  1. Sadly, I doubt that. New BAM parts are usually exclusive, and we have gotten parts in BAM before that could have appeared in normal sets (last year’s new Arin and Sora heads).
  2. Maybe? We have gotten new/exclusive Minifigs in Advent Calendars before (dark brown Old Luke, 4r/4b Imperial officer, Antoc Merrick, etc). Maybe this year’s calendar is Mando-themed? 🤔
  3. While I agree that the context points more towards Pershing, I am just not sure where he would appear.
  4. Fair point about modern prosthetics, but I think that a new mould would be good just from a visibility standpoint. Maybe something like a normal arm with grooves or dual-moulding to suggest internal mechanical components and an outer casing (and to make it look less natural than a normal arm). This kind of piece would also be easy to reuse for robots and cyborgs, so LEGO would get a lot of use out of it!
  5. Can you see if the Ice Planet helmet fits with the classic airtanks? The back seems flat enough, but interference is definitely possible (as with the City Space mining helmets).
  6. Good!! 👍 I would love a Zillo, but I feel like it is unlikely (especially since we have not gotten any of the arena creatures, Boga since 2005, or a Rancor in about a decade). That said, the new 3x3 curved limb pieces from the new Dreamzzz sets would work nicely for a Zillo’s limbs. 🤔 As for Renown’s hint, the options are either a character who was brainwashed or a character from “Big Brother” (the ISB); of these, ISB Yularen in the Death Star seems to be the most likely. Republic (or updated Imperial) Crosshair would be fantastic, but I am not sure where he would fit (unless LEGO makes him an anniversary ‘fig, but even that seems unlikely).
  7. I would not be surprised if the crooks’ hideout can just snap onto the left side of the harbour.
  8. It sort of feels like a “year 2” addition to the spacesuits; the astronauts encounter hostile wildlife or journey deep underground and need extra armour for protection. As for how to incorporate it, my plan is to use it mainly for the command colours, as I have not been able to find decent backpacks to use to make them into divisions of their own (and I have an increasing number of dark blues!). I was never sure whether to interpret his arm as a prosthetic or just as additional armour (since it matched the drill that he holds). As an aside, we really need a proper prosthetic arm piece! I agree; the lack of a reddish orange arm is my only real issue with that torso.
  9. Since the only images that leakers could have seen would be the box art, there is a chance that Rex has a new head (without bandage), so possibly not exactly the same as in the Venator. The only ISB officers seen on the Death Star in ANH are Yularen and the other guy seen walking with him outside the turbolifts; of these, Yularen is more likely to appear in the set. That said, I do doubt that @Renown’s quote is a hint towards a Minifig. 🫤
  10. I need these! The armour is amazing, and it not only matches all three of the main colours (plus the three darker “command” colours), but also serves as a great generic Space armour piece (something that I have been wanting for a while)! The alien head is really good (it reminds me of the Benzites), and the new torso looks excellent as well! I see the new torso as more of a jumpsuit worn in pressurised areas, than as a proper spacesuit. I plan to use it for scientists, control tower crew, space station personnel, etc.
  11. Surveillance in Star Wars could relate to the ISB, but there are plenty of other quotes that @Renown could have used to hint at that; I am unfortunately leaning towards option 2. 😕 I saw those as well, but renown’s past quotes have things said by or about specific characters. I also cannot remember them ever using a non-Star Wars quote.
  12. Car transporter looks really good, and will probably be larger than it seems right now (based on how it stacks up beside the Minifigs). It seems like it has a 5-6 car capacity, and the three that are included are a great selection of styles and colours. The harbour is excellent (finally one that is not made of a handful of massive single-use parts!); the pier also looks like it will be modular (or can be converted to modular), so incorporating future sets will be easy. While I do agree that the ship is a bit small, I am very happy about the return to brickbuilt hulls! The robot world coaster would not normally be something that I am into (I do not really care about rollercoasters), but the colour scheme is gorgeous and the building is very futuristic. Also, Stealth Hunter returns!
  13. Is this for the entire year, or just 1HY?
  14. Not likely; if airtanks were going to be included for when the astronauts are not sitting, then they would be wearing them when pictured standing (as they are on the box). Also, there does not appear to be anywhere to store the removed airtanks; LEGO rarely includes loose pieces in sets without some kind of storage area.
  15. That is cute but sparse, and the lack of airtanks is disappointing (though both colours are readily available). I am very happy that the CS orange torso is available again, though considering that the sign and menu look like stickers, it will probably stay exclusive to the GWP (as they usually can get 1-2 new prints). I agree, but I would feel better about it if we got new/remade colours of spacemen; just putting white into every set (without proper airtanks!) is getting tiresome.
  16. Leader needs more new printing and possibly a new head mould (or a reuse/recolour of the Thanos head, depending on his appearance), while Diamondback can be made with just a single new torso print (plain legs, reused head, and pink hair from EIA). If they quickly scrap “Ruth”, then they may not have the time or budget to replace her with an equally-detailed Minifig. I would honestly not be surprised if they just drop her without a replacement, or cobble together a President Ross with existing parts. 🫤
  17. All branches use the same double-line rank after Yavin (with a couple of exceptions), so Army and Navy lieutenants both have 2r/2b. While referred to as a lieutenant, he wears the rank of captain. Most likely. Do we know if that will also have an anniversary ‘fig?
  18. I was not taking it that far; I just meant that choosing to make Jedi Bob (a character who has only ever been depicted as yellow) light nougat on the poster recalls the Lando situation. Odd that we are getting two Imperial officers (generic, I assume?) but only one each of Imperial crew and Death Star Trooper. I assume that at least one of the four unidentified Minifigs will be a gunner, and another will be Tarkin; hopefully we get Motti/Tagge/Romodi/Bast as well. I doubt that it will be Nien, since none of the other anniversary Minifigs correspond to the instalment depicted by the main set (Saw in TPM, Fives in ANH, Malak in Artoo). It is unlikely that we will get any double-line ranks in a strictly ANH set (which I am assuming this is, since we did not even get Mon Mothma in Yavin), so the most likely option for generic officers is Security/Stormtrooper captains (black uniform, four blue).
  19. More likely in a CMF at some point, honestly. 🫤 I really hope that LEGO swaps Sabra/“Ruth” for Diamondback (she would realistically only need a new torso print)! Diamondback.
  20. The only other characters that have altered appearances are Gregor (corrected Clone skin colour) and the 332nd Jet Trooper (never an actual Minifig, but able to be made with existing parts); Jedi Bob (confirmed) and Zam Wesell stand out. I am a little disappointed that they chose to make Jedi Bob a fleshie, though, since it furthers the Lando debacle (yellow == White). Additionally, he could have stayed yellow and just been retconned into a near-Human (Nothoiin, Hrakian). True, though it is not nearly prominent enough to feel worthy of taking a new print or mould slot (unless they also make the Battlefront 2015 Magma Troopers). The only thing that I can think of (short of a yet-unleaked set) is for her to be the second Minifig in Jedi Bob’s starfighter. It sort of makes sense, as she is the only remaining 2002 Minifig not to be remade. Thrawn is his (inaccurate) Rebels Minifig, so I doubt that.
  21. I cannot see LEGO making a new specialised mould for the Mansion, though. 🫤 The post says that the 10 Minifigs are Wolverine, Cyclops, Mystique, Beast, Storm, Professor X, Magneto, “and more”. This leaves three open slots - Hopefully Jean, Gambit, and Jubilee. Mystique is a weird pick, IMO; she appears in the prototype (along with Sabertooth and Emma Frost), but Sinister would be a better villain to include.
  22. According to the illustrator of the poster, there are two characters that LEGO suggested be included. While he did not specify anyone outright, he did say that any new faces were not accidental; this seems to confirm Nien for a physical Minifig! The illustrator also said that he has not seen any discussion of the second character, which would seem to rule out fleshie Jedi Bob. Interestingly, Zam Wesell is depicted as a fleshie as well, though her design is the original 2002 one; yellow Han, Luke, and Qui-Gon appear on the poster, so it is a bit strange to depict her differently from her Minifig. Combined with the cancelled 2020 version that is being shown, I am beginning to wonder if we are somehow getting Zam in one of the upcoming sets - Maybe Nien is a non-anniversary character in the X-wing vs. TIE set (as suggested by others), and Zam is the mysterious second ‘fig in Jedi Bob’s starfighter? 🤔 Spacetroopers are just standard Stormtroopers with a backpack (no new detailing/printing), so they are easy to cobble together ourselves. Fun fact: There was only one Spacetrooper suit, so they used split-screen to make the two that we see in ANH!
