  1. Yelana leaned against the desk as Collette scurried about. "Thanks - Okay. . . Can you see if there are any known connections between LRTS and Hart Logistics? And what do you have on Con'stap? Baggage claim at the station, security, corporations that operate the refineries - And does Oc|Tan have any facilities there?" Yelana adjusted her hair while thinking out-loud. "Let's see . . Luxury rail means suits, and only two cars means a handful of them, so we won't be able blend in with a crowd - We'll need a cover story. Baggage car's the most likely place for the package to be, but considering its value, it may be on someone's person. Depends on the size, though. . . Um. . . Do you know where I can access the passenger and cargo manifests? And what safety features the train's equipped with? You know, in case of an emergency stop?" Yelana paused. "Oh! - Do you know if Heroica has any empty, lockable, shipping containers lying around? Rachel. . . Sprocketson? . . might know, but I don't know where she works. I think I've got a plan - Or, well, part of one anyway. . ."
  2. Yelana entered the Library, searching for the Cricet that Thorvald told her about. Walking up to the desk, she looked at the tiny creature in front of her. "Hello? Collette, right? I'm Yelana Fennix - I'm prepping for a mission, and Thorvald said you could help me." As she stood at the desk, Yelana looked around at the clutter that surrounded her - Even with her visor, Yelana wondered how she would be able to find the information that she needed. "I need you to pull everything Heroica has on-file about the Boreal Express on Oquim - Ownership, routes, stops, schematics and composition, standard security protocols, and anything else I might need."
  3. Are you thinking of something that breaks apart on impact, like S.H.I.E.L.D.'s I.C.E.R. rounds?
  4. "You're thinking of the Stratitarians - You know, from Akharif? Anyway. . . " Yelana yawned - What little of her tea she had been able to drink had not done much to wake her up. "Same. You should check the Library sometime later - I'll be there. . . after I take a nap!" Later, in Yelana's Apartment: "<. . . so it could be self-replicating, not indestructible.>" "<That's what I was thinking.>" "<I'll have my team look over it - And you should get some rest!>" "<I'm getting ready to.>" "<Good - I'll talk to you later.>" "<Bye.>" The hologram of Yannika faded away as Yelana stood up from the sofa. Brushing a few empty water bottles onto the floor, she flopped back onto the cushions. "Ow!" Yelana took the chopsticks out of her hair before lying down again, deactivating her visor as she did so. Four Hours Later: Yelana walked back into the Hall, feeling somewhat more refreshed after her nap. Surprised at the number of new arrivals, she decided to check the Library before introducing herself to anyone else.
  5. @Peppermint_M: What damage type (Kinetic/Energy/Elemental) is Aysu's rifle?
  6. "Is Ne'xo Chi in the Marches? Some call it the 'Rumi Star Cluster', if that helps - It's a region of space located outside the Arm, and it sounds like what you're describing." "What? No - It's the programming language used to code devices that connect to the Ætherspace, and, when the code's written a specific way, it can be used to give machines actual sentience. Have you really never heard of the Adamites?" Dropping to one knee in order to get a better scan of Polaris' leg, Yelana glanced up at the Chimeran. "You know, 'magic' is just catch-all term for tech and phenomena we don't completely understand - I haven't seen anything like this before. . . " Yelana trailed off, remembering her mission to Gnorra. ". . . Yeah, this is really weird. I don't know. . . " Standing back up, Yelana adjusted the chopsticks in her hair. "I. . . hope I haven't been too intrusive - I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable, and I'm sorry if I have."
  7. @Waterbrick Down: While we are making minor corrections; I noticed that the Training Center thread has the following text: "I’m currently assembling a training regime" - While 'regime' can actually be used here, I assume that this is a typo of 'regimen', as that is the more common word to use in this context.
  8. "I. . . What? Did I say something? Oh, sorry - My visor has a psychic component, part of the neural interface, actually, so sometimes I can pick up on emotional changes, fleeting thoughts, that kind of thing." Yelana took a chopstick out of her hair and began twirling it between her fingers. "I like learning about different cultures, and I really do think you've led an interesting life. I think my voice is just fast, and permanently set on 'sarcasm'!" Still twirling her chopstick, Yelana paused for a moment to think. "Well, a lot of what I've done is classified, but let's see. . . Uh, I work for the organisation most people know as 'The Triad', I'm a spy and an intel analyst - I've worked on everything from cloakbreaking to threat-assessment - and I was recently promoted to field agent. Oh, and I have a twin sister, 'Yannika'." "Where's your homeworld - your new one - and how long ago did they attack? I actually met one of these recently - They call themselves 'War Bots', and the one that I met claimed that they're sentient. Not sure if that's true - I didn't think to scan its internal composition, so I can't confirm if they're wired with Livecode or not." "Sadly, there's a lot of that going around - Corporations have been hiring wounded veterans of the War as a PR move, then sending them to work in the Nendaran scrap fields. Advanced cybernetics are a thing - it's just that most governments don't give a shit." Yelana sighed as she slipped the chopstick back into her hair, tucking a loose strand back behind her ear as she did. "If you don't mind, could I take a closer look at your leg? I've never encountered a weapon that can crystallise organic tissue like that. . . matter transmutation, probably. Do you know who set it?"
  9. "I like that - It sounds like a fascinating experience." "Ah, thanks - I'll definitely go talk to her." "Oof. I'm sorry you had to go through that - the War really gave xenophobes an excuse to run rampant, all under the guise of their buIIshit being a 'political stance'." Yelana shook her head. "Not markings, necessarily, but composition, internal construction - things like that can tell me where it may have been built, or who built it, or at least its purpose. Oh, and. . . <Access visual data - Playback. . . Stop - Project>" A hologram of the mysterious robots that Yelana had seen flickered into the air, projected from her visor. "I spotted these two standing in the doorway after you crashed in - Have you seen anything like them before?"
  10. OK - Thank you. 👍 Could we have a section devoted to the unique foods and beverages of the universe? I ask, since between the number of references to foods/drinks, the fact that one of our PCs is a chef, and my own personal interest in food, the culinary lore of the game is going to expand quickly! I would like a place to describe things in more detail (outside of RP), and that can facilitate a degree of continuity.
  11. "I take it you've not been to Typhon lately - That. . . thing doesn't look like New Force tech, but there are some suspiciously well-funded terrorist groups operating outside the ITA's reach."
  12. Yelana had just picked her tea back up when the Hall's doors flew off of their hinges. Dropping her cup, she drew her fists back. "Shit! What the hells?! And I left my rifle in my apartment! <Scan combatants - Identify!>" <SCANNING. . . SUBJECTS ARE AN EXO-SUIT WITH A CHIMERAN PILOT AND A BIOMECHANICAL DRONE OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN AND CONFIGURATION> "<How do I. . . >" "<. . . Nevermind>" "Hmmmm. . . " "I'd like to take a closer look at it, if that's okay. Oh, and, uh, sorry about the cup. . . "
  13. "Huh. . . I guess I'm not as familiar with the region as I'd thought." "'Varuth'? And. . . um, how do you worship a god of travel in an abbey? I'm genuinely curious - I've never heard of your religion before. It sounds interesting." "Oh, that reminds me - " Yelana reached over to the Missionboard, and, tapping a few buttons, signed up for Mission 1. As she turned back to Zaria, Yelana looked over the bar towards Thorvald. "Um, excuse me - Do you happen to know who owns the Boreal Express hover train on Oquim?"
  14. This is what I was thinking - The major story beats occurred, but minor details/dialogue/etc can be retconned without issue. I actually consider it to have taken place roughly one week before the main game launched (See Yelana's comment about just having gotten back from her first Heroica mission about a week ago), so that @Duvors and I can continue with our characters more-or-less as they were in Mission Zero, and so that @Endgame can pick up where he left off with worldbuilding elements (e.g. Cydonians, etc). Also, Heroica has only existed (in-universe) for two years, so this interpretation would probably complicate the timeline a bit. 😕
  15. It is? I was under the impression that it was being treated like the old Star Wars EU - Loosely canon unless directly contradicted. That is how I have been considering it, at least.
  16. "Ah, got it. Thanks." Yelana looked over the bar at Soren. "That's Enson; when he gets back, you should ask him about the noise issue - He's been here longer than I have, so he should know."
  17. "Nice to meet you, too!" "Relatively - I just got back from my first mission less than a week ago. My first mission for Heroica, I should say." "So you're from Kharza' Fal, then? I thought I recognised that armour. I'm somewhat familiar with the region, but I've never actually been there. And you said 'The West Marches'? From what I've heard, the inhabitants call that sector the 'Rumi Star Cluster' - Is that true?"
  18. "Yes - That! Thank you." "Sounds good - Hole-in-the-wall pizzerias are the only way to go! Now I just have to find Little Aluriel. . . this station is a godsdamn maze." Yelana leaned against the bar as she waited for her tea, before reaching her hand out to the Elf across from her. "Hi - I'm Yelana Fennix."
  19. Yelana sat back, occasionally finding it easier to think when her visor was deactivated - Ever since she had downloaded Ornithun Chop, at least. As an alert chime in her ear startled her more than it should have, Yelana realised that she was getting a bit sleepy. Yawning, she stood up and placed her finger on her temple - An orange visor materialised in an instant. "Secc'a Xi'adat - Oh, just notifications. I forgot I had them enabled." Yelana walked across the Hall to the bar, giving the clumsy Elf a smirk as she did, before addressing the bartender. "Hi, 'Thorvald', was it? I'd like a cup of Crimson Chai - large - with a splash of cream and a few. . . I'm blanking on the name, it's those little glowing pink crystals from Phejhar, you know, the traditional sweetener? And a croissant - Actually, make it two, it'll save you a trip!" Yelana looked over to the Missionboard, then glanced briefly back at Thorvald. "By the way, do you know where I can find good pizza around here? Most places just serve the thick kind, or. . . uulrp. . . that pizza-lasagna hybrid shit. Ew."

  21. The app lists these as "Discowboy" and "Samurap", respectively.
  22. I doubt that, since Fennec's kama is cut at a unique angle and would need to be printed with orange stripes - It is simply easier for LEGO to print everything onto her legs (since she would need leg printing anyway) than it is to make a new cloth element. Additionally, the restrictiveness of cloth kamas would make posing a dynamic character like Fennec irritatingly difficult. 😬
  23. I am 99.99% sure that the Beskar spear will be depicted with a standard spear in Flat Silver. I see no need for either a new mould or a recolour.
  24. The part in-question is only slightly curved, and it has a flat blade with a notched tip and is specifically designed to fit into a lightsaber hilt - Barring an entirely new piece (which I agree is unlikely, as well as unwarranted), this part is the best choice for the Darksaber, IMO (and certainly better than just a black bar!). This exact weapons pack was recoloured in white for a single $50 Ninjago set, so a recolour in black for Gideon's Light Cruiser is definitely not out of the question. Considering Echo, I would assume that Fennic's kama will be printed (which I actually do not mind, since getting a properly-shaped/printed cloth element is highly unlikely). As for her hair, I am not quite sure what LEGO will do. A recolour of Elsa's could work, but the braid is on the wrong side (though this would prevent the hair from interfering with posing the Minifig with a blaster). Makkari's hair (from Marvel's Eternals sets, and reused in the City wildlife subtheme) is also an option, though it looks more like her Bad Batch design. 🤔
