  1. Ah yes....the old Res Q theme. The theme that was a more extreme version of coast guard. Yeah I hope we get something similar too.
  2. Yeah! That sounds very weird to me! It sounds more like a set that should be under the My City subtheme. I hope it has a tow truck. Last time we saw one of those was in the tuning workshop set from 2020. So with that being said, I'm looking at an actual police academy building. Probably some building with rookie cops (new rookie cop torso anyone) and a practice police cruiser. Ok! That's disappointing. I was hoping it was more on the paramedic side of the first responders and would be based off of those ambulance stations that you'd see in the UK and in some of Europe. But I guess it's for a good cause.
  3. Yeah! I that's what I'm thinking when I see the police station escape and the fire station with truck sets. Pretty much, they're extentions of the police and fire stations. But I don't see them as being new buildings to replace this year's police and fire station all together as the 2022 police station and fire department just came out.
  4. MEMORIES!!!!! This was one of my favorite cars to race in the game as it was actually the fastest car in my garage. I loved getting Ws left and right in this car.
  5. LOL! YO, with that type of price, the emergency vehicle headquarters better come with a decent sized building. Tbh, I'm also hoping it has an ambulance. Police Cars and Fire Trucks get too much fame in the City theme. I mean, yes thats because the show is primarily focused on the police and firefighters (the two main characters being a cop and a fire chief), but its time that the ambulance gets some love. I hope they give us an ambulance with the same livery as the one from 2018. Not too fond of the colors on the 2022 ambulance. The set I look forward to the most is that auto repair shop. However, given that the price is only $50, I'm setting my standards really low. It may just be that we get a roofless building similar to the garage piece from 60258 or something similar in size to the car wash from 60292 along with some type of car. My hope is not that its a 4+ set. Because, we'd then have problems, Lego! LOL
  6. I used to rant a lot about City doing too many rescue sets. But Ironically enough, I'm actually looking forward to some of the rescue sets. Especially the Emergency Vehicle Headquarters. Definately looking forward to the auto repair shop, slushy truck, garbage disposal and gaming truck.
  7. Awe man! I just posted a 2023 thread for City. Guess imma have to remove it.
  8. So.....moderators, can the 2023 City thread be unlocked now? @JopieK @Peppermint_M
  9. Ouch! To think I thought of a truck that transports wheels when I thought of the wheel loader. This list looks very great! I can't wait to see the actual products. The one's I'm most curious about are 60371, 60371, 60374, 60382-60393, 60363 and 60358.
  10. Oh ok! Yeah because I saw it at Target. I only got my train station at the Lego store because I thought it was an exclusive. But if I didn't go there, I wouldn't have found out that I had a voucher as I had VIP points dating all the way back to 2019. 2019 was when that crappy new VIP point system came into effect. Seems as though Lego heard my complaints about that as they brought the old system back. Once again, I can redeem my points right at the cash register. Because of that...... .......I got my train station (along with the bathtub stunt bike) on the house.
  11. BTW! Didn't they say that the 60335 Train Station would be a Lego store exclusive?
  12. Yeah! My new profile pic fits me more. I can't argue there. Though I did acknowledge that Lego now has an excuse as the television show is basically the Chicago series for kids. But I would like to see a year where they focus on non-emergency related lines of work that still appeals to kids.
  13. LOL! Of all the notifications I get on this forum, I only checked this one. That's kinda sad that I only pick out certain notifications that stand out to me. But anyhoo, yeah I kinda wish they'd release a bendy bus for the great vehicles line already. Sadly they didn't do it this year.
  14. Finally my wish to see a paramedic subtheme and public transport subtheme. The paramedics subtheme would focus on the ambulance system. I think it could work because the ambulance is its own civilian service in most countries in Europe (which is where Lego is based) and some places in Asia and North America. The base set could be an ambulance station like you see in the UK. The public transport subtheme focuses more on the road pieces of the public transit system such as buses, taxis and ride share services. New Lego City company idea: Figlink - the rideshare service in Lego City. You can say add a subway, but given that we just got a new passenger train, I doubt it'll do well.
  15. So you don't think the helicopter from the rescue helicopter transport or the bus from the train station set give us any..... I dunno..... Easter eggs?
  16. Yeah! It would be awesome to get some new construction based sets. We have a mobile crane and a lame cement mixer for this year, which is a step in the right direction in my opinion. We've also got a maintenance of way vehicle with the train station, which is kinda like construction - or not. One of the things I'm looking for is a construction company building. We'll probably not see one of those. So we'll have to use our imagination. Perhaps I can use that old fish market from this year's fire brigade set.
  17. Well dang! That's a disappointment. I was really hoping for a few of those to be real. Do they have a real list up yet?
  18. I'm surprised we knew about the winter wave so early. LOL
  19. Didn't we already have wildlife rescue sets? But I do look forward to arctic.
  20. I wonder what the other four town related sets will be. I hope two of them are a post office and petrol station.
