Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures
Classic_Spaceman replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You just made me realise that LEGO could do a partially-cloaked Shadow Trooper now! Something like the CMF Orion 'fig with a solid helmet and torso, then clear (printed) legs with solid hips and at least one clear arm (maybe with a light grey hand?). Torso and helmet would have light grey cloak shimmering/fading details to continue the effect, and to make the hand(s?) stand out less. -
Mix of 2 and 3 is the most likely, IMO. Adventurers does not have enough characters to fill an entire CMF series (and the charters are not popular/iconic enough for variants to sell), and I doubt that they will bring the entire theme back (since the current business model is 3+ years, tie-in show, etc).

None that I am aware of.

Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Classic_Spaceman replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Sinister is an excellent choice, but I would prefer to get him in regular set (so that we can finally have a villain that is not Magneto!) - Maybe a a lab set for him, and then throw Bastion into a Stratojet set? My idea was to include one of the characters that feature prominently in the movies (Sabertooth, Mystique) as Magneto's "henchman" for the Mansion. -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Classic_Spaceman replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This would actually be much easier if LEGO City Adventures were still going; Gracie Goodhart was stated to be from a different city (and she has a British accent and wears a British police uniform!), so Castle could be integrated by having at least parts of the season take place in Gracie’s city. Yep. I see the 2024 City Space sets as a successor to older City space and Town Space Port (sub)themes, and a predecessor to the 2000’s Space themes (Mars Mission, Galaxy Squad); the classic themes take place much farther into the future, IMO. -

Heavies are easy to cobble together if you have a black pauldron, though the ammo pouch design from Battlefront would be nice to get at some point. Personally, I would rather see a few separate Imperial packs - One is the ISD add-on, another could be a J:FO/J:S pack with 2x Purge Troopers, 1x Flame Trooper, and 1x Electrostaff Scout Trooper. We would also need the various Imperial specialist troopers, environmental variants, and Army/Security troopers, but I am not going to get that far into wishlisting here! -
Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion

Agreed, though I personally hope that Rogue stays exclusive to the Blackbird, so that we can get an additional character. My guesses: Professor X (dark green suit), Wolverine (reuse), Cyclops (reuse, maybe with proper legs?), Jean Grey (bright light orange and regular blue), Beast (lab coat), Storm (Mohawk is more likely, but her original ‘92 hair would be nice), Gambit, Jubilee, Magneto (red and purple), and either Morph (if the focus is on the X-Men, and they want to give us proper legs for Cyclops) or Sabertooth (if they want to reference the first movie and give Wolverine someone to fight). Mystique is another option for a tenth Minifig, given her prominence in the movies. I want both, but I do hope that they pick a single era just for the sake of team cohesion (and because ‘80s Storm needs a new hairpiece mould!). -

Definitely in the comics (which the original Cyclops Minifig is based on), but -

My personal hope for an Imperial battle pack (if we get one) is: 2x Stormtrooper, 1x Imperial crew (either colour cap, new female head), 1x Imperial Navy Trooper (new female head). Obviously, I would love to get the Army and Security troopers (with and without armour) and generic officers that we see in Andor, but a Star Destroyer tie-in feels more likely. We also need Neyo and the 91st! -

I just realised that we may have another shot at proper Cyclops legs in the future: Also, another set idea: -
71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!
Classic_Spaceman replied to Megbricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Not yet! I did check back and one store had restocked, but all but seven were gone by the time I got there. No Spacebaby, but I did manage to pull another M:Tron, two Beatlezoids, and a Blacktron mutant. -

The leak also mentioned Vader, Stormtrooper(s), Imperial officer(s), Imperial crew, etc, that ended up being in the ISD. -

Ezra appeared in the anniversary video, so he has to show up somewhere. I do think that we should temper expectations somewhat, since Peridea has always seemed too good to be true (Ahsoka the White, Thrawn, Nightsister markings Morgan, Ezra, and Enoch all in the same set??). -
71046 CMF series 26: Space themed!
Classic_Spaceman replied to Megbricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I doubt that, since most of the people who want the Ice Planet explorer would also probably want the M:Tron astronaut as well. I can see LEGO purposely splitting those up, however, so that you cannot get both classic remakes in the same 6-pack. -

I would personally like to see multiple Sentinel sets: A Sentinel mech with Sentinel Minifig, a Surtur-size Sentinel with 1-2 X-Men (80’s Wolvie and Cyclops, maybe?), and a Master Mold/Sentinel 2-in-1 buildable figure. Buildable figures are probably the closest to properly Minifig-scale Sentinels, but they are somewhat impractical to army-build; Surtur-scale is a bit small, but it is better for building up a decent number. Having both available allows us to get a Master Mold at a reasonable size, while still allowing him to be significantly larger than the normal Sentinels. I would rather get comic/‘97-based sets, since Mystique is the only FOX-Men design that is actually interesting and unique. 🫤 -

The Space Police Guy legs definitely look the best, which is unfortunate. 🫤 My unrealistic hope is that we get unmutated legs in a set sometime soon (maybe the Ideas Minifig prize machine?), along with a recoloured City Space helmet in black/white and a regular visor in trans-bright green. -

Benny has a damaged logo design and cracked helmet, so this is already covered. -

What if the Mon Calamari is actually one of the Geonosian Jedi from the trailer? That would make more sense, and it would make the set far more desirable! I mean, maybe? The ISD and Tantive IV boarding sets are nowhere close to being in-scale with each other, but they are connected by the inclusion of Praji in the ISD (who was only seen on the Tantive IV, and not on an ISD). I can see something similar happening with a potential gunship and the “Rebuild the Galaxy” sets. The trailer shows a bunch of P1 Clones and Geonosians, but we seem to be only getting one of the former in the sets; an AotC gunship would kill two womp rats with one stone, since we could get both a soft tie-in with “Rebuild the Galaxy” and the normal gunship that we have been asking for since the 2023 one was revealed to be Coruscant Guard livery. Also, Jedi Bob appeared in the original 2002 Republic Gunship set, and we just got B2s back earlier this year (who had their first appearance in the same set). 🤔 -

With this Minifig lineup, what was @Renown’s hint about?? While the show looks fun, particularly with the emphasis on meme characters, I do not think that it deserves to take up three sets - Just Jedi Bob and Darth Jar Jar would have been enough. Additionally, I am a bit disappointed that they did not lean completely into the inverted character alignments. The original characters created for the show are not as appealing as something like Grand Moff Bail Organa or Rebel general Yularen. 🫤 -
LEGO needs to give us dual-moulded and printed legs for that suit! The boots and trunks are just too prominent for them to get away with using plain ones. I noticed this as well; it is interesting, since most Superman capes (particularly movie ones) attach closer to the neck. The Asgardian cape would actually look better and more accurate than the traditional fabric ones.

The exterior of the ISD looks good, but the interior is very cramped and disappointing (though the holo-table is clever); the proportions are also somewhat off, making it look almost midi-scale. As for the Minifigs, I like that we get Praji (albeit without a proper head) and Cal, new generic heads for Imperial crew and Navy Troopers, and an updated grey crew jumpsuit that matches the newer TIE pilots’ black ones. Other than that, however, they are quite disappointing! Only six Imperials, only one officer, that kriffing reused inaccurate Vader (this is two ANH-specific sets that we have gotten without a new torso print for Vader!), and no BD-1 for Cal. This is for Praji, who appears in the ISD. I am curious about the 1984 quote, since it does not appear to be referring to this set. 🤔 -
