  1. BDP Link We need to get this made!! @danth
  2. I saw those as well, but I felt that the one I linked fit the design language of Star Wars well enough to actually be a real vehicle.
  3. A TIE Walker (not a real vehicle, BTW) would actually be cool as a crazy EU vehicle like the TIE Crawler. I was thinking primarily about 1.) what Minifigs LEGO has in production right now, 2.) playability, and 3.) colours. Vader's mech is black, so Palpatine or RotJ Luke would overlap too much for each set to stand out on shelves, but we still need some heroes to fight the 2023 mechs - Hence pilot Luke. Mando is an obvious choice, and I chose Cody because Clones are popular and he has been locked behind the AT-TE for long enough that all AFOLs have already gotten him (meaning that LEGO can now release him in a cheap set). I doubt that we will get a 501st mech (for a few years, at least, until we get a Rex mech), since there are two $20 sets with 501st Clones on shelves right now (meaning that there would be no draw for the mech).
  4. The Underworld is a Realm, and can only be accessed mystically (via dragons, Traveller's Tea, the Realm Crystal, etc). Even if the comics are canon, the Bone Weapons are not connected to the Merge. Except that we have an anthro animal character in this season, and it would be weird for have him come from a Realm other than Chima. As for the Mergequakes, they could just be portals from one part of the world to another. Arin gets called it by some Imperium kids, though, so it seems to be their name for anyone from another Realm.
  5. Probably (barring a massive flop in sales), since the sets are already designed and in production. My guesses would be Mando (brown or dark grey with flat silver accents, Darksaber accessory), P2 Cody, and Rebel Pilot Luke.
  6. Regarding Chewie with longer legs:
  7. I watched all ten episodes, and I really enjoyed them; the return to a 22-minute-long runtime was absolutely the right decision, and I am looking forward to seeing the second half of the season! Some non-spoiler comments: - Buy the Cole and Zane EVO dragons, if you have not already. - I am not sure why we got black-armoured Imperium hunters and guards, since they did not appear in the show (though this may be a matter of the show using prototype designs (which we can see with the Bounty, Hound, Heatwave dragon, and Sora's mech), and the black-armoured characters were later additions). Perhaps they will appear in the second half, or in later seasons. - All dragons that we get in the sets (aside from the 4+ set) appear in the show (to include the Bounty dragon, surprisingly). - I like the running theme of symbiotic relationships vs. exploitive ones. - Basic Spinjitzu seems more powerful and versatile this season, which is cool and makes for some very enjoyable fights. - Language matters! Some pacing issues that I felt while watching the episodes in Chinese were resolved when I actually understood what was going on. - Arin is literally Batman. - The Core Bone Warriors are from the Underworld, so that may mean that the Core comics are not canon (I have not read them, so I am not sure if their place of origin was stated). - In future waves, we need a Dr. LaRow (Imperium scientist) Minifig, Sora's mech in flight mode, the Dragon Matriarch (green dragon), some better Imperium flyers, and more gold Imperium soldiers.
  8. Really? The differences are quite obvious to me (sand blue undersuit, dark tan or olive green cloak (depending on the lighting), sand green vambraces and jet pack, pouches on the sides of the belt (not in the middle) vs. light grey undersuit, dark green cloak, dark red vambraces, blue jet pack, pouches around the entire belt). This is not the same thing as using ESB Boba in a RotJ set; this set is a Battle Pack, so the build is not the main draw of the set. Additionally, since BPs quite often just include crappy little tablescrap builds, a decent (albeit somewhat small) version of a real vehicle is welcome IMO. Also, Vaughn is not "completely wrong"; the only way to make him more accurate would be to give him a printed visor, which LEGO obviously cannot/will not do (otherwise Cody would have gotten a printed visor as well). The RotJ anniversary sticker on the box is just branding (like the CW'03 anniversary sticker on the 2017 BF2 Clone Battle Pack); the box art clearly depicts the asteroid field scene from ESB. As for Sloane, she is a difficult character to include in any set, as she has only appeared in comics, books, and one game (Squadrons) - The latter of which is the inspiration for her inclusion in this set, given her rank and proximity to a TIE Bomber (also, Sloane was actually present during the Battle of Endor, though she had the rank of Admiral by then). The Dwarf Spider Droid is just a small side-build to provide some conflict, though I do think that it should have been a Crab Droid. This is hardly the same as including the wrong version of Boba, however, and the actual contents of the set (box art aside) correspond accurately to the Battle of Yerbana (though I doubt that this was LEGO's intention). Padmé was near the Coruscant Guard LAATs in the episode where they appeared, albeit wearing a different outfit from the one that is rumoured for the set. More broadly, however, both Padmé and The Senate are somewhat difficult to include in the sets that LEGO generally makes, as they both typically stay out of the large battles that we typically get sets for (though Padmé could absolutely be added to an Anakin's JSF set!); thematically, though, Padmé, Sheev, and Fox make sense to include in a Coruscant Guard LAAT, despite their inclusion not being an accurate recreation of any scene(s). Non-Canon material can and should be be made into sets, and this has nothing to do with ESB Boba in a RotJ set. There is concept art of such a fight, and (IIRC) according to Katee Sackhoff, the scene actually exists but was cut for time. This is probably just a matter of LEGO not getting concept art of the cyborg piloting the spider tank. Mechs (like Microfighters) are gimmick sets, so the builds are just meant to be toys rather than recreations of any particular scenes. In the cross-sections book that also provided the interior design of the AT-AT (sand blue chairs, speeder bike placement, etc); there was also an action figure of the Hoth Scout. True, but we only got two sets for Kenobi, so some things needed to be compressed. Additionally, having Tala in her accurate costume would have been a spoiler, as she only appeared in trailers in her Imperial uniform. Also, Obi-Wan wore the outfit from the Scythe set during the scene when those three Inquisitors arrived in said ship; no fight took place, but the contents of the set are accurate. True, but I appreciate getting a new trooper variant in a generic Imperial vehicle set (a variant that was unlikely to appear outside of an Imperial lander set, since an accurate set for that episode would just be a massive Battle Pack with some rock builds!). This is just objectively false (see 1:40). That set is weird; I think that Mandalore Ahsoka and the 332nd Trooper were late additions that got thrown into an AAT to capitalise on TCW S7. This is probably your best piece of evidence, though I do not think that it is equivalent to using ESB Boba in place of RotJ Boba. No, but they at least appear in the same movie (and Rey does fight near the KoR); Kylo (redeemed Ben) would arguably have been a better choice, but I understand why LEGO went with a more obvious hero character.
  9. That version has the Returns Batsuit torso, not the '89 one.
  10. The Batmobile looks pretty good, though the gear needs to be removed and Joker's face is bad; I also think that it is at least $5 overpriced, and it needs a third Minifig. Getting the '89 Batsuit torso with the Batsymbol printed on is great, and I have no idea why the Batcave did not include this variant. I do wish that we were getting the single-piece cowl and cape, though, with the Type-4 cowl as an alternate.
  11. Watch the scrapyard escape scene that LEGO posted in English on YouTube - The banter between Arin and Sora feels very classic Ninjago. I agree; 1HY 2024 will most likely be additional sets for the first season (absolutely no shot that we are not getting the green dragon!). My guesses would be a large (Jiro-size) green dragon with a few Imperium flyers ($100+), a set with two medium-sized dragons for Nya and either Kai or Cole (since the orange core can be used for either) and a larger Imperium vehicle (~$80-$95), and an Imperium headquarters/castle with Beatrix, Lord Ras, the scientist, two guards, Arin, Sora, and probably Lloyd; the set could include an Imperium vehicle (perhaps a jet?) that can be deployed from the building, and a small dragon that can be freed (~$150) - Among other sets, obviously! About the hound:
  12. The first two episodes leaked in German (note: I do not speak German, so there are obviously things that I missed!). Also, (this is not a spoiler) I was correct that most of the footage in the trailers is from the first two episodes. Spoilers, obviously:
  13. Good to see you back on the forum, @Kintobor - I hope that you are doing well! Since GAtS has unfortunately stalled out, can you share what you had planned for the end of Mission 8?
  14. I would recommend that you remove that link, since linking to leaked images can get you banned!
  15. Rebel BP hopium. . . Maybe with an Honor Guard? 🤔 Promobricks is saying that it is $21:
  16. It does not appear that the shield has a Minifig, which is good - I would hate for TFA or TWS Cap to be locked behind $200 worth of plates!
  17. Yavin Leia is a bit tricky to make, since her "cape" (seen from the front) is actually a kind of open sleeves (seen from the back); the most accurate rendition would probably be a combination of dual-moulded arms (with some printing on the top half) and a weird new cloth element (which would probably need to wrap around the hands, or else it would fly out to the sides of the figure). Best case scenario, I think that we could have gotten a flesh-coloured slit printed on the arms, but the Minifig actually looks decent otherwise.
  18. That is Cooper, not Logan. Logan is the one with the blue cap and letter 'M' sweatshirt.
  19. It is just the AT-TE (check @web_wex on Instagram for the full pages).
  20. I thought that Promobricks said it would be $21. 🤔 What the megabluck??! 🤯 $160 is insane for what we are getting! $100-$120 was what I thought that it would be, which is reasonable! I am definitely only buying this steeply discounted, or just getting a few Minifigs off BrickLink!
  21. "When Captain America throws his mighty. . . "
  22. Yavin needs an MBS rendition - Maybe 2025/2026? He has that as well; the scanner appears when the Falcon arrives (spear is propped up behind him), then he switches to holding the spear for the later establishing shot and when the fighters leave. Without printing on the visor and accompanying print changes on the helmet, I think that a dark red visor would look worse than the orange one. The only thing that would look better/more accurate than the official version is a custom, IMO.
  23. These are genuinely amazing; literally all of the sets look spectacular, with the only low-ish point being the Spacebus, which I think could have been whackier and more like an 80's-90's Space alt-build! Speaking of, I really like how each set has alternate configurations (which seem to feature in the show as well, making them feel less like the afterthought that alternate models can sometimes be). Thoughts on the show later, once I have watched it (it seems like a new episode comes out every three days on LEGO's YouTube channel?).
  24. The Fleet Trooper in the watchtower has a spear.
