  1. Most people call them flagship sets. But I like to call them town planning sets as they usually involve buildings that would do horrible on their own like hotels, museums or doughnut shops. List of town planning sets: 2009 - 7641 City Corner <<<< It may have been small, but the City division was just beginning. 2011 - 8408 Public Transport <<<< though that one was more of a vehicle pack than a town planning set. 2013 - 60026 Town Square 2015 - 60097 City Square 2018 - 60200 Capital City 2019 - 60233 Doughnut Shop Opening Maybe have some of the workers be nods to Lego Island characters like Pepper or the Infomaniac. EDIT: Btw, since you're a City fan (I happen to be one too) I'm following you.
  2. Cargo is likely. Airport comes out every five years and the last wave was in 2016. So the next one would be in 2021 alongside Coast Guard, which comes out every four years; the last wave being in 2017. What awesomeness that would be in summer 2021. City's prize water related subtheme working side by side with City's prize air-related subtheme. I'm also wagering on a harbor for this year's standalone town set due to the magnet piece and its potential to help this line of work sell among children. In/Out is usually a subtheme that's one and done - like as in its not likely to return so I don't think its an explorers subtheme as those are kinda guaranteed every year. I think it'll be based on a line of work that is NOT that popular with children. Probably a 50/50 split between two subthemes that include three sets each or something like a transport theme or something like that.
  3. Well....none of my arguments are lost on this forum and with the new magnet piece that's out, I'm wagering the scrap bricks in my Lego collection that either a construction site or a harbor will be released over the summer. I would make wagers over the airport or coast guard themes returning, but those are on 4 year rotation according to my math. So 2021 is when we'll see those again. EDIT: Airport actually comes out every 5 years. My bad.
  4. Don't worry. I'm sure if there is room for a town planning set, there is room for a people pack. Question is......what will it be based off of. I hope it's a downtown people pack.
  5. @OpenBagTwo Those are very good looking. I was at the Lego store yesterday and an associate told me that it's the auto maker who reaches out to Lego. Not the other way around. Obviously Subaru doesn't want any Lego fame so they don't reach out to Lego.
  6. I may need some of the Chinese New Year sets. I'm planning to build a Chinese restaurant in my town.
  7. @bartneck Thanks.
  8. I'll take 8 stud wide just as long as it doesn't cross the threshold into City.
  9. Is there a hard copy available?
  10. WARNING: BAD JOKE AHEAD!!!!! Because Lego is sticking the hobby to the roof of our mouths. Hahahahaha! ???? hits drum three times
  11. @Lyichir Don't ask me why but I kinda like the head wrap pieces.
  12. What's up Mr. G. Welcome!
  13. The hair piece used for the Duke DeTain minifigure. I use that same hair piece for my Lego OC.
  14. This one looks to be 6 stud wide. Must be made 8 stud wide to fit the Speed Champions standards.
  15. Each to their own. I think it could work for display purpose.
  16. What better iconic location than the main setting itself of Degrassi high?
  17. I haven't used Brickset in years. I better check this out.
  18. Who wants to see a set based on Degrassi: The Next Generation? The one with the original characters like Jimmy, Paige, Marco, Spinner, etc.
