The Blacktron Cruiser GWP had stickers, so that is possible; they could also make a single printed element that is used multiple times in the build (see the Viking village) and that can be reused in the Medieval Town Square, or make the dragon patterns brickbuilt. I fully expect the shieldsmith’s shop to have a bunch of Easter-eggs (as the Lions’ castle did), and I am very excited about that!

It looks like one of the cockpit-ships from the Deep Freeze Defender! Maybe you could do something like that, or go the Blacktron Invader route and attach a modular cargo bay and rear engine.

Shmi could come in a podracer set. The ST characters could be included in an Exegol set, so I doubt that they would be used as bonus Minifigs. Hondo is a great choice, but Cal also can be included in a set (FFS LEGO, just do a kriffing police gunship already!!).

Why are the rubber hoses bad for the bridge?

Given that it takes LEGO around two years to design and produce a set, and the licensing negotiations would have taken a bit of time as well, I would put the start of the LEGO-Lucasfilm talks in the mid-1990's (~1995-1997).

The promo has 365 pieces, so it is not going to be a downgrade (especially since the original set used mostly large '<insert that tiresome argument>' parts); the buy threshold is an issue, though. 🫤

They could just integrate the old Chima characters (gradually) into the Dragons Rising story. Also, there are a number of characters just in the first half of the first season who do not have Minifig counterparts, so I doubt that would keep them from using Chima characters.

I should have been more specific; I meant that all throwback tie-in GWPs have been remakes (Forestmen's Hideout, Blacktron Cruiser).

I agree; I wondered about Grogu's escape, since that is somewhat of an army-builder as well (as it will have at least one sidecar BARC and Clone). So, Malak confirmed; Revan maybe? Also, this is probably just me reading way too much into things, but I heard this post in Crosshair's voice.

Time to speculate: Who else could we get? Bastila Shan (because Revan and/or Malak) Padmé (any version; Theed or Geonosis would be easier, but her more elaborate outfits (Queen Amidala remake?) are less likely to feature in a normal set) Dexter Jettster (Dex's Diner is probably never coming, so getting him as a bonus Minifig is probably our only chance) Commander Ponds (not a major enough character to warrant an appearance in a regular set, but cool to have nonetheless) Waxer/Boil (because Fives) Mas Amedda (where else could he show up, aside from a RotS Yoda vs. Palpatine duel? (Actually, never mind; that would be cool and I want it)) Republic Crosshair (he could appear in a normal set, but it seems like we may not be getting any more TBB sets) Saw Gerrera (he could show up in a Fondor set, but LEGO has been dodging him for years) Mon Mothma (again, could appear in a set, but LEGO only ever managed to make her once (and passed on the opportunity to include her in Yavin IV!)) Rebels version of Sabine or Ezra (it seems unlikely that LEGO plans to revisit the series, unfortunately) Fenn Rau, Imperial Gar Saxon, Rook Kast (entirely hopium on my part!) So Revan confirmed, then? Also, do you know any of the other characters that will be included?

No KOTOR set, but this does open up the possibility of getting other fan-favourite characters throughout the wave! LETS KRIFFING GO!!! I would say no, simply because while Fives wore the P1 ARC Trooper helmet (fin variant) in his earlier appearances (such as the Citadel arc), he wore a standard P2 helmet in his more iconic arcs (Umbara and Clone chip). I am curious if the Clone vs. Droids battle pack or Grogu's escape have an extra Minifig; the former probably not, since we have the Minifig lineup already, but I could see one in the latter.

Are you suggesting that Revan/Malak and Fives are additional (20th Anniversary-style) Minifigs that will be added to otherwise unrelated sets?

I suspect that this is hinting that we will get Fives, rather than something tangentially-related to that scene (like a shuttle); there are other quotes that could be used to suggest a shuttle, and Fives is one of the most desirable non-Commander Clones, so it makes sense for him to show up somewhere eventually. Also, he is 501st, which increases the odds of us getting him. @Renown: Would LEGO ever put Fives and Rex in the same set?

Who posted that? It is probably a safe guess, but we do not currently know of any upcoming Castle sets aside from this and the Majisto GWP.

From what I can remember, it seemed similar to the 2013 Arkham Asylum (just a facade with minimal depth). The final version will almost certainly be the depth of a standard Modular (as the Bugle and Sanctum are).

There do not seem to be, based on our current information.
