  1. I only do classic police stations. The other police stations, I use for parts.
  2. There are at least two police trucks available for this year's police wave. One comes with the police station and the other is on the police helicopter transport. Then there is a van with the police monster truck heist.
  3. I get they sell and all...but still. Btw, the 60204 is the Hospital. 60209 is the Diamond Heist set.
  4. You didn't miss anything with LI2. Lego Island 2 was boring as I don't know what. You could only play as Pepper and you could hardly go in any of the buildings. Even after the game was over, this was still the case. I'm empathetic, but Lego Media could've done better with that one.
  5. I got that one at Walmart for $48. That was a great deal there. Usually, if would cost $60. Tbh, $50 is how much it should've been instead of $60.....and yes. They are in separate bags. I don't have very many Sky Police sets as I thought most of them were just pointless and weren't even worth buying (or being made for that matter). My wife got me the air base set for my birthday last year and I ended up stripping it for parts. I'm glad I didn't put the stickers on. Overall, the truck from the diamond heist is worth it. Its used as the riot squad unit in my town. If you live near a Walmart, you may wanna go a check out any deals they have on it.
  6. Same here. I miss those two. How about a year where Creator focuses most of its time on houses? Creator targets a much older fandom than City. So they may like the idea.
  7. Ah! Good to know. Thanks!
  8. Yes Sir! The 1st one was awesome. The 2nd one was kinda neh though. Island Xtreme Stunts wasn't too bad. RIGHT!?! Its the same place. People want a revival of Lego Island, but we've been actually getting it since 2006.
  9. That's amazing! I'm actually planning on picking the street sweeper up. Its actually a nice little vehicle to have in your city.
  10. Set Ideas/Wishlist 1 Driving School - Similar builds and piece count for set 60258. Recycle Center - This should only require a small package. Harbor - Good chance to utilize the new magnet piece and to introduce a new character: a sailor named Wanda Waves. News Station - Doubt it'll sell. Only action would be the flying pull-cord helicopter and the drone. Construction Site - Perfect opportunity to see another use of the magnet piece. School - A little skeptical on this one. It might sell, but I wouldn't get my hopes up on this one. I don't think it'll get past being on a wishlist for City sets.
  11. @TeriXeri @Digger of Bricks @AMD @danth @koalayummies @Vindicare
  12. You know what would really surprise me? If the In/Out sets aren't even a subtheme at all. It would really shock me if it were just more town sets other than just the usual three we get.
  13. @TeriXeri Those were awesome. You've gotta admit though! This one was awesome! This was the first house I have ever put in my City.
  14. Yeah! They only release one house a year. I've never been against it as well....at least we had houses. I have houses from Creator dating back to 2006.
  15. Oh! So it can fly. I'll consider that one and the police helicopter transport. But tbh, I think I'll stick with the helicopter from the helicopter chase. I have gained a streak of collecting the big helicopters for my town's first responders (that includes the coast guard). So I'll stick to that. The fire station now has a fire plane to complement it. I also have the heavy duty coast guard chopper and ambulance helicopter. I've got that one too. The stunt team and the street racers from the tuning workshop are supposed to be an illegal street racing gang. More than that. Mail truck thefts, post office heists and package thefts. You know? Something new other than just gold and money stealing.
  16. That looks amazing. Its about time modulars had some type of medical facility of some sort. I'd say the same in regards to a police station. I work as a mechanic for a living. So my favorite modular is and always will be the corner garage.
  17. Lego City, Legoland. Why does that sound like it works? I used to call the country, Legonia! With Lego City being its capital.
  18. That's something I've always loved about Creator buildings. They were always known for being affordable. I have some of their houses in my town. Actually no. I have all of their houses. Including the Building Bonzana from 2005.
  19. @ks6349 What @Bornin1980something said. 2021 Police subtheme idea..... MAIL POLICE!!!!!!! In all seriousness though, that would actually be interesting. Seeing Duke DeTain catching package thieves.
  20. I worry about them getting stolen from my door step. That's why I just buy them. I also go to the department stores too.
  21. Hello Eurobricks! Brandon Pea here. I'm in a good mood this morning so I thought I'd bring up a theory about my favorite Lego game of all time (Nay! My favorite PC Game of all time). LEGO ISLAND!!!!!!! This theory is basically that LEGO City is actually LEGO Island in the present day. For some reason, every time I look back at older City sets (that being ones from 2005-2009) and even recent ones, I tend to see characters that bare a blatant resemblance to characters from the Lego Island saga......and its not just in Lego City. I mean.......doesn't one of these guys look familiar to you? I know! I know! The guy in the picture is named Ronny. Sounds like Pepper's real name to me. I even see references in other sets too. Like Nubby Stevens making an appearance in the 7638 Tow Truck from 2009? Nick Brick, Laura Brick and the Brickster in 60047? Then there is the farmer from the harvester set for 2019 who bares a striking resemblance to Red Greenbase. That's just the tip of the ice berk. If I were to give all the possible examples I know of, we'd be here until summer. But I think Lego is deliberately doing this to play with the minds of Lego Island fans. We also know that throughout time, Lego Island evolved and became a much more diverse place with cities and everything (judging from the various cutscenes throughout the video games). Lego Island obviously became too diverse so the Infomaniac decided to rename Lego Island to what we now know as Lego City. Unfortunately, this theory could also be debunked pretty easily. Lego town sets came long before Lego Island was made in 1997. But as Lego's first open world video game, it certainly made a huge impact on town fans, thus why that remains the most popular theme under Lego to this very day. Perhaps Lego wanted to continue that success and decided to base some of the minifigures off of Lego Island characters. I mean, we do see it a lot in media where one movie seems too similar to another. But I love this theory and its kind fun to overthink a little. Sound off in the forum.
  22. That is true! I've heard about people doing that and facing huge backlash for it. Personally, in Lego David's case, he actually did a bang up job with his. Though people would wonder how he was able to do that.
