LEGO Star Wars 2024 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!!!
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think that is less reflective of how sets are typically developed and more so just that designers have sketch models of prominent Star Wars locations sitting around. -
I meant that if we are getting comic Babs in the 4+ Batcave, perhaps the Batmobile will just have a similar design to BtAS but will include comic Minifigs. Batman and Joker’s last appearance was 2023, Harley’s was 2022, and Rebirth Batgirl’s was 2021; I can honestly see LEGO more-or-less just reusing those for this year’s sets. 🫤

71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!
Classic_Spaceman replied to Megbricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
True. Ideally, we would get both a normal fully Human Blacktron II astronaut and a fully-mutated one in the (now-mythical) Icons black spaceship, with the CMF being a halfway point, but I highly doubt that will happen. 🫤 Ah, right! 👍 -

You should spoiler tag this, as not everyone has had a chance to watch the trailer. -
I wonder what colour and size of wheels we will get; the safe bet would be a reuse of the white ones from the Dreamzzz spacecar.

That part is not new; the Series 15 faun used it first, along with the Series 25 harpy and the Series 26/Space Buggoid Elite. -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I expect Rocket and Ronan to both be reused in the Milano, and for the Guardians to have their dark red Ravager suits (probably with the same legs for Quill, Gamora, and Drax). -

I actually missed that the first time through! I think that it takes place later in the season, since episode 12 is called "Juggernaut" (and considering who we see in those clips). That is supposed to still be Canon, so it would be a continuation. Maybe this is what Barriss is being saved for? 🤔 "Death and resurrection are common deceptions. . . ". -

71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!

The issue is that the legs prevent a non-mutated Blacktron II Minifig from being made with the pieces. I would have preferred to get a plain Blacktron II astronaut and a mutated City astronaut as separate Minifigs (instead of mutated Blacktron and a NASA spacesuit). This. -
I can see us getting at least one new canopy in trans-purple, since neither used in the base would really work for a rover.

Main Street Mafia 3 - Confirmation and Discussion

Confirming! 🙂 -
Nice catch! If the image is mirrored (which is easy to do with Zane, as he is the most symmetrical of the OG Ninja), then you could be right. I actually like the distinction of the original Ninja having uniform team suits while the new characters have a more unique and personalised wardrobe; it sets them apart, and allows LEGO to expand the roster without worrying about overlap (e.g. having to make Wyldfyre the dark red Ninja, not to be confused with the normal red Ninja Kai (who has also worn dark red)!). Also, it means that Skylor can come back without being confused with Arin (a concern that I had when his colour was first revealed). That said, I do expect that Arin and Sora will get new suits at some point (Wyldfyre already got one) - Maybe climber and/or tournament variants?

I am wondering if it will be in-scale with the new CSI van (eight studs wide) and have a trailer; that would probably bring us up to 700-800 pieces, and the rest can be used for a small storefront or container yard side-build. The 998-part, $80 car transporter also backs up this theory; removing the crime lab portion of the CSI van and replacing it with ramps, then adding three ~100 piece cars (fairly standard for six-wides) would get us close to the official set IMO.

Seven (not counting the polybag), with at least two more on there way in 2HY. You may be right.

He is supposed to be partially-mutated. My main issue with the Blacktron mutant is that they combined two good concepts (Blacktron II remake, mutated astronaut) into one mediocre ‘fig; there is no way to make a normal Blacktron II update (due to the asymmetrical legs), but the mutated aspect also feels very tame (I would have liked to see some damaged suit printing on the torso and a new moulded head). -
I wonder if LEGO will ever make sets based on the Arkham games. We have gotten sets for Batman ‘66, Keaton, BtAS, Nolan, Batfleck, and Battinson, and aside from a few more Nolan sets (Batpod (though we may get that this year), camo Tumbler remake, Bat remake), LEGO is running out of well-known film/TV Batman content (they could make sets for the Schumacher films, but I am not sure how popular they would be!). Most of the Arkham games are rated T (with Knight being rated M), so that could be an issue, but there are a wide enough range of villains, Batsuits, and Bat-vehicles that LEGO could easily get a few solid waves out of the franchise.
