Your Granite was my first Truck Rebuild. I got angry with the "LDD instruction mode" but i had no experience and now i know, you can't use this function. When you handle the 3d model like a real one it's totaly ok. You said the Rear axle is inspired from Efferman, now your Axle is the paragon for my axles. This truck is quite simple, but the functionality is great. The hood is inspired by the Anthem, but it's also better and it's only technic. That's what make this truck so cool. In my fleet there is not only the black original. It's back to your inspirations, the race chassis is from Ingmar... The former version was a heavy duty tractor with a sleeper

WOW! Very impressive! It seems to be a lot of fun and it could be an alternative for a RC Offroader... Thanks for the instruction! -
Loveable! The total work of art is great! Only for the tractor the spoilers are a bit too much for me, but in the overall it fits. Very interesting is the extension ramp, i tryed to build a tail lift door, but the actuators were not strong enough. I think you've seen my Smurf Roadtrain on YT? It's Jurgen's W900 without the transmission and a moddified chassis for more power, because the total weight is over 15kg. Now i think about using my new trailer chassis for the 4 roadtrain trailers, it will be a lot of work and a lot of parts. The evil wizard Gargamel would say "Oooooohhhhh, i hate smurfs and perfection!" ;-)

Thanks guys! Instructions for the trucks aren't possible yet. The Renault Magnum was build with pictures from DamianPLE Lego Garage (YouTube and Bricksafe), i asked him if i could digitalize it, but i got no answer. The Mack F700 was designed by my buddy rr76 and based on the chassis of @grego18f 's Granite. All my trucks have parts/modules from @efferman, the two Volvo FM-X are complete from his ideas, only in studless. The W900's design is from @Jurgen Krooshoop, the Scania from @functionalTechnic and @JaapTechnic. As you can see, i take the best ideas of the top designers and combine them again to something new. I don't have to reinvent the wheel... You can take a look at my Bricksafe pages or YouTube and you'll see i'm a bit crazy in trucks. Step by step i'll present them here too.

Inspired by Holgi's MOC my friend rr76 and I built a 1:17 scale trailer (Arocs) for overseas containers. There are mountings for one 40', two 20' containers or one 20' bulk container in the middle of the trailer. Furthermore, the left box is free as a tool box. The rebrickable version is controlled with a Buwizz, because the Powered Up cables are too short, this is not feasible in the conventional way. RC functions: - Raising and lowering the supports - Raising and lowering the lift axle - parking brake - rear light My red one is a conversion to a battery box and Sbrick, i only need a housing in DBG. The grey prototype was build with PU, becaus the cables are to short and the PU-M motor is to expensive i used PU-PF adapters. The lights are custom LED with the Lego PU LED cable. Currently there is a 40' container and the prototype of a bulk container, we're still working on a 20' container. The instruction are available at rebrickable for free: https://rebrickable.com/users/Huwi/mocs/

Yes, let me tell so, a terrier is a dog, not every dog is a terrier. C+ is exactly only the closed app for three sets. When not every Motor is mounted on the from LEGO intendet port you can't connect the app. All devices, Trainmotor, trainhub (the small with 2 ports), xl, l, ect are Powered Up components. You can also use the WeDo 2.0 M Motor with PU. The Hub in the 42099 is called "Technic Hub" but that dosen't matter, only if you want to use the C+ App. If you want to program you can use the Powered Up App. At the beginning it's very confused, but if you're using the "Brick Controller 2 App" (Playstore) with an BT-Controller it's very easy an you don't have to thing about names. With an old Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S5) you can also use LEGO IR. Dr Spock was faster...

these tyres with a diameter of 106mm would be an option, they fit on the LEGO rim: https://store.rc4wd.com/MIL-SPEC-ZXL-19-Tires_p_1957.html but i think my calculation was something about 120mm. The real DCG 620 is much bigger than yours... That's it...

Yes, i changed all my links. Pictures in this forum have to be smaler than in our small forum. Thanks, i gave my very best. Because it isn't a D-Model i could ad some details like air filter and steps. I build the axles and i knew the wheelbase, so it was easy. The only fault is, that the tires are too small. The scale is round about 1:17, but the tyres are round about 1:20 and for the right scale i would have to redisign everything. Also i don't know such big wheel with street profile, only military.

Your starting by neerly zero, so you have following options: Power funktions (PF) old system, sale will be stopped, nobody knows exactly when good RC only with Sbrick or Buwizz servo vervy expensive Powered Up (PU) cheap, when you by at bricklink actual and it will give more parts in the future combineable with WeDo Motors if the big hub is to big you can take the smaler 2 port hub with selfmade adapters and RC-lipo more power possible neerly everey motor can be used as servo Buwizz expensive, but with Power Functions (PF) plug & play rechargeable battery and receiver in one box, so the power is fix Sbrick in combination with the rechargeable battery box also expensive, but you can split the two boxes in the model or use an step down modul with RC Lipo. If you want more models, you only need the cheeper sbrick and not for verey model a battery, so the first model ist the same price, the second is cheeper. Conclusion: take PU, it's actual, easy and you don't know how long PF will be available. The price for the rechargable box has risen drastically...

There are existing 4 trucks with @efferman 's Kinematik, his original, a second rebuild by and my Arocs with the 3d gear rack as actuator. The difference between this three and my WLF are the new actuators, maybe the angle is a litle bit other. In my opinion it's only because of the low weight container and perhaps it's not so easy to find the right position for the arm, because there's contact between the gear rack an the LA mounting. I checked out to use the new LA and efferman works on a new version. The idea with a gear i also had, because the PF-M is working hard with full load. But i've seen no hooklift with this realistic kinematics wich can lift so much (ca. 1.8kg), so i decided to live with small problems. Here you can see, the same kinematics is working smoother, the sound is the same.

They aren't showing up? That's suspect, i can see them in my post aund in your reply... EDIT: now i found the Problem, you have to be logged in at the doctor-brick forum, i have to link other platforms. You can see also them in Nico's fan gallery: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-27807/Nico71/42082-model-d-heavy-forklift-truck/#photos

The truck is controlled by 2 Sbricks, that's of course not LEGO. It's more power than the standard battery box by using the PF Rechargeable Battery Box. Hi zweihander, your Manitou ist great and it would exactly fit to my Fire Department Hooklift Truck. Have you made an instruction or do i have to build it with your pictures? Greetz, Chris

You're talking about the Technic Hub, Control+ is only the app. So i need to know how many Motors you want to run and with wich Device/App. If you want to use the Brick Controller 2 App with an BT-controller for example, you can take the Train Hub bb0892c01 with two ports. but it won't run with the closed system of Control+

You asked for pics, here they are... The weight of the bulk container is 1.1kg and the YT video is the evidence that it can lift it. At a small meeting last week it could not lift the bulk because of the gears in the bottom of the mast. Greetz from Germany, Chris

I am living in the Ruhr Area and would like to present you my new MOC as homage to my home city , the MAN TGS "Feuerwehr Bochum" That's the real truck Functions of the MOC: Drive: 2 PF-L Steering: 1 PF servo Lift: 1 PF-L on 2 long LA Lock & Arm: 1 PF-M The emergency lights including control is from www.BrickTec-lights.de and the sound module from www.rc-beluchtenungen.de It is controlled by 2 SBricks and the electricity comes from the LEGO accu box. The chassis and kinematics come from Efferman, it was only converted to the new LA and got a technic robe and the cabin is inspired by TheItalianBrick 's TGS 8x8.
