  1. But what will happen when PF motors are not available any more? Looks like Lego has stopped manufacturing them! My personal backlog is limited and I'm not going to dismantle my MOCs.
  2. This "stiff connection" will fall off after the first stress test.
  3. Ok, build halfbaked models, if this illegal Technics is so good for you! Hahaha!
  4. I doubt it works. Those triangles can easily fall off, because those castrated 1.5 pins are made for connecting Technic + System parts, not for Technic + Technic!
  5. It's illegal. This part is not made for holding Technic liftarms.
  6. Super! I would immediately buy it if it were a Lego set! Actually any Chinese manufacturer can find and hire good Lego designers among our community! Hey, Cada! Buy my vintage tractor!
  7. 1) Is it legal to connect the slim bevel 20 tooth gear to the differential like you do? 2) What holds those grey triangle liftarms?
  8. There is a noticeable backlash in your steering system, isn't it?
  9. That buyer said he legally bought the set in Walmart. P.S.Hey, wait! The link works!
  10. Some people have gotten the set... https://m.facebook.com/groups/117020648369977?view=permalink&id=3835549389850399&ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_highlights P.S.The new frame is confirmed!
  11. I appreciate you made a subtractor mechanism. Unfortunately, many designers ignore this important function.
  12. We definitely should look for the most educational sets among sets of late 80s and 90s. It was a really innovative time when we got pneumatics, compressor, suspension, flex system, airtank, electric functions, gearbox, differential, piston engine etc. All the modern sets just keep using the existing technologies.
  13. Can't believe you did it... And so quickly... I very appreciate compact and functional models. Because it's twice more challenging to pack mechanics into limited space.
  14. Ok, added another video:
  15. Yes, it was extremely hard to build the robust and compact mechanism with comfortable angles for the levers etc. I had created 10-15 prototypes until finding the best solution. I'll try to take a short video.
  16. The crawler tractor with a realistic steering system. It is driven by a one XL-motor. 4 levers let you: - start engine; - select between 2 speeds (forward and rear); - steer. You have to pull the two central levers to turn the tractor left or right. Once being released the steering levers automatically return to their zero position. Update:
  17. Somehow I never learn from official sets while assembling them. I learn new technics later as soon as it's necessary for my current MOCs. To the point of absurdity, recently I have created a topic about use an XL-motor for propulsion, instead of simply searching how it works in the Lego sets that I own!
  18. It's good you're trying to set the Ackermann steering system in such a small-sized car!
  19. Even a realistic steering wheel will look ugly, if you locate it too high, or too low, or too close to a seat, or vertically etc.
  20. You can use this part as a medium steering wheel: https://images.app.goo.gl/ot2btsRSDBqYPC8WA
  21. I predict the relatively big front wheels will be very unsteady without normal hubs.
  22. 42077 cost the same price with the same number of parts and without a license.
  23. How do you know that? And does it have any new or rare pieces?
  24. I agree. I wish it were orange, or green, or dark blue. 8880 should stay the only black car!
