  1. Why? I love 42070 and 42114 (and Ducati) are the only new Technic sets in my wish list.
  2. Does a motor run when having been connected to the Control+ hub without a smartphone?
  3. Is there a new battery block in the helicopter? Otherwise I don't understand how they are going to combine a smartphone and manual gearbox.
  4. Those large Yes. I just realised this is a good option to build an 11x8 panel instead of combining 5x11 or 3x11 panels and beams!
  5. Wow, it's going to be even cheaper than the Bugatti! Perhaps they use a simple and cheap package (like Defender) to lower the price.
  6. I wonder whether we get a new (non-RC) battery block with the set!
  7. These systems (above) are useless. You always have to place a worm gear inside some strong frame or pocket to transfer its power to the next gear. But any strong frame will be slightly longer than several worm gears combined. The slit between the worm gears makes them useless anyaway.
  8. It doesn't work. Place a 8 studs Technic brick between the black beams!
  9. Unfortunately, actually these 2l worm gears are slightly shorter, than they should be. I have tryied to combine several worm gears and it doesn't work well due to small gaps between the worm gears.
  10. Are the modern 8 gears not compatible with a chain?
  11. Thanks! I have sent photos and YouTube link on your email!
  12. The Lego designer made an efficient steering system. If a designer of a real car finds a smart solution to build more efficient steering system, he will do that without paying attention on previous solutions.
  13. I don't think the Porsche is that worse, but anyway it's always mind blowing, how Lego designers managed to build complex and functional models with very limited amount of parts available back in 90s!
  14. I guess this is not the best idea. However I wish all Creator Expert cars had a steering system.
  15. The connection between the 12 and 20-tooth gears doesn't look reliable enough. I bet these gears will be chirring under good weight.
  16. Yes. Before building truck and crawler I had explored dozens of photos and videos to understand nature of such vehicles. I even came close to random trucks on streets!
  17. That's what I'm thinking about as well! I am always surprised, why people spend (waste) so much time on copying really existing vehicles? Obviously, it limits your creativity, because you have to follow someone's design instead of creating yours! If you have a clear idea about a sports car with certain features (size, ptoportions, fumctions), then build this car AROUND your idea!
  18. Hm, I would say it's cool to have a compact and smart mechanism covered by panels. So you have to guess how it works instead of directly looking at. The latest example - Ducati.
  19. Why do they use a golden color for the new shock absorbers, whereas the rear shock absorber is still yellow? ALSO: 42048 (small and cheap cart) and 42107 have gearboxes! 42077 (rally car) and 42096 (Porsche) don't have gearboxes... I imagine eyes of my little son when I'll present him the box on his birthday!
  20. Overall the problem has been unsolved since Lego designers replaced bricks by beams 20 years ago. Old Technic bikes (and quadbikes) always had very realistic seats!
  21. Super! Finally I'll get a motorcycle after 10 years of waiting!
  22. Bought two M-motors today. I'm developing a very special RC model (like all my MOCs) and the PF system is still the best! Buwizz would be worse in my case.
