybe the truck and hot air balloon from the Temple of Anubis could also be included?
  9. We did. We have already gotten these in past CMF series, and probably will again at some point. I was thinking of things that have not really been represented in CMF form yet. The main six are Johnny Thunder, Pippin Reed, Dr. Kilroy, Harry Cane, Baron von Barron, and Sam Sinister. More importantly, however, is that Adventurers should be able to have adventures! Even if LEGO can make CMFs for them, I would prefer that Adventurers return as a proper theme.
  10. While a good choice, the Battrax seems unlikely due to its reuse of the Invader's nose slope (which would have been printed in the Blacktron Cruiser GWP if LEGO had planned to make the Battrax as well). It should be an easy MOC/mod of the Invader GWP, though - I will probably try it at some point.
  11. They definitely could update the Vector Detector to modern standards, IMO, but since the Particle Ionizer is more iconic and easier to adapt, I feel like that would be what we get if there is an M;Tron GWP.
  12. Good point, though I am not sure that we can consider it to have originated in the GWP if we see it reappear within the next few months (it came out in April). The Forestmen torso and shield were obviously made for the Lion Knights’ Castle, and the GWP just got them a bit early, so there is precedent for this. Another factor may be the “change” budget for GWPs - Maybe we can get new prints or a recolour, but not both. 🫤
  13. I agree; one classic theme Series per year makes the most sense (Space 2024, Castle 2025, Pirates 2026 (to coincide with a new remake), perhaps?). I wonder what other classic themes could get CMFs - Adventurers, Aquazone, Rock Raiders, and Alpha Team could just be revived as full themes, so what else is there for a CMF line? LEGO Island would be cool, but I feel like the characters could easily just be incorporated into City (as Rocker Racer has been).
  14. Thinking about it more, the best options are probably the Blacktron I Alienator and the Space Police I Spy-Trak I; both would tie in with a scaled-up Renegade, both can be made with existing parts and minimal new prints, and they would provide a nice conflict dynamic with each other.
  15. You are right; some are been smaller, but I think that the remake GWPs will remain around be same size of the Forestmen’s Hideout and Blacktron Cruiser (both to allow for larger and more detailed models, as well as to be able to have a higher price threshold for them). Looking at the Vector Detector by today’s standards, it seems like a polybag build. I do think that the Alienator is a possibility, though, and would be a good choice. Good point; I suppose that they could use trans-bright green, but I think that would be better for Blacktron II than M;Tron. Along these lines, we do not currently have a large enough trans-green canopy for the SPII Rebel Hunter (and it would also require at least four new prints!), so that actually seems more unlikely as I continue to think about it. We generally do not get recolours in GWPs, but both this and this are currently in-production in trans-red. I am leaning more towards the Spy-Trak I over the Galactic Peace Keeper, since it is larger, and since we need a decent ground vehicle after getting so many ships and tiny rovers/hovercraft. Also, these wheels are available in black!
  16. They actually can hold things. Aside from the Spacebus and Dream Village, the Dreamzzz sets have more normal Minifigs than dreamfigs; additionally, it seems like LEGO is treating dreamfigs as equal to Minifigs (aforementioned sets aside), as seen when comparing sets like 71453 and 71454 (same price, similar part count, and two ‘figs). Also, the Nightmare Shark Ship has six total ‘figs (4 Minifigs and 2 dreamfigs), as does the Destiny’s Bounty (which has more pieces and is $20 more expensive). Overall, the only set where I think that LEGO “cheaped” on regular Minifigs is the Spacebus.
  17. Both the trans-green and trans-red canopies from the GotG3 sets are available, albeit out of stock. @danth
  18. The Mission Commander is blue with black as a secondary colour, so unless the image was very blurry (in which case, how would the person who saw it know about the head-swapping feature?), I doubt that it would be described as a “black spaceship”. Renegade is the only thing that makes any sense. The main colour here is green, though. 🫤 BTW, what are our guesses for the GWPs? Since the original Forestmen’s Hideout had 194 pieces and two Minifigs, and the original Blacktron Invader had 148 pieces and one Minifig, I think that we can extrapolate some likely candidates for GWP remakes. My guesses are the 6897 Rebel Hunter, 6895 Spy-Trak I, and 6923 Particle Ionizer; other possibilities that lie just outside the range are the 6891 Gamma V Laser Craft and 6931 FX-Star Patroller.
  19. We have both names and numbers for the other in-house action themes (Ninjago, Dreamzzz), and we got some information about Lunar New Year sets (also LEGO-exclusive) in @Brick Clicker’s latest video; we have nothing for Monkie Kid.
  20. The GWPs are exclusive to LEGO.com and LEGO stores, but the others should be available from at least Amazon, and likely other retailers as well.
  21. Reed and Black Bolt were the only ones that were particularly graphic, and we have gotten recreations of brutal scenes in LEGO form before (Duel of the Fates, Anakin vs. Obi-Wan, Palpatine’s Arrest, Obi-Wan vs. Grievous, etc).
  22. That part is not new - It has been used for Thanos (twice!) and has appeared in the Lunar New Year parade.
  23. I disagree, since they have normal heads, headgear, accessories, and sometimes even printing. Also, I feel like trying to make Z-Blob or the Dreamling mushrooms as Minifigs would look strange and not give the same whimsical feel that the Grimspawn bodies do.
