Do you think lego will ever realese another space theme
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to arealhuman's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Well.....we do have Star Wars and City space is still on the shelves. So I don't really see classic space returning anytime soon. But I have a friend who thinks they will bring classic space back. I told him that i will wire him $50 USD if they do. -

Is TLG now definitely phasing out baseplates?
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to merman's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Tbh, I can't really judge the new road system until I see clearer pictures. -

On the contrary for me. I mostly see them being used in table towns with road baseplates. What I'm saying is....they shouldn't completely throw road baseplates away. They don't need to do that. -
School bus. I mean c'mon, all Lego has to do is recycle this build and replace the pink with black.

Road baseplates and buildable roads being in production at the same time? What a joyful sight that would be. I have a town too. But I haven't any roads for it. I'm going road baseplate shopping soon. -

Yeah! They'd have to lessen the piece count DRAMATICALLY for it if it were City themed. They could do it though. -

I agree. I have some of the newer vehicles like the ice cream truck, racing cars and street sweeper. But I mostly collect the older ones that were made back when the standards of designing the vehicles was much higher and more reasonable than they are now. -

I think kids would like something more simpler. I always thought buildable roads WAS a collectors thing. Baseplates were always like playmats and those are definately things I loved as a kid. -

Yeah! Don't get me wrong. This year's Great Vehicles wave seems to have given me some surprises. One of those being the Ice Cream Truck - something that has never been done in City before. Though Capital City did have a small ice cream cart. Not very appealing though. Then there was the street sweeper and the monster truck. The postal plane was okay, but if it were up to me, it would've been a van. Otherwise......nothing else really appealed to me. -

Is it just me or does the Great Vehicles line seem to be getting smaller and more boring by the year? -

Fire sets don't look that bad either though. But I fully agree on the prisoner transport. I am disappointed that it wasn't a prison bus. Not too fond of the monster truck look either. Should've lowered the chassis and made it more like the prisoner transports from 2005, 2011 and 2014. -

I agree! It seems like they did everything in the city this time. But where are the police sets? City is nothing without those. -

Yes Sir! City is in good hands once again. We have clearly left the dark ages. -

Really? Hold up! *finds the leak on Instagram* YOOOOO!!!!!!!! I'm so picking those up. Not only did it reveal the City Center, but it also revealed the skate park, intersection and town home - which tbh looks more like an apartment building. Looks like I'm picking those up AND the main street set. The city center also has an Octan car wash it looks like and some kind of restaurant. -
Themes LEGO should discontinue
Driver Brandon Grumman replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I guess I should've figured that because I barely hear about them and there has been a log of talk about how they didn't sell well. -

Wow! Now that's a build. If only Lego did something like that as a great vehicle for their City theme, it would be so awesome. -

No. The one from 2017 please. I want one where its centered on the bus service. The 2010 one had too much other matter that I don't need. Or how about a transit bus for Great Vehicles? That would be a much better idea. -
